When was i apply loan
They was approved $9700
But when I stopped by Federal Way WA. branch
They said I can get only $1500
So I was so mad

Had a loan with the company. Last December i had applied based on some offer letter. They said it is approved and they want me to vist the branch in Culver City CA. I was out of state for thankgiving holidays when i reached to branch they said the approval was cancelled and no reason provided. Again full credit ran impacting my score. I asked then to stop sending such mails. Received again a offer letter for Bill consolidation money within 1 hour for additional cash. Applied again they ran full credit. Some one called from branch and got additonal details and asking do i get any financial advice or debt consolidation etc... ( Seems to be some cross selling) i said i am not interested. Then provided offer which is may be just gas money which you will obviously reject and nothing closer to the amount mentioned in letter. When i ask why they are doing this they simply said that is online system which ran all credits and they are not responsible. Now i have couple of more inquiry in my credit report. When i ask tell me from the time you sent the offer letter and now what is chainged in my credit profile so you are not offering, there is no response. They keep saying it is an invitation to apply and when i questioned if it is just an invitaion with no checks or calculation then how it says an amount of $1,952 specifically. There is no response. Initial account setup was made easy and no issues at that time. Had changed payment account using online profile and continued to receive payment attempts on old account with fees administered for each attempt. Even after showing where I had made manual payments from new account they wanted to argue and say it had never been changed...even though on my online account it showed this current account number. Stated would refund late payment fees on loan account, however would not correct any fees for attempting to withdraw on closed account regardless of payment account being active and current prior to those scheduled payments and told to contact bank for those issues. Contacted bank and told it was OneMain responsibility to correct that. OneMain still refuses to remove fees regardless of current payment account being active on account before previous payments attempted. Made process easy in beginning, but will not take ownership for their mess up with visual evidence provided. Would not recommend due to ongoing issues unless just really in a bind and don't agree to auto payment.OneMain Financial Group, LLC

Was pre approved for a bill consolidation loan on ********. This was NOT pre approved as a secure loan. Someone from the Pittsburgh office called me to verify some information. Found out I was not really pre approved and that I would need to have collateral or a vehicle title. What kind of bait and switch company is this???OneMain Financial Group, LLC

The company will suck you in with a friendly willingness to want to help you at a tough time. Once you are locked in, make them your main financial priority. They will harass you over a couple of days late. They cause me so much stress I will go without my prescriptions or adequate groceries. I will pay my mortgage and phone bill late before I get too many days behind with them. It is not worth it. Last thing at night and the first thing on my mind is my payment when it's due and they make sure to not let you forget. This is the worst feeling I've ever had in my life. Don't make my mistake. Keep peace of mind and a stress free life. Do not I repeat DO NOT make my mistake. It's the worst debt I've ever gotten myself into.OneMain Financial Group, LLC
