      This was my first dealings with Peterman. Ordered a whole house humidifier system and also purchased their yearly service contract for which they collected the first month payment of $20.00. The product was ordered on Monday January 27 and installation was promised by Friday January 31. As of Friday January 31, I had heard nothing from them regarding setting up installation time. Called to cancel everything on that date. The customer rep I spoke with was very impolite and uncaring. Received notification on Monday February 6 that service contract had been cancelled per my request. No mention of refunding the initial $20.00 payment. Contacted Peterman's about this and received no response. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. I wouldn't use this company even if my HVAC system was down in the harshest weather conditions imaginable.

      *******, were sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. We do see that you had an appointment on 1/30 and the technician ordered your humidifier, but nothing in our records show that the part was estimated to arrive on 2/3. We apologize if your technician gave you the impression that an appointment was scheduled for that day. Per your request, we have refunded you your $20 membership and hope you will consider us in the future.

      I had a gas water heater replaced recently by Peterman, to the tune of $2800, which I've since been told is very high. I also signed up for the monthly service program. When they came out to check my furnace, I had to take the whole day off since they couldn't pinpoint even am or pm. So the service tech, who was great, charged me $200 for a part, then told me that I need a new furnace that would be at least $8000. I am a senior citizen on a very limited income so he may as well just said $100,000. I have never had an issue with my furnace and now I'm beginning to question the ethics at Peterman

      *********, were sorry to hear youre disappointed with our service. As noted on your invoice, your technician found that your system has a cracked burner assembly. He showed the picture to his supervisor who agreed with his diagnosis, which is why we recommend replacing your system at this time. Were sorry we were unable to come to your home at a time that was convenient for you.       ******* came to our house for winter inspection of furnace and to replace filter. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Will request him in the future for service on air conditioning and furnace inspection.

      We have a service contract with Peterman Brothers for our air conditioner and furnace that they installed a couple of years ago. Twice now when they have come out to do a routine Spring or Fall inspection, they have broken them. The technician came out yesterday, did his inspection, said everything was great, and this morning we woke up to a 60 house with the furnace not working. I called them and they said they cant come out until Wednesday, after speaking with the supervisor, she says Tuesday. I just received a text confirming our appointment is Wednesday December 28th. So not even Tuesday. Isnt it a bit suspicious that not once but two times this has ?happened?
