    On 11/30/2022 I ordered
    *** ** *******  BIG TOP CIRCUS CANDLE HOLDERS (SET OF 12)
    for $19.95.
    On 12/20.22 I received a message "You approved an order to Victorian Trading Co on November 30, 2022 for $145.50 USD. Victorian Trading Co has updated the total amount of your transaction. Your new total is $153.09 USD. See below for details." There was no reason for this increase in charge, none was given other than they sent the new total to my PAYPAL account.
    When I finally received the order, I did not like the Circus Candle Holders and sent a message to Victorian Trading Company, asking for a return slip, so that I could return them. They sent an email message on 12/30/2022, 1:52 PM as follows:
    **** *********,
    We would like to acknowledge that we have received your request and a ticket has been created.
    A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response as soon as possible; typically in less than 72 hours.
    Thank you for your patience.

    I have never heard from them since. It is now February 24, 2023.

    My credit card was used to pay for products I never received. Am email was sent that my order would be delayed. I tried to contact through email and phone, both were disconnected.

    December 14, 2022 - I purchased a Moonlit Nightscape Painted Lamp from VTC for a total amount of $127.03 on my **********. The Order No. is *******. I never received the lamp, never received a refund, never received an explanation. When I tried looking into it, I learned that apparently VTC closed up shop without any warning or notice. Really disappointed that they would treat faithful customers that way. Regardless, do I have any recourse to recover my $127.03. That is a lot of money to me and this was to be a special Christmas gift for a co-worker/friend. Hate to think I have been had - just not right. Thank you in advance for any recourse you can offer.

    I bought some clothes from this company for $151.82. They were too big so I emailed to return them, which I did. They emailed me and apologized for the delay but I never received the replacements the promised to send me

    I have done a lot of business with VTC these last 35 years. I now have in my possession $200.00 in gift certificates. They obviously have gone out of business because I have not been able to reach them by phone or on their website. How can a business get away with this and not, at least notify their loyal customers? Is their any way to recoup this money?

    I ordered an item (Alice in Wonderland playing cards) from Victorian Trading Company on December 10, 2022. I've ordered from there before (most recently in November & had absolutely no issues) so I was confident my order would be delivered.

    I noticed after a week or so that I never got a shipping confirmation. I reached out to customer service on Jan 10th but afterwards was unable to get on their website. All numbers for "customer service " were out of service too.
    I still can't see anything on this website or a way to reach out to customer service or get an idea what happened to my order. I'm reporting so that I can get a full refund to original source of payment & notify this store has acted unethically and without care for their customers.

    On December 13, 2022, I spent $46.75 on items I have not received. I received one email stating it was running late about a month ago. I have not received further communication nor have I received my items. But, they have my payment. I cannot believe this company apparently went out of business and took loyal customers money before even shipping the items. I am seeking a refund. I have also contacted PayPal.

    I just purchased 2 items last month as Christmas gifts. On December 12 the company sent me an email stating there was a shipping delay and my items may not arrive by Christmas?
    Now they are out of business? Obviously, the company was still selling while going under if this is the case, and that should not be legal.

    On December 15, 2022 I placed an order of $345. The order number is ******** I have not received any email stating that my order was shipped or any thing saying that my order has been delayed. I tried to reach out to the company by phone and it said this number was no longer in service and when I tried to visit the companies website, the website is no longer up as well as I cannot find them on **** anymore. I’m not sure if this company went out of business without telling anyone, but I am extremely annoyed, because I know how that money held up I am disappointed in a company that did not send out an email if they were going out of business and cancel peoples.
