  I loved VTC since it opened and usually great choices and good prices except for the last couple of years it became so expensive. I will miss this store so much. I have always received purchases that were paid for. I hope it can recoup and come back to us soon.

  Returned item for $179.95 + tax + handling fee, for credit that I never received. Big loss. Was my husbands Christmas gift to me.If VTC were no longer operating, post office should have returned my package!Quality has been mediocre based on past experience. Items overpriced.

  I am in mourning! So saddened by this news, and like the rest of you found out the hard way! I attempted to purchase an item last week, only to find they are no longer in business! ??. I have been a customer for many years. A farewell would have been nice, not to mention we could have swooped up some of their many, hard to find unique items. This company was a must for any Victorian lover. Anyone know where theirs, or similar items can be found? Their items have to be out there somewhere. Anyway??

  Loved VTC, but hate the shaft! I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting daily emails since the beginning of the year. I agree their products varies in quality, and their service especially during the pandemic was sporadic. Thought it had all been fixed, but so disappointed now. Unusual items you couldn't find anywhere else and the catalogues were works of art! Been a customer since the early '80s. VTC was my go-to for unique gifts!

  I have been a customer since they opened in **** and have never had a problem until Dec of 2022. I placed an order for $113.91 on 12/17/22. I received a confirmation email and have been waiting for items to no avail. I've checked the website and tried calling customer service but, the website is down and their phones have been discounted. I tried contacting them through their Amazon and **** store but they have shut those down as well so, there is NO way of contacting them. It is apparent that they are not going to ship the order that I was charged for. I would like my items or my money back! Looks like they closed up shop, took the money, and skipped off! Super unethical business practice!

  I have been searching for them and I too am disappointed that they did not give usual customers a good-bye. I know a few of you stated that you were owed items. This may be the culprit. I ordered from them one time and did not receive the items but it was only *****, so I did not worry about it; however, I got a message from the Postatl Inspector that an employee at the postal service was stealing items and they were prosecuting them. Folks we do not live in a world anymore where employees are honest and have work ethics. I will definately miss them but I know a lot of their items were bought from ***** due to packaging and now knowing that the shop is exclusively an Amazon store saddens me because I do not care for Amazon. He literally consumes small an local businesses. So sad.

  Same experience as everyone else here. Wondering what the heck happened and how to reach them. So apparently they went out of business? I can't leave a 1 star because they did have some beautiful things and I loved their catalogs. Very inspirational. However, I was surprised how poorly made some of their holiday items were for the price, worse than some things I bought at ********* and now I can't get a refund on my Christmas cards which never arrived. Oh well, things change.

  Customer of 25 years. Sad to see them go out of business. Phone disconnected and website gone. No warning. It was a unique catalog. Truly a shame
