APRIA charged my insurance $397.80 for a childrens nebulizer that can be bought online for $40-$50. Same exact machine.I was told by my doctor we qualified for a program through my insurance to cover the machine 100%. They charged my insurance an absorbent amount so my half was $67. When trying to deal with this matter APRIA's customer was horrible. I requested a copy of how much they charged my insurance and what my half was. They refused to send it to me. I had no proof they even billed my insurance. I asked the APRIA guy if he could tell me how much they charged my insurance. He then told me they charged $67, which indicatesmy insurancedidn'tpay any. I then called United Healthcare to confirm and found out they charged them almost $400! That is 150% markup from the average cost anywhere else! United Healthcare advised me to start an appeal as that is ridiculous cost for that machine. APRIA 100% tried to hide from me and lied about how much they charged for the machine.

Apria's CPAP equipment never worked properly. Once a week they continue to call to collect $168 from me. Each time I ask them to not harrass me for something that never worked.I've asked them to give me a place to drop off the defective equipment. Hold for a supervisor, then a hangup. Every time.I've asked if they will come and get the equipment. I see thier trucks around my city. No response.I've told them that I plan to report them to the BBB and State of Illinois Attourney General.Just more bills and "past due notices". No *********************** caring. AT ALL.This is almost a scam, and I feel for people that get bad equipment and nothing but notices.Sleepless in ***********

I've never dealt with a more confusing, frustrating, and unaccountable billing system. I pay my bill in full each month, and yet somehow my balance continues to risewith no past due amount showing and zero explanation. Despite explicitly telling them I have a high deductible and to just bill me the full amount, they insist on guessing what my insurance might pay. Spoiler: theyre wrong.Even worse, they keep bouncing me between them and my insurance provider, leaving me stuck on three-way calls where no one can explain whats going on. Billing history? Incomplete. Equipment purchase? Not allowed. And after paying for three months, Apria erased my payments entirely just because my employer changed insurance. How is that even legal?Bottom line: avoid Apria at all costs. If you value your time, money, and sanity, buy your equipment outright if possible and run the other direction.

DO NOT USE APRIA HEALTHCARE for your medical supplies. Even after I've told 3 different callers that I am sick and do not have income, they continue to call and harass me about a bill I cannot pay.

Apria is a dishonest company with at least one dishonest sales person. My doctor put in an order for a **** machine. Unfortunately, Apria was the *** provider. The sales person quoted one price on the phone and then emailed a sales agreement for a much higher amount. She said it would be a one -time payment of $468.66 right then and then 5 payments of $63.66. She said she would be emailing me an agreement which I needed to sign as soon as possible so that my order could go out. She seemed to be in a rush to get off the phone and quickly explained that my insurance company requires 4 hours of usage each night. She said if I could not do that, wear it while watching tv in the evenings and if you dont tell, I wont either. The sales agreement she emailed totaled $2719.82. There were so many add-ons including a humidifier for $835 - there's a humidifier built into the **** machine- and a highly marked up mask- **** FRAME SYS AIRFIT F20 FF RESMED model ***** for $669. The sales person didnt mention either of these on the phone. Needless to say, I did not sign it. I couldnt reply to the email to let them know that because It comes from a No Reply email address. The next day I received the first of 4 email reminders to sign the agreement. Each email states nothing will be sent until the agreement was signed. Again, these emails come from a No Reply email address so I could not reply letting them know it was not a deal. I called Apria to say I wanted a refund. Billing said she saw my payment but I would have to wait a week or two for it to show posted and then I would have to call back for a refund. I then called the order department to say I wanted to be sure the order was not being sent since the sales person lied about the price of the order. She said it had been sent and that I would be getting it the next day. She told me I would have to return it to the local office. Deceptive and fraudulent to patients and insurance companies. One star because 0 not an option.

My machine started to fail about 2 years after I got it. I called Apria to exchange my $1000 machine and they said someone would need to call me and tell me if my machine is out of warranty. This person on the phone sounded like she couldn't care less whether or not I got a machine that necessary for BREATHING CORRECTLY at night.

Title: ************************************ and Lack of Care I am writing this review out of deep frustration and concern for my health. My doctor prescribed me an oxygen concentrator due to a serious respiratory condition, and Apria Healthcare was assigned to fulfill this prescription. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare.Despite the urgency of my medical needs, Apria has continuously delayed the delivery of my oxygen equipment. Every time I call, I am met with a new excuseranging from "system issues" to "insurance verification delays"none of which justify the weeks of waiting Ive endured. Their customer service is unresponsive, unhelpful, and at times, dismissive of the fact that this delay is directly affecting my health and ************* is unacceptable for a healthcare provider to treat patients with such disregard. Oxygen is not a luxuryit is a necessity for people like me. Aprias failure to deliver timely care shows a complete lack of compassion and professionalism.I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with this company. If you have a choice, look for a provider that actually values patient health and delivers on their promises.

This company is a complete scam. They sent me replenishment products that I didn't order, and proceed to charge and send me to collections even though I had called 10+ times to remove the charge as I had proof that I said NO when they asked me if I wanted more products. Every time I call their billing ***** they hang up so I can't reach them.

I continue to be billed for an amount that has already been paid. I cancelled the hospital bed prior to final payment. They continue to call and send requests for payment regardless. I Would never recommend Apria to anyone regarding their billing system. I will be informing the ****************** system to find another supplier.
