I am not able to speak to a supervisor. I have been given incorrect information, lack of knowledge, refused a supervisor with my last three interactions with RCI in the last month. I want to speak to someone who has knowledge, authority and who actually cares.Business Response

I called RCI on 5/30/25 after receiving a bill in the mail for 2 years of RCI membership. When we switched from a weeks timeshare to a points, our membership was suppose to transfer and we were suppose to receive one year free. The 1st ****** I talked to said that our memberships were not combined and I needed to call Parkway and have them call RCI and ask RCI to wave the fees so we could purchase a new year. Parkway put me through to an in house RCI agent who said our accounts had been merged even though I could see that our weeks account was current and our points account was not. She wasnt sure why I was seeing something different than she was so she put me through to a supervisor. The supervisor basically said that the 1st ****** I spoke with must have been new, refuse to pull the phone call. Kept asking me what I thought the outcome of pulling the phone call would be and insisted that it was corrected that our weeks account should show current even though we dont have weeks anymore while our points account shows we are not current even though we have been points members for two years now. We just want RCI to do what the first ****** said should be done and remove the fees so that we can purchase a new RCI membership and use our timeshare.Business Response

I booked an all inclusive stay with RCI last August. I called RCI about two months ago confirming the price with everything going up I wanted to make sure my original confirmation and price was still good. RCI told me no no no the price is locked it when you booked and it wont change. Today I went to pay and the price went up over 600 dollars!!! RCI completely lied to me about it I would of change my reservation to somewhere else if I was told the truth when I asked RCI lied in the meantime I booked my airfare and everything because I was told this price was locked in. My original amount was 4431 now I had to pay 5055.Business Response

RCI is a terrible organization. We've had multiple time shares partnering with their organization and the deposit process is criminal. They charged me several times for usage of their system and I have lost multiple weeks of access to what I own. This is due to a legal name change that they would not recognize my legal deed, spent months updating and charging me $1500 to update their system which took a full year; and the name on the account is still wrong and I cannot schedule any vacations that I've paid for.I recently converted my deeds to Club Wyndham points and RCI is a partner. RCI attached my deceased family members (prior deed holders to myself) to the account when the account was ALL in my name. I cannot use them because I'm not the listed owner on the account. Their records are wrong; Club Wyndham sent them (again) the updated owner; I was told it would take 5-10 business days . . . and we're now on a full month. This company charges and provides nothing. There is no reason they should be listed with an A+ rating. My family have been customers for ***** and there is no interest in escalating to keep a customer for another 30.Customer Answer

RCI just contacted me and pointed the finger at their partner as the problem. This is not the full extent of this information. RCI had former, now deceased, members in their system which was changed months ago, prior to recent changes to my account, moving to Club ******* from my deeded time shares.
Following the transition to Club Wyndham (with a partnership with RCI), instead of owning that the prior ownership should have NEVER been in their system, they instead point to Club Wyndham . Although they may have partial blame in their process to correct the problem; the problem would have NEVER occurred if RCI had not attached out of date information to the account. I SHOULD NOT have to go through Club Wyndham for RCI's failure.
It is apparent RCI systems, do not take customer care into consideration, and it's only about making money with outdated databases, storage and backup systems. Meanwhile, their customers are sent into a merry go round of phone calls and transfers that never addresses their problems; while they charge you for services that may eventually, or possibly never as in my case, be rendered.

