On 12/4/23 I purchased a Swagtron-EB7-Elite-Commuter-Folding-Removable-Electric-Battery bike from **************** through my job. For the amount of $922. At the time I did not think to get any extended coverage or warranty, not knowing of the soon to be problems. Within a year, my son started complaining about, the battery not holding or keeping a charge. When i tried to purchase a replacement battery they were always out of stock. I called **************** where I got the bike from, to see what or if anything they can do. They told me to call the company direct and gave me the only listed customer service number, which was out of service, not working. I also sent an email to the company, no response. Apparently the company went out of business, but fail to compensate any customers on their faulty products that were purchased.Initial Complaint

I purchased an electric bike from Swagtrons official website on October 6, 2023, and paid through ****** Pay using my *************** credit card. Within just three months of regular use, the bike developed serious issues, including brake malfunction, unstable power, and structural concerns in the front bar.I reported the issues on January 8, 2024 (only 94 days after purchase), and was initially told my warranty had already expired. After raising my concerns, Swagtron acknowledged their mistake and issued a return authorization, stating the bike would be repaired under warranty.However, after I shipped the bike back and paid $35 in return shipping Swagtron reversed their decision, claimed the issues were not covered, and asked me to pay out-of-pocket for repairs. I continued to communicate respectfully and persistently with their customer service, trying to find a solution for months. I also contacted *************** to dispute the charge, but because of how much time had passed in trying to resolve things with Swagtron, I was no longer eligible under their 60-day policy.This entire experience has cost me a significant amount of time and energy, going back and forth with the merchant and my credit card company, only to be left with a broken product and no resolution. Ive made every effort to resolve this amicably, and I am only turning to BBB now because Ive exhausted all reasonable paths on my own.I am requesting a full refund or reimbursement of repair and return shipping costs.Initial Complaint

I ordered the T6 outlaw on 1/16/24 and payed extra for the 1 year extended warranty unit arrived but has never properly worked. It starts spinning around out of control. Ive had friends who have the same unit and they say something is wrong with mine. Ive tried contacting swagtron multiple times and only response Ive ever gotten is thanks for contacting us we will get back to you but they never do. Ive probably tried contacting them 10 or more times but never get a response. Cant find a phone number there was one in the box but its been disconnected.Initial Complaint

I purchased a scooter through ******* (the brand was Swagtron), and then I was emailed by ******* recently telling me:"In cooperation with the ************************************** (CPSC), you are receiving this Safety Alert because our records indicate that you purchased a Swagtron SG-5 Swagger 5 *********************** Scooter from ******* or ***********. The **** urges consumers to immediately stop using and charging these electric scooters."I have spent many hours chasing down ******** and they told me that since the item is out of the return window, they can't do anything. I contacted Swagtron multiple times, and they have not responded. I have stopped using the item, but I need a refund since this is not my fault.Initial Complaint

The ************************************************ recalled the Swagtron Scooters Due to Fire and Burn Hazards; Risk of Serious Injury and Death. I received an email from ******* saying "As a valued customer, you will receive a follow-up email shortly with instructions on how to request a refund." However, I never received a follow-up email so I messaged ******* and their escalation department said that Swagtron needs to refund me since they are the manufacturer. I bought two scooters initially, then exchanged a broken one. I currently have two Swagtron scooters that I am supposed to dispose of for safety according to the *******. Swagtron has ignored my attempts to get a refund for their recalled products that are hazardous.Initial Complaint

I purchased a EB7 ************* Bike from ************************** on November 24, 2023 for $499.99. I also paid $65 for 1 Year Protection Plan warranty. Total paid was $********* June 2024 the bike just stopped turning on and it appears that the battery no longer works. I need Swagtron to to replace the battery under the warranty that I purchased.I emailed Swagtron customer Support on June 3, ************************************************************************** within ***** hours. I never got a response. I followed up on June 3, 2024 with another email and received the same auto-reply and again they never contacted **** have tried searching for phone numbers to call and have never been able to get in touch with anyone at the company and it seems impossible to get a response.The warranty that I purchased clearly covers this issue and Swagtron is being non responsive.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase for an adapter that was ***** for my charger on August 5 I received it August 10 and it was not working so I emailed swag Tron immediately and in total four times and no one has gotten back to me
