    Was booking at our timeshare ************* in *********, had to cancel twice due to a couple different issues. The site says it would refund deposits in form of check, have not received anything and wife's card was charged and never refunded either. We need the deposits refunded

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    They have not tried contacting me, I want the refunds  for cancelation,  I answer all phone calls. Refund me before this becomes a legal matter

    Dear BBB, My wife and I are timeshare owners at the Village West Resort (Sunrise Cove) since ****. Over the last several years our timeshare unit has been very dirty, appeared not vacuumed, and this year 8/2022 even the bathroom sinks were never cleaned. Dust accumulation on furniture, the decks not cleaned for years it appears. We of course are concerned about covid among other issues this can cause. Other customers that checked into their units this year that I spoke with voiced these same concerns. We really don't understand where our maintenance fee is being used, certainly not for cleaning. I always wondered if RCI inspects their resorts, because this location has deteriorated GREATLY over the years. After we checked in the last several years, my wife and I spend time cleaning with bleach wipes and vacuuming. I'm voicing our opinion because of this being completely unacceptable and never get a response or the issue resolved from this location. Thank You, ****

    My wife and I booked a reservation and we had to cancel because the hotel was closed do to key issues. We called rci and they said we would be refunded. Its now been 4 weeks and we have not received a refund. When we call we get a run around. We booked a new hotel for the same trip through them and both time they took our money immediately. I have been waiting 4 weeks for a refund. We cancelled our booking before the required date for a full refund.

    01/13/2022 The reservation was booked online by the member. "There is no record of a call with RCI Cruises representatives". THIS IS 100% FALSE. IN FACT, I TALKED TO 2-3 RCI REPRESENTATIVES TO BOOK THIS CRUISE. THE LAST "SALESPERSON" OFFERED ME A GOOD DEAL. HE SAID "SIR, YOU HAVE $1,500 IN CREDITS TO USE ON THE ****** THE REPRESENTATIVE WENT ON TO EXPLAIN HOW THE CREDITS ARE USED THE SAME AS MONEY EXCEPT YOU MUST US ON THE ***** I ASKED FOR EXAMPLES, HE STATED, FOOD, DRINKS, AND MONEY ON THE SAIL AND SHIP CARD. THAT IS WHEN I PURCHASED THE ***** 4/17/2022 A call with ******** advised there is no automatic $1500.00 Onboard Credit (OBC) but there was a promotion for up to $1500 OBC based on the cruise rate. Based on this promotion the reservation qualified for a $25.00 OBC. ******** advised she was seeing the purchase of a large OBC credit but wasnt sure of the amount as she only saw $25.00. When asked for this information in writing ******** advised if looking for a timeshare promo of $1500.00 that you would have to speak with RCI time share representatives. ******** connected member to **** with RCI **************************** 04/17/2022 RCI timeshare representative **** called in and advised, the member **** was on the line, looking for $1500 credit that was promised to him upon the purchase of RCI time share. She advised she was unable to assist as she had no access to booking information. "no access to booking information"? really? IT HAS BEEN ALL OVER EVERY PHONE CALL. IT IS CALLED, PASSING THE ***** WHEN WE SET SAIL I HAD GUEST SERVICES VERIFY THAT THERE WAS IN FACT $1,500 THAT SIMPLY NEEDED TO BE TRANSFERED OVER TO THE ************* CARD. REF.#: INQU-SB-MC-********-1. THIS DOCUMENT WAS EMAILED/ INTO CARNIVAL OFFICE FROM THE ***** REQUEST, $1500 FROM RCI TIME SHARE CREDIT, $200 COVID TESTING IS GUEST RESPONIBILTY NO COMPENSATION REQUEST A SUPERVISOR OR SITUATION BE ESCALATED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME IN THIS MATTER.
