1 starWould give zero stars if I could. Forest River does not stand by their products. We purchased a 2021 Palomino Solaire 163X in October 2022. The camper was in brand new condition. On our fourth camping trip it rained and that's when we realized that both tents leaked on both sides. The water streamed down the side of the tents and flowed right into the camper at the hinge of the tents. We reached to Forest River and they told us to go thru the dealership and have them submit a claim. We dropped the camper off at the dealership as suggested for several weeks so they can investigate the problem and the dealership agreed the leaks were due to a manufacturer design flaw. The dealership tried endlessly to get a resolution from Forest River but they kept pushing them off. ******* River finally told the dealership they cannot provide a solution to fix the problem unless they saw the problem for themselves. Our dealership responded to Forest River by telling them we are willing to drop the camper off so Forest River can investigate the problem. Forest River then responded by saying they cannot help us because our warranty expired in August 2022. It took Forest River 3 months from the time we contacted the dealership to come up with this response. Our dealership provided Forest River videos and photos of our problem and told them it was a design flaw. Forest River in turn wiped their hands of the problem by suggesting it is the consumer's problem now. We would have been happy if Forest River (at a minimum) provided suggestions on how we (the customer) can fix the problem. In our opinion, Forest River does not have ethical business practices and it is obvious they do not care about the customer. It is disheartening to know ********************** manufactures campers that are useless in the rain.Review fromJames S

1 starbought a 2023 forest river salem grand view , havent gotten to spend a night in it as it had a leak . Then no heat. Service tech came out and said the board on furnace was bad even though it had never been used. Replaced with a new one but now they say the thermostat is bad so still no heat . Obviously this is junk from the factory . I would not buy again . Seems one thing after anotherReview fromMelanie C

1 starWe bought a brand new Prime Time Aventure in 2021 (Military Family that needed to report in **********). Once reaching out destination in ********** everything on the inside was to broke. Cabinets in bathroom collapsed, floor bolts sticking through flooring, speaker fell out (poor cutting), wall staples popping out, kitchen table bowed, main door bent with window pane melted, shower sides bowing as well. Forest River did honor their 1 year warranty and fixed all of the following. Although it was in the shop for 4 to 5 month (so we couldn't see what else was wrong). Now we have re-occurring issues including new ones. The cabinet above the bed is falling down/bowing down from the ceiling and the door fell off from hinges. The cabinet above the bed has 4 screws on 1 side and 2 on the other with a **** inch gap in the middle with no screws supporting beam that hold the cabinet. The kitchen sink started to bow/curve down, under kitchen sink had the wood support on the wrong side (as in the piece of wood that should support under the shelf was stapled to the top of the shelf), and the sink had a leak (no drain putty). Then today the sides of exterior started popping out on the driver side. I reached out to Forest River to ask if they could check the blue prints or help to see if the shelf above the bed should have more screws/support in the middle or if the piece of wood under the sink should have the wood under and not stapled on top. Forest River simply said, due to expired warranty we cannot help. This ** has been a real headache since we bought it! Do not buy Forest River! They have very POOR WORKMANSHIP and overall poor quality of a camper! Things are miss cut, measured wrong, not properly placed. Every time we move this camper or go on a trip, something else breaks! This camper is a hazard and should not be sold to anyone in the ** community.Review fromJulie S

1 starWell, you all are right FR does not follow through with anything they say or have written on paper. So far we have been able to fix our issues but should not have to. My husband says they have absolutely no ethics or honor. It is so sad that it seems the sellers can tell you what you are buying will come with a gold plated toilet and they don't even have to put one in if the don't feel like it. The paperwork on ours says our fresh water tank is 60 gallons. We called and found out it is really 47. But wait for it when we measured we found out it is 36 gallons. Now I know many have much more awful horror stories than a water tank issue. My point is anyone can tell you anything and it doesn't have to have anything to do with the truth. How do people get away with this behavior? Why is there no recourse for the customer. From what you all have said over and over several times FR does not honor warranty ever. They just lull us into a false sense of security. l do not understand.Review fromAnthony L

1 starPurchased a new 2021 Forest River Wildwood 26DBUD. After getting it home, we found 40+ issues with it including cracked ceiling panels, the floor in the slide out fell out, damaged exterior sidling, and the list goes on. Our RV dealer fixed most of the issues but more keep on happening. Like now the compressor went in the fridge and it is not covered. Only used the camper on 3 trips. Do NOT buy products from this company as they clearly have no interest in fixing any of their products or helping customers with factory issues that were missed during quality control. Most likely they have no quality control. Horrible company, horrible campers!!Review fromCarrie J

1 starI have a surveyor and so far weve had it for two years. The first year it was in the shop to fix the slide out- it sat for about 4 months. Took it out and guess what? Slide out broke again. So far, weve used it since we got it quite a bit and have to make do with the slide out in. The first fix was under warranty. They started the one year warranty on the repair from when we dropped it off not when we picked it up 6 months later so the first use after the repair was about a year after drop off. And it only worked once in my driveway then it again. Found random screws on the floor after this trip. Panel in front of freezer is coming off. First time using hot water heater and it has a fault. Worst RV Ive ever owned.Review fromElizabeth L

