      I called Feldco for a free estimate because I saw an ad on TV listing free installation. I called to get an estimate for gutters and was told it was included in the promotion for free installation. When the sales person *************************** came out to give me the estimate. I was told the cost would be about $5,000. I asked the sales person was that the total cost with installation, because I was told I would get free insulation. He told me that was the cost without the installation charge. I explained to him that was really much more than I expected to pay with free installation, the reason that I called for the free estimate. I told ***** that I had previously gotten an estimate and cost with installation was about $3,700 and I asked if they offered any discounts, he said, that he could bring the cost down to about $3900. I asked him if he could match the previously estimate that I had gotten and after calling his manager, I was told no. I called Feldco to talk with a manager in the company, to find out why the estimate that I received was more than an estimate that I received that included installation. I was told that no manager was available. I waited almost 2 weeks after no one from Feldco retiring my call. I called Feldco back and asked to speak with a manager again, and I was told that I needed to speak with *****'s manager, *****************************. I was told that ******* was in a meeting and they would leave a message for him to call me. No one has called me back, so in stead of calling the company again and getting no help or return call, I decided to file a complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:After filing my complaint with BBB, I received a call from a manager from Feldco, *************************, he told me someone named ***** from his company would come out and give me a new estimate and they would take care of my complaint. I received a call from someone named ***** telling me that he would be in my neighborhood and to call him and let him know what time he could come by.
      I was in the hospital and I called him back and I scheduled an appointment with ***** on Monday, 9/19 at 12 noon.
      I waited and waited for him to show up. ***** never showed up nor did he give me a call to let me know he was not coming.
      I called ***** and he did not answer my call nor return my call. I then called the manager ************************* and let a message with him. He did not return my call either.
      I received a call from someone names ******* with Feldco yesterday, evening and was told to call him to set up an appointment. I called him this morning and received a text from him saying to call him later. I am not receiving the response that I expected.
      I thought by now I would soon be getting my house and garage gutters replaced,
      but all I am getting is being put off and the company is not keeping their word. I am very disappointed.

      We agreed to a price with the customer to move forward. The rep had a last minute scheduling conflict and had to cancel the scheduled appointment. We have been unable to reschedule. Customer has a standing offer to move forward at the agreed upon price as she asked. She can come into our showroom during business hours to sign contract or reach back out to sales manager to set up another appointment for rep to come out if she would like. We have agreed to what she asked, just have been unable to finalize the contract yet.

      Have left messages about garage door opener belt is coming off, have not received call back have left 2 messages and this the second time with the same issue, either the fix correctly or wanted replaced .

      ******** came out on 5/25/21 was told is she be about 6 to 8 weeks to install. Installed 9/7/21 . Door was supposed to be installed but 3 panel had a dent , I could see the installation which I told should have been cover with panel over installation part. They have has several people to come check the door out. On 8/12/22 installer come to replace panel , but my door is Black and you can see the installation and the panel they send was White with the installation cover. I thought my installation was supposed to be covered also . This has been going on for a year , I need my door replaced correctly, I should not be able to see the installation at all.

      A few months ago, I moved into a home with Feldco windows. On the first attempt to open one of them, the top pane came crashing to the bottom like a guillotine. Several others were difficult to open. I called Feldco, who scheduled a technician to look at the windows. I was charged $99 for a service call. On May 11, 2022, two technicians came out, and determined that the windows were in need of parts. I was told that the parts would be ordered, and Feldco would contact me to make an appointment to return and make the repairs. When I was not contacted after nearly 4 weeks, I called them. I was told that the technician left, and they had a hard time contacting him to get the information about the needed repairs. The person I spoke to assured me that the parts would be ordered immediately, but no contract could be found for the guillotine, and it would need to be replaced. I agreed, though I was annoyed that no one from Feldco had bothered to contact me.Weeks went by. Again.Nearly 10 weeks after the service call, I got a voicemail saying that I needed to call them to set up an appointment. Great, I thought. Not great. I was further informed that the technician who had visited my home (there had been 2, one slightly brusque and in charge and one silent, presumably a trainee) did not expect to see windows that old and didnt know which parts should be ordered. In short, nearly 10 weeks after Feldcos visit, no parts had been ordered. I needed to make another appointment so a technician could come out and determine what kind of parts were needed. Exactly as I did, 10 weeks before. At that point, I decided that all I wanted from Feldco was a refund. After 2 calls with no managers available I called again and finally spoke to a manager, **. ** told me that the $99 charged to my credit card 3 months before was a non refundable service charge. What kind of service did they perform?? $99 for nothing but the run around.

      The trip fee as outlined in our warranty is not refundable. This being a warranty transfer situation, the customer would not have had the benefit of having the expectations set properly at the point of sale. We have had a senior manager trying to get a hold of the customer to work out a solution, and potentially discount or waive any potential labor fees that would be relevant to the service to try to make up for it. We would love the opportunity to have a senior manager solve the problem for the customer, since our technicians were unfortunately able to do so properly, but cannot get back in touch.

      No attempt was made to contact me, by a senior manager or anyone else, after I indicated that I was not happy with Feldcos service, (or more accurately lack there of) and that I wanted a refund.  I had to contact them to speak to a manager, and it took three tries.  
      My windows have already been repaired by a small, local, family owned company.  Including the window that the original Feldco technician said could not be fixed and would need to be replaced.

