      I have always likedGurney's but this latest order is my last. I ordered tomato, pepper and eggplant plants in January and March in packages of 3 for $17.99 each (that's $6 perplant).They were supposed to be shipped April 8--15.They weren't shipped until April 24, and when I got them they were unhealthy and less than 3" tall. It's too hot in Texas to plant seedlings that small outside. I want a full refubd. A couple of the plants are nearly dead and all are puny and weak. I wish I could show pictures. I want a refund.

      Gurney's must have moved to India, representative could not speak English to the point that she could be understood. They stated that most of my order was on back order. Why would a seed company sell seeds they don't have?. Order will take almost 2 months to receive, if it arrives at all. We'll past planting time in our area. DON'T Buy from them.

      I was patiently waiting for my order to arrive and was notified yesterday that my money has been refunded. No reason why. Very disappointed.

      We will never order from them again. It took two weeks for our order to arrive and the live plants/roots were all dead. Our order sat in Ohio for over a week and did not move!

      Gurneys is the worst company I've ever ordered from. The process took a very long time! I was consistently told an item I wanted was out of stock. I finally put an order together so I would receive "Free Shipping" that was to arrive in 2 weeks. I checked tracking after receiving a notice that my order had shipped and it was awaiting delivery. After not receiving my order the following week I checked again with the same result. The next day I was told my order was "Undeliverable" and my money was refunded! They wasted my time and threw me off my planting schedule! I should be grateful after reading the other reviews! Stay away! They'll waste your time!

      Dont order from Gurneys if you want to actually get your items. I ordered onions on February 13 and still have not received them. The end of the original shipping window was March 2. A week ago, I checked the status of my order and the onions still hadnt shipped. I called customer service, who said that the order had been overlooked and that they would be shipping the onions within 3 business days. Today, I checked again and not only had the onions not been shipped - the shipping estimate had been changed to be as late as April 5. I once again contacted customer service, who apologized and offered a $15 credit on my account, not even enough to cover the total of the onions I had ordered. After some prodding, he offered to flag my order as a priority (not sure why he didnt offer this in the first place), but could not give a shipping estimate beyond the April 5 window. As it stands, I will have to buy onions elsewhere to guarantee that I can plant them in time. I have ordered from Gurneys before but will not do so again since theyre just too unreliable.

      Ordered & paid for trees in Nov. Checked order in March to see when shipping. Order says cancelled. No email or text notification of this. Also, no refund of charges. Only refunded charges when I asked why they didn't refund already. No return email or text as to when/why the order was cancelled. Shady/very poor business practice. I assume they would not have refunded my $134 if I hadn't asked them to. Will not order from this company again.

      We used to order all of our plants from Gurneys. This past year I ordered over $100 in products. The plants that arrived were dry, small and almost dead. In fact everything I ordered died within a month. While they do provide a replacement guarantee, the were out of stock on everything I had ordered, so replacing with something else would have meant a huge, over marked up postage and handling fee. Based on the other reviews, I am certain the new plants would have arrived in the same condition. I wish I had checked reviews before forking over so much money, but as I said years ago they were a great organization. Don't waste your money with this company.

      Buyer beware--Gurney’s not interested in making things right! I had an unauthorized charge on my credit card from Gurney’s Seed & Nursery Company. I never placed this order, and customer service was very confused about the charge. They were unwilling to rectify and suggested I file a dispute with my bank. I also received someone else’s order living in Michigan that was shipped to my address. **** from Ohio

      Ordered garlic to plant back in September. Planted just as the directions were given. Been almost 3 weeks with no sprouts at all. Called and all they were willing to do is credit my money to order from them again. They would not put the refund back on my credit card. Why would I want to buy again from them. I will never recommend their business.
