This is now the second time in a month that this payroll company has screwed up some thing. No one will tell me what it is and my direct deposit has still not shown up now two days late tomorrow will be a third day. I keep getting the same runaround because of a third-party vendor, blah blah blah Will have it rectified by the end of the day. *** heard that twice so basically theyll send the money to my bank in a day and then who knows how long the bank is going to hold it for unbelievable unbelievable I have no gas in my car now and I have no food to eat. The company administrator has reached out and nothing has been fixed has it how is it that this can happen twice in a month from a company that this is what you do payroll again Id like to ask you are you going to reimburse me for the late fees, Ive now incurred because of your ineptitude Have you paid me yet? Has my direct deposit been deposited yet? Were now 72 hours late the whole we only talk to her administrator its just you being non-transparent because you do this often apparently after reading through the triple B I dont know whos decision it was to hire this company, but they obviously did not do their research on you , youre probably the most hated payroll company in the country and for a good reason this is a regular occurrence and another regular theme is that you will not communicate you throw up brick walls everywhere you can well I for one know that you will no longer be employed by SWK

Effective June 19th, 2023. I received an email from this business indicating that my direct deposit information has been updated. I have never registered with this company since I been on Earth. I work for Kroger Supermarket and we don't use this business at all for ACH transactions. This computer is committing fraud.Business Response

Unfortunately, this isn't a change that Paylocity would make directly into any employee's account. This would be a change that would be made by the payroll team at your company. If you want to provide your company Id/name; we can send them an email and ask them to look into this.
The other option would be that the employee can contact their own payroll team at their company to investigate.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me. I have no knowledge of this company called Paylocity nor do my current employer. This is an act of fraud. Which is the reason why I filed complaint. I will be filing a police report and submitting a letter in writing to the *** of Paylocity. I appreciate your response but my current employer is not affiliated with Paylocity at all.

so i quit a job on March 2nd, 2023 and during it the company i used to work at used Paylocity and a few weeks later i was marked as "TERMINATED" by the business and then i decided to close the Paylocity account and i didn't know how so i contacted them and they didn't want to help me so i decided to wait a few months to see if it would close its self and it never did so i decided to now file this to have them close my account.Business Response

Paylocity fraudulently with**** money from my checking account stating that it was a duplicate payment. I deposited my last check on March 10 2023, which was for last pay with the company. On May 25, 2023 they with **** that money back stating it was a duplicate payment. It is not and they did not give me any warning they were going to do it. My past company contacted Paylocity and said to call my bank to get it figured out. I am going back and forth with no resolution.Business Response

My employer uses paylocity as their payroll company starting the middle of 2022 after switching from ADP. When we got our w2s from them in January 2023 there was no ssn on them. When we finally got our w2c in April 2023 there was no wages tax withheld. Ive talked to IRS and state every week since beginning of March 2023 and my income cant be verified for 2022. My employer is trying to get the issue resolved with paylocity but paylocity keeps saying its not on their end. Paylocity has not submitted income to irs or state for half employees that were with our company before the payroll company switch. As a result there are hundreds still waiting on our refunds due to paylocity not doing their job correctly and refusing to take blame and fixing the issue.Business Response

Unfortunately, if the employee isn't willing to provide the necessary information be asked for which is the company name; then we are unable to assist. We do not work directly with the employees on any request and would need to work with the approved contacts of the company in question per the Paylocity security protocol.
If the employee doesn't want to provide the necessary information, their only option would be to contact their employer directly to discuss the situation.

My issue along with many other employees still hasn't been fixed. I literally told them how to fix the issue and they still won't fix the issue. The next steps involve my attorney and my job knows this already

My husband retired in June of 2022. Our Cobra was made effective 08/01/2022 and we were told that Paylocity(PAYL) would be the third party administrator.Since that time we have been told our insurance is inactive(Major medical, prescriptions vision and dental)every single time we have tried to use it.We have spent ************ trying to work with Payl.Their cust service is in excusable.Everyone is working from their homes.They can't talk to colleagues.They have no idea who is working and who isn't.You never get the same explanation twice & just trying to get a human takes about 15 min. We pay $1600 per month for our coverage & have never made a late payment.Yet our insurance billls go unpaid.We are paying full price for our meds because they can never see that we have coverage and Payl passes the buck back to the insurer and former employer when both clearly state the the third party admin,**** is responsible for making sure the coverage is in force.After spending 3 hours on the phone with Payl last week, we were finally told that our major medical, scripts and dental had been reactivated. They were still working on the vision. Today we were told by our insurer (Cigna) that all four of our coverages have been inactive since 1/31/23. We have paid Payl over $5000 so far this year. Making this situation even more interesting, Paylocity did not cash any of our checks during 2023. They repeatedly implied that I must be using the wrong address. We use Quickbooks and the address is entered in our system. It is the same one we used all through 2022. We could not believe out checks had not been received but Paylocity said we would have to go online to their system,set up an account and pay ACH or we would be canceled. We followed their instructions and the same day one of our checks was cashed. We have now paid through June of this year but have NO COVERAGE. Ironically, we met a couple this weekend in the same situation and none of their checks for 2023 were cashed either.Business Response

