  I have been a regular customer of ********************** for many years. I love this company for it sells products that are one of a kind. It is very sad to find out that they are out of business now, and they didnt even notify their customers. There was no goodbye. No warning. Last December, I placed two separate orders . One on early December which I received thankfully after Christmas, and this order cost a lot more than my second. But, the second and final order, I never received it. Every time I keep checking for my status of my order, I would see that it has not been shipped. Then, later, I couldnt even get into their website and they disappeared too on ********* I thought that maybe they were having technical difficulties or worse got hacked. I didnt even think of the other possibility because I have been ordering from them with absolutely no issue at all, and I was mostly satisfied. It was only this January that I decided to ****** and discovered that it went out of business. My final order was this beautiful black toaster with flowers on it and cat decorated oven mittens. Im relieved that at least my final order didnt cost as much as the first order I placed and that I have received after Christmas. Unfortunately, I have long deleted my receipt because I always trust this company. So, I have no proof to show. I dont know of any online store like Victorian Trading Company. To me, this is a beloved company and I will treasure everything that I have purchased from them, especially, on clearance since the late 90s.

  This store used to be good and items were of quality. Lately items have arrived broken, called to tell them, and they sent replacements which were broken in the same place. Only good thing was I didn't have to send the original back. They didn't even care and I wondered what was going on. Obviously clearing warehouse.

  Like many, I have ordered from them on and off over several years. I ordered two gifts December 17, got a response that they might be slow to arrive due to shipping delays, but now can't connect with them; their website is down and my email is unanswered.

  VTC: Your loyal customers, from years of business who have praised both your products and service well, deserve better. Its utterly rude for purchasing and paying customers to be left to wonder about their Christmas gift orders, their irretrievable paid funds now being lost even if your straits are dire! You should find SOME way in this ************* to reach out to customers owed merchandise and arrange credit refunds, as part of respectable close out negotiations if you are no longer in business. This is a dishonorable shift from a history of quality to ethical consumer neglect.. If you would choose to act on good principle and to rise above *************** of economic fallout and stress (if such is the plight of VTC) - tho this is probably a difficult time - there could probably be a better and more redemptive way for VTC to close out. Please respect your customers and exert that effort. Your Admin //Mngmnt could still reach out in apology. You would always be glad you did, if you would!! B in *****

  Victorian Trading Company is on the Amazon Web site. Thats where they are selling their merchandise now. Check with Amazon. Crazy , but true!! I have ordered from this company for many years and I am very disappointed they did not tell their customers that they sold out to Amazon. So sorry for all of you who lost money. Make a complaint. I was a lucky one, they refunded me a week after my order on December 17th.

  Sorry to hear they went out of business, apparently over the holidays 2022. This was my favorite catalogue. I hope they rally enough to have a sale on remaining merchandise and that everyone who ordered around the holidays receives their orders in good time.

  I have been a Victorian Trading Co. customer for at least 15 years and have always been satisfied with this Company. I realized lately that I had not heard from them lately, and that sent me a red flag. I had ordered many things before Christmas and had received everything.... even took care of a return purchase. I called all the numbers to find out why I haven't been receiving any ads but all numbers were discontinued....the website is down. It is like this wonderful Company just vanished from the face of the earth. It is all very sad. I really do hope that it resurrects and gets the help it needs to continue. It had a great appeal to all us many romantics out there. I give it four stars as I was lucky and received all my items before the shut down and am very satisfied.... I am sorry that it shut down.... and if it started up again I would be a happy customer. I am very sad that so many people were not as fortunate as I was. I only wish I had ordered even more items before the company closed. I hope they let former customer know if there is a huge closing sale!!!!!! **************

  I have always loved this company. Have been buying from them for years. I am sad to see what has happened lately to them. They are definitely going out of business I believe. I ordered items back around Halloween and had no problem. Wanted to buy for the Christmas sale but it was a couple days after and saw that no more orders were being taken. Since then I can not find their website. I will always think of them fondly and will miss buying really nice products from them in the future. Thank you. ****************

  Unlike many reviewers here, we never had a problem with Victorian Trading. We've been regular customers, especially at holidays, since the ****s. .Some Items had to be returned over the years but we received our refunds promptly. But over the past few days, their website has disappeared and their phones have been disconnected. There was no warning about going out of business--we just ordered a pair of gloves, received on time, for Christmas. But now VCT seems to have vanished. I Googled for any news of the company's closing, but found nothing. Does anyone know what happened?

  Ordered the stained glass spider web, poorly made and not only that the back is painted black so no light can filter through it. :(Not only that after I paid for my purchase it was probably 5 or 6weeks, and I get a notice from paypal that they got 4 more dollars for shipping. WHAT??? How was that even possible. I never got a response from an email I sent to them regarding this matter. ugh Beware, and stay away!!