      Let the buyer beware.  If you want non-refundable fees charged for nothing, months of phone tag, and less than efficient employees in your home who try to sell you products that you dont need, yet dont know which parts you do need, by all means hire Feldco.

      Ordered garage doors from said party, was told by sale associate that I would accept delivery within 6 weeks. 3 months later I finally received a call for the doors to be installed. Upon installation I was made aware that after sending two different individuals that the measurement was was wrong and the installers wouldnt be able to install the garage doors ( mind you I currently have my house on the market to sell) I was told that I would be contacted today 8/8/2022 in regards to compensation along with an estimated time for delivery on the doors. I called multiple times and was ignored. All Im asking is for proper compensation and an estimated time for delivery of product due to the fact Im constantly losing potential buyers due to the incompetence of this company. Thanks for hearing me out and hopefully we can come to a resolution in a timely matter.

      I purchased new windows from Feldco in June, 2022. I told the salesman that I needed a relatively quick install because the house was being out in the market. I was assured that the timeline would be met. The measurement of the windows was pushed back and I asked if they would be able to meet delivery time. I called to cancel order when they they gave me a delivery date that was two weeks beyond the sale date of the house. I was told that I would have to pay 75% of the cost of the windows if I cancelled even though the windows had not been started!!! I also asked about the fact that the windows were now on sale for buy one get one free. When I spoke to the salesman he said that that sale had just ended. I asked to speak to the salesman and was told that he was in his honeymoon. I asked to speak to someone else about price adjustment. No one ever called me back. They did rush the windows and I received the windows at the appointed time. Once windows installed I noticed that the casings above the windows was left uncovered. This was the whole reason I was replacing the windows. My salesperson promised that this area would be covered. I filed a complaint and just heard from a manager who said that they dont cover that area and gave me a ********* answer why. I told him that I expected those areas to be covered or I would have to PAY my contractor to do it!!! After paying almost ****** for windows. The customer service manager referred me back to my salesman?????????? I have yet to hear from him. Thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed with Feldco!!! Please help me resolve this issue.

      1.4.2022 I pd 1/2 down as deposit on storm door. B/C of manufacturing delays the door was scheduled for installation ***** weeks from order [end of April]. Two Feldco employees came to measure for the door. Installation team arrived the first week in June but could not install the door as it was incorrectly sized. They sized it again and order was sent to manufacturing. I was told a Rush was being placed on this as it was their fault it was sized incorrectly. A second installation date was set for August 5th [2 months later]. This week I was notified that b/c of manufacturing issues, my install date would be the end of October. I believe I have been very patient [during this same time-frame, I ordered 30 windows from ******** Renewal and they were installed last month--no manufacturing or sizing issues with ********]. Resolution would be to have my door installed and no further $ owed or the company can give me back my deposit so I can order a door with another company.Thank you for your time,******

      We signed a contract on March 16th, 2022 for 9 windows, siding, and two sliding glass doors for $30,000. We received our windows installed on May 10th, 2022 with no issues with the installation with the exception of they ordered the wrong sliding glass doors, so they had to reorder the correct size. May 18th the siding supplies and dumpster showed up and after many no shows we finally got our siding started on June 1st, so we had a massive dumpster in our driveway for over 2 weeks before the work even started. The work took almost a week to finish for siding. What we saw after it was complete was unacceptable. There were holes by that house that you could fit a whole hand in, pieces that were not fitted correctly or hung incorrectly. All the things that were wrong are too many to put in this complaint, but I would be more than happy to forward all of my tracking of the situation as I took very good notes. Here we are July 28th and still do not have the work fixed, any compensation discussed, or our sliding glass doors. We have requested the work to be completed correctly and compensation. The manager came to our house and took pictures and notes but than cancelled the follow up appointment ten minutes before it was scheduled. He finally sent an email a week after that and only after I sent an email to customer service to offer new times to discuss. We found out that are doors that had a rush on them supposedly are going to be another 2 weeks, so 3 months after the original intended installation. I feel it is necessary to let the bbb know that Feldco is the worst company I have ever worked with, and if they do not rectify this we will have to take action.

      This complaint is preceded by my initial complaint # ********, filed on 6/20/22. After filing FELDCO representative, *****************************, who identified himself as a general manager, contacted us to address the poor installation workmanship. Based on what they knew was shoddy trim work, he offered to order a new trim package for a more professional installation. The date to install was set or 7/12/22, coincidentally the same date a response was due to the BBB. Convinced that FELDCO would do the right thing, I responded that the complaint was resolved and closed the complaint. On 7/12/22, an installation agent arrived only to explain after his inspection that any efforts he made to reinstall would create a greater appearance issue. He explained that when breaking the seal on the existing caulk work, when putting new caulk over it would be uneven and that we would be more likely to be unhappy. Wow! The only thing he could offer was, as others before him, try to *************** over the indentations to make it less unsightly. He explained he would communicate all back to ******************. I immediately reached out to ****************** by phone. He later called me back, where I explained by frustration by believing something he offered as a resolution was in fact, not a resolution. At the conclusion of our talk, we exchanged emails over his commitment and offer to as a last measure "replace the entire door" if it came to that. I asked for a written commitment to which he agreed to correct his language and respond with the exact verbiage he used. I have attached copies of the communications and my last follow up, which was never responded to.
