      Promised free installation. Promised 1 GB download/upload. Promised fiber cable would be buried within 2 weeks. Did not receive any of that. I was able to get installation fee waived, but they also added a $12.95 monthly tech fee which was never mentioned when I signed up. Reaching customer service was nearly impossible, waited on hold for 10 minutes and call just dropped. Tried reaching via SMS and they cycled me through 3 different team members before dropping the chat. My 1 GB service is actually less than 200 MB. I can't believe I would ever say this, but sorry I left Spectrum.

      They partially installed my Fiber in OCTOBER of 2023. REFUSE to send someone out to finish the job. Cancelling immediately. WORST ISP IN THE HISTORY OF THE INTERNET and it's not even close.

      Metronet has left an unburied line to a home in my neighborhood for 6 months, since January 2024. Yes, ground may have been frozen then but it is now June 11, 2024. Although the customer has requested it be buried, so for they have not received service. I am the nighbor and have had to move this “fiber optic cable” multiple times to mow between our homes.

      Metronet came into our neighborhood, College Park Estates in Indianapolis. They were laying their cables, they cut my Xfinity wifi 3 times. I worked from home full time. I lodged 3 complaints and never received any calls or reply to my emails.
      They left 3 large holes between my and my neighbor's homes. I kept losing power to my home until it completely went out last Thursday. Today AES found the issue.
      Metronet has slivered my cable for my electricity over time due to the holes the water fried my lines. They have a temporary fix until they can come to replace this. There are 4 other people in my court as well as 4 other's in the neighboring area of my home. I would NEVER use this company. They have caused so much destruction to our neighborhoods and maintaining work schedules.

      Metronets website says we'd be getting "A letter letting residents know that they will be coming to their area in the next 30-45 days and what to expect." This did NOT happen. Instead, our yard got flagged, then 5 huge holes were dug, their big digging machine was driven across our entire yard, then the holes were left with chunks of dry, dying, uneven sod just thrown over top. Other areas were left with tire tracks and cheap grass seed. Then, their website says "Metronet answers all inquiries and addresses any concerns within 24 hours (one business day M-F) and repairs any damage occurring during the construction of their network". This is also FALSE. They do NOT respond to any inquiries or "tickets" you submit for repairs. How is this company allowed to do this to us? Just because they have millions? THIS COMPANY MUST BE STOPPED!!!!

      About a month ago, Metronet dug holes in our and our neighbors' backyards. (None of us signed up for Metronet services and received no advance notice about their work--they just showed up and dug.) While they filled and patched the holes in our neighbor's backyards, we had a hole (covered by a piece of plywood), a pile of dirt, and cones on our lawn. After two weeks, I submitted a request on Metronet's website. From our city website: "MetroNet promises to answer all inquiries and address any concerns within 24 hours (one business day Monday - Friday) and to repair any damage occurring during construction of our network." Ten days later, the ticket was still showing in-progress. Since we have our high school senior's graduation party coming, I called and the case was escalated. A person came, filled the hole, and laid grass seeds. But the pile of dirt, cones, and plywood are still there. Two days later, I called again, but the agent could only promise someone would come as soon as possible.
      So now we have a graduation party coming up, and the lawn is still a mess. We did not sign up for any MetroNet service; they just came into our backyard and created a problem. We tried to be patient with them but they don't take any responsibility for their work. I spent so much time trying to find their information, filing a request, and calling twice (each time with 15+ minutes waiting to get to an agent) to solve an issue that should be automatically resolved by Metronet. It's utmost unprofessional.

      Over the last 10 years or so I have spent thousands of hard earned dollars putting in a underground sprinkling system as well as paying a lawn care service to keep my lawn insect, weed free, and looking healthy and green. In a matter of a week Metronet came in to bury there cables digging several holes, a trench, and putting a big box in my lawn completely destroying my lawn and the hard work put into making it look good. When they finished they pounded down the ground put a hand full of a cheap grass seed hay mixture down ( which by the next day had mostly been blown away by wind ) and all it grew was weeds. I realize they need to bury their cables but they need to do more to repair and get lawns back to original conditions. ( but hey why should they care it’s not their lawn being destroyed right? ) Now I guess it’s my responsibility to spend more of my hard earned money and buy and put down dirt and grass seed to repair the damage they did and restore my lawn. To top it all off I keep getting flyers in the mail and on my door promoting Metronet services ( that’s hilarious ) after experiencing they way they have already done things without excepting responsibility they are just wasting money on sending advertising to me I will not use them and will tell and discourage as many friends and family I can from using Metronet

      High pressure. Dressed like a construction worker. Told me I couldn’t contact him. The only option I had was to make an appointment. I refused. He told me I could take a picture of his badge and ID. But, his ID wasn’t a drivers license. He finally gave me the website. Then he admitted he wasn’t using his real name and gave me another name. I asked if the prices are guaranteed for a lifetime. They are not. What I have now is. My speed was better in the house than it was when I was outside with him. I don’t trust this company at all!

      They are installing fiber optics in Colorado Springs. There is a sink hole from them digging in front of our driveway. It’s a safety concern and issue. I reached out to the company and they said they would have a field representative look at it. It’s been over a week, and nobody has come out to repair the damage they caused. They caused the damage by drilling and the sink hole is getting deeper. If they can’t or won’t fix damage they caused, I can only imagine what their customer service is like if you use their service

      Metronet service tech/representatives dug up my yard, and replaced my sod with some type of cheap grass seed that do not match my bermuda sod that they destroyed. I filed a compliant with Metronet about a month ago and have not had a response. All I was asking that they, either provide me with replacement sod or the pay for the cost of seeds to replant to replace the missing/destroyed sod. I am not asking for the cost of labor just replacement cost for seed or sod. They are fairly new to the Hope Mills, NC area and I will be placing ads on facebook and other social medias sources if they continue to ignore my compliant. If I could I would only give them a 1/2 star.