On 8 March 2025, I searched under weeks in my RCI account for lodging in *************. Aside from the week option, there are also options when doing exchanges for three and five night stays. I found a hotel listed in the desired area and checked availability. A three night stay was available for a certain point value plus an exchange fee. In order to have the required number of points, I needed to combine the two weeks in my deposits account. (I have had my timeshare for almost 20 years and am still a weeks owner). I chose the combine option and paid $169 to do that (a separate transaction that had to be done first).. I went on to try and book my vacation and the exchange fee was $1299! At no time prior to this, was I made aware that the exchange fee would be significantly higher than my current exchange fee of $299. I called RCI and asked what this was about and was told it was an Exchange Plus vacation and the exchange fees vary. I asked for a refund and my combined weeks reverted back to the original two weeks. I was told it was final and nothing could be done. This is a deceptive practice. It should be stated when searching the property what the exact exchange fee will be before being forced into combining deposits.Business Response

Complaint Against: Global Exchange Vacation Club and Resort Condominiums International Complainant:****** *******, II ************************************************ Complaint Details:On January 27, 2025, while attending a **************** game, I was approached by a representative with a tablet who offered additional game-related promotions. I provided basic demographic information and was given the opportunity to spin a prize wheel. The representative informed me that to claim my prizes, I needed to attend a 90-minute, no-obligation presentation scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2025, at 6:00 PM.Based on my selection, I was promised the following rewards upon completing the presentation:Roundtrip airfare for two and a complimentary cruise $100 prepaid gift card I saw the agent select these exact offers on his company-provided tablet. However, after fulfilling my obligation and attending the full 90-minute presentation, I was instead presented with the following alternative offers:A complimentary cruise (without airfare)A free two-night stay in one of 30 cities This was a structural change from what was originally agreed upon, and I feel that my time was wasted due to misleading and deceptive business practices. I am requesting that the original promised rewards be honored.Desired Resolution: I would like Global Exchange Vacation Club and Resort Condominiums International to provide the originally promised incentives, including the roundtrip airfare for two and the $100 prepaid gift card.Thank you for your time and assistance in resolving this matter.Sincerely,****** *******, IIBusiness Response

I contacted RCI as I went to use my points that I had accumulated over the years and they were all gone. I have been RCI member for over 20 years. I have paid thousands of dollars into their system. My points were canceled without notice. I called and spoke with the representative who initially said that she would restore my points for a fee, but then changed her mind and said she was not able to restore any of my points. This is completely unacceptable as I had deposited multiple years and RCI was able to get rental revenue off of my deposits. I would like to have my points reinstated.Business Response

I have tried numerous times to be taken off of RCIs call list. Their sales people are extremely rude on the phone when you ask to be taken off of the call list. I sometimes get 4-5 calls from them per day. My phone number is listed on the national do not call list on the ************************ website. Im going to start seeking legal action if this does not stop. Penalties can include fines of $******** per call. I am documenting and recording each call. THIS HARASSMENT NEEDS TO STOP.Business Response

The misleading/unfair business practices/Fraud occur in February of 2024. I have tried to fix the situation with both RCI and ************ with no success. The following information will lay out the issue(s).I was trying to book a trip for my daughter. I had ***** points in RCI. I found a place and the information said I could get this trip for ****** points from my ********************** points. Therefore, I deposited the ****** points. When I did this I was allowed into the actual booking part of the ********** this point, it now said that the cost would be $1,500 plus the 7***** points. Prior to this, there was no outlined cost for the trip just the amount of points that were needed in order to book the trip. Therefore, I thought this trip would cost me my 7***** points. I did not book because nowhere on the previous availability page did it say that there was a cost associated with this transfer of points. I would never have transferred those points if I knew there was a cost. This was misleading, an unfair business practice and from my view fraud. My points are now in RCI and this is not a very economical use of my points, very limited, and is not worth spending my points on RCI compared to my timeshare. The only reason I have points in RCI prior to this (*****) is because I would have lost them. Again, I would never have done the transfer if there was money due in addition to my points.I called both Wyndham and RCI to have my points move back to my timeshare but both just blamed the other even though they are now both owned by the same company. I am asking ************/RCI to fix this issue by putting my points back into my ******* club account in my current year of use or compensate me at the going rate for points for the ****** points. Since the incident, RCI has updated their website but this does not help me from the situation that occurred.I am hoping that you can help find a solution for me that is fair.Business Response