1 starI purchased a 2019 Forest River Puma Destination Trailer and am watching it come apart little by little. It all started with the delivery in which cosmetic details were noted and reported, yet not handled by the dealer. The paper covering the thin walls, was wrinkling around the windows, the plate around the stove light was all melted, and the metal weight bar on bottom of blinds started popping off when closing. It was not until the 2nd year of owning the Puma, that the break-down of the unit really began. Moved it once, to its final destination, and upon inspection the seams where the thin wall boards come together, had popped their staples in many place throughout, AND the seams on the outside of the unit where the seams are screwed and glued, were beginning to separate. This was after moving it 1x since its delivery, a distance of 30 miles. *** you imagine what condition it would be in if it traveled 100 miles?I was on the roof of the Puma last month for an annual clean, and was scared to make my way across the rooftop as it began to crackle in some places and felt spongy in others. Basically deterioration seems to have set in. Does this mean I need a new roof now?So here we are in 2023, regretting our purchase, thinking of the options going forward as we pay off the financing on this poorly made vehicle. The unit will be unusable and we will still be paying on it. Doesn't seem right, especially when the manufacturer is making a huge profit, while leaving its customers, who line there pockets, with unusable, un-recycleable, un-refundable, and unpaid.I am wondering why someone hasn't started a class action law suit to make matters right. I have read the reviews and know I am not the only buyer with remorse.Time for a lawyer?Review fromShanon D

2 starsWe have a 2021 forest river FLX 17BH. We took it on a trip with the water tank half full because where we were going didn't have water. When we got to where we were going, we noticed the water tank brackets had broken and the tank had fallen through and crumpled. I wish I could post pictures here. Of course it was just past the warranty. The guy at the place we bought it from said that "the tanks are really not meant to drive with them half or more full." I said, "well they should tell people that when they buy the camper," and furthermore, "isn't that what the tanks are for?" I'm not sure I would buy a forest river again. The company never returned my phone call and told the place that is fixing it that it wasn't covered under a warranty and there was no recall on the tanks. Very sad.Review fromJohn W

1 starWe bought a new 2020 forest River Salem 32Bh. We purchased the extended warranty that was supposed to cover everything. Well from our first camping trip with it the sink fell into the cabinet, the under belly filled with water, the roll up blinds wouldnt roll up. We took it back to the dealership to repair the issues, they ordered new blinds, they couldnt find the water leak that caused the underbelly to fill with water. I had to repair the sink and install the blinds because the dealership couldnt get to it for a few weeks because they were busy, this last camping trip the underbelly filled with water again the insulation was soaked. Took it back to the dealership again and guess what they found the problem.. the bathtub drain wasnt connected so all the water was just draining into the underbelly. They repaired the drain and said they replaced all the wet insulation, nope when I got it back home and looked to see for myself I found they missed about 6 of insulation that was still soaked. The extended warranty we got didnt cover the repairs because the bathtub drain didnt break it fell off so they wouldnt cover it. So $745 later I still have a rv thats not repaired. I will never buy anything built by forest River and I encourage anyone reading this to stay away from forest River. Also I called forest River and they couldnt care less.Review fromBrett H

1 starThis review is for EAST TO WEST as they are affiliated with Froest River **** I bought a 2023 East to West Ahara 365RL this past March. Since my purchase this has been the worst experience ever owning a camper. I need someone to make this right or buy back the camper. I have had leaking hydraulic jacks, multipe seperated seams on the gel coating collapsed water lines to the water pump, bolts loose on the hydraulic jacks and two water leaks. On June 23 ***** I heard a popping sound coming from the camper and when i opened the door I saw that the main breaker panel was on fire. I extinguished the fire and immediately started making phone calls to corporate and my insurance. I was told by ************************* with (ETW) to see what my insurance adjuster had to say about the issue. My insurance adjuster recommended ************ in *****, ** for further inspection and repairs. Once i was able to make an appointment and get the camper to ************ i Wrote everything down that needed to be fixed. The following week Mid state calls and the technician that looked at my camper told me that the converter failed and it burned up the microwave and modem and breaker panel and it should be covered under the one year manufacterer warranty. I tried to call ETW corporate and speak with **** and left voicemails ,but nothing! I emailed **** and he responded with everything will be covered, but the fire damage. **** also resonded that by the pictures it looked like it was an exterior power surge of lightning. The weather for that day was 86 and clear all day. The camper was plugged into my house with a surge protector that showed no fault from the house and if lightning would have struck the camper im sure I would have damaged items in the house as well because the camper is parked 30ft away. So East to West and Forest River get no stars and their customer service at corporate is an absolute joke. I spent $113,000 to get mistreated and have a piece of junk camper.
