Mold on One of Three Identical Nectar Mattresses—Warranty Denied
I own three Nectar mattresses purchased over the past few years. All have lived on metal platform frames at least a foot off the floor—never directly on carpet or hardwood. Two are perfectly fine; one developed visible black mold on its underside, which led to weeks of unexplained fatigue, dizziness, and brain fog for my spouse and me.
Because the mattresses share the same environment, airflow, and care routine, I suspect this unit arrived with dormant spores that slowly bloomed. Unfortunately, Nectar’s warranty team dismissed the claim in minutes, citing a blanket exclusion for “mold.” Their warranty contract also mentions that removing the permanent cover voids the warranty—so there’s no safe way to launder the fabric if something goes wrong (though does it even matter if it's not covered anyways?)
Mold can form from manufacturing or storage conditions—not just customer misuse.
You’ll pay over $1000 for a mattress advertised as having a warranty, only to discover critical exclusions after a problem appears.
On top of that, I was offered an extra warranty for $130 in that same checkout flow which I ended up purchasing. When trying to submit a claim through them which I now see is through the company "Extend", they *also* denied it, citing the same blanket exclusion for mold, so there was really no point in buying the extra warranty.
I am still hoping Nectar will revisit the claim and at least offer *something*. Until then, I can’t recommend the product or the warranty process. Mattresses aren't cheap, find one where you can have the peace of mind that if something goes wrong the company will have your back.Nectar Sleep

I placed an order for a bundle on 7/11. I chose the 36 month financing option with Affirm since that is what fit my budget. Within an hour of placing the order, I decided i wanted the premier hybrid instead of the classic hybrid, so I called customer service to have it swapped. I was told they could not swap the mattresses within the order and they couldn't cancel the entire order because the frames were already processed. I was told that they could cancel the mattress and I could place a second order for the upgraded ones. There was no mention that this would impact the finance terms.
After placing the order for the replacement mattresses, new terms were generated for the mattress and the existing finance terms for the frames essentially reverted to 18 month terms. I called both nectar and affirm, and neither could/would do anything about it.
So, i'm now stuck with twice the monthly payment, which was not in my budget. That said, I had to call back and make sure the free bundle items were re-added because they weren't included in my replacement mattress order.Nectar Sleep

I had a hip replacement surgery. I was sleeping on a twin size Nectar Matt in the guest room. Have had the twin for years, one of the most comfortable and durable Matt's ever owned. I spent years in Bedding sales, and sold some of the best offered on the mkg. My twin Nectar was superior to anything I ever owned or sold. I needed to upgrade size to a full sized with the premier frame and massage unit. I love it. It was just what I needed in order to get a comfortable night's sleep and rest, and to elevate my legs. In performance, it is comparable or maybe even exceeds the King size in my master bedroom, famous name brand, costing almost three times the costs of my Nectar. I am a Nectar fan and customer for life.Nectar Sleep

I purchased the Nectar pillows and absolutely love them!!
I have tried multiple brands of pillows and have spent more money than I cared to. Once I received these pillow I was very happy with the quality and the comfort. Also I use a silk pillow case which also makes it very comfortable!!Nectar Sleep

Horrible, horrible experience and will be returning mattresses due to customer service experience. Horrible/no customer service!!! Would have loved to keep the mattress because it does seem comfortable but will not keep with the current frame and want to spend my hard earned money with a company that respects me and my concerns.
Mattress frame received according to Nectar website was supposed to be 60x80 but actually measures 78 1/2 by barely 58. If they would have offered to exchange it as I asked they could have kept a customer now I am so upset about all the time wasted and rudeness received that I don’t want the damn bed anymore.
I spent 4.5 hours on the phone they require 15 different pictures that I kept having to resend because they didn’t like them. Not to mention I got disconnected twice and they didn’t call back even though I had been sending via email photos and sent my phone number.
On my third call I was told the bed frame is within acceptable measurement guidelines and they won’t replace. When I explained the shorter frame will create more opportunity for mattress to sag they said mattress is under warranty if that happens. We have two other adjustable frames and they all measure exactly the same size as mattress.
In addition, we initially also thought usb ports were missing and massage function didn’t work because the book received for the mattress frame was not for the mattress frame we apparently have. The usb ports were in a different place and massage function instructions did not turn it on but my husband was able to finally get it to work a different way.Nectar Sleep

Didn’t want to refund adjustable frame because the box was opened. Can’t return the mattress unless it was used on an approved frame. Finally agreed to the return. Sales tax on a $2000 plus order was NOT refunded.

My chiropractor recommended thaT I get a nectar mattress because I was waking up with back pain. Should have done it years ago. We spend a third of our lives in bed. We deserve to have that be a great experience.