I contacted PAYLOCITY on 02/10/2023 to obtain a copy of my 2021 W2 which I have not received from my previous employer IMMUNOMEDICS. I was told by the representative that they did not have access anymore to my W2 and to contact my previous employer's payroll department. I contacted the payroll department and was told on 03/17/2023 by my employers payroll representative ******************************* that PAYLOCITY has mailed my W2 to my address and I should have it by 3/27/2023. As of 04/17/2023 I have not received my 2021 W2 which is causing me mental, emotional and financial hardship. On 04/14/2023 I was told by another payroll representative from my previous employer that they have had no success with getting any updates on whether my W2 was mailed from PAYLOCITY and/or when it will be. *************************** instructed me to contact the PAYLOCITY representatives she's been in contact with to follow up about my issue, the PAYLOCITY representatives contact information is below:********************* ********************************* ************ *************************** ********************************** I have contacted both ********************* and *************************** and have not received a response. PAYLOCITY representatives have lied to me by stating they do not have access to my 2021 W2 from my previous employer when I fact my previous employer's payroll department has confirmed that they do have my W2 and has refused to provide me with a copy of it. I am rejecting this response because:You (PAYLOCITY) have not addressed the fact that your representatives already committed to sending my W2 which was confirmed from my previous employer's legal department, which is documented with proof nor have you addressed your deceitful business practices of giving misrepresentations of material facts. Your wilful noncompliance have caused me emotional, financial and mental hardship. Additionally, pursuant to the ***** financial institutions must give consumers a "clear and conspicuous" written notice describing their privacy policies and practices and I am not in possession of any documentation that proves my personal information is "scheduled" to be purged from your systems nor have I ever received the required disclosures providing my options to opt-out or requesting my consent to house my information. Furthermore, you have a fiduciary duty to provide my W2 upon request regardless of your relationship with my previous employer because I, the consumer, am the only party required to ***** you authorization to release my personal information. I instruct you to send my 2021 W2 immediately. If you fail to send my W2 I will pursue legal action for your breach of fiduciary duties.

Paylocity was made the third party HR by my previous employer, SLP. I received COBRA through SLP due to becoming disabled. In 2022 SLP used another HR service to manage their COBRA. As of Jan 1, 2023, Paylocity was paid to maintain my COBRA with ********** Blue Shield of ***** through April 30, 2023. I have never received coverage from BCBS. BCBS states they have not been notified of my coverage by Paylocity. Paylocity states they made an attempt to notify BCBS on 2/2/23, but cannot help that they have incorrect contact information for BCBS. As of today, 4/15/23, Paylocity has yet to obtain the insurance coverage they were paid to maintain for me.Business Response

Paylocity has left twenty-five of my employees unable to properly file their 2022 tax returns and the tax deadline is just 30 days away. The Paylocity team has failed to resolve the issues, brought to their attention more than two weeks ago, and there seems to be no options available to me to escalate this matter despite my teams repeated requests for assistance. In the last quarter of 2021, my company began the process of closing an existing FEIN and moving all assets and payroll under our new FEIN for 2022. The migration work was not completed on time by Paylocity to cutover to the new FEIN on January 1, 2022. We were assured by Paylocity that they could run payroll under the old FEIN through January 2022 and that Paylocity would switch over all payroll to the proper FEIN after the migration was completed. We were also assured by Paylocity that this plan would allow Paylocity to complete all 2022 payroll tax returns (941s and 940) and issue W2s under the new, correct FEIN for our employees. On March 1, 2023, it came to my attention that Paylocity did not properly transfer over the January 2022 payroll to the correct FEIN, nor did they properly issue W2s to my employees. Despite our best efforts to work with our representative to correct the accounting issues, we have not been granted the requested call to escalate our issues to management or the tax team. However, we did receive yet another set of inaccurate W2s. Our employees tax filings continue to be held hostage by Paylocitys failure to resolve this matter. Paylocity needs to amend our first quarter 2022 941, our 2022 940, and Paylocity needs to issue accurate W2Cs under the correct FEIN. The lack of follow through on the plan to correct these outstanding issues, difficulties reaching anyone at Paylocity to assist in the matter, and our representatives inability to escalate the matte is a terrible client experience.Business Response

they failed to send funds for a 401k contribution that they deducted from my employee. I have been working for months to get this resolved and just found they resent another 401k file instead of the correct one.
