DO NOT RECOMMEND — Predatory Contracts & Poor Customer Service I regret ever signing up with EcoShield Pest Solutions. I was misled into a contract that was presented as flexible, but turned out to be rigid and predatory. I fulfilled my services, yet when I requested cancellation, they claimed I owed more — even though I had verbal confirmation from a rep that February was my last service. They conveniently sent a new version of the agreement after I asked to cancel, showing a May date I never agreed to. Their customer service is dishonest and manipulative. They claimed they tried calling me when I have no missed calls, then sent threatening invoices and false claims of attempts to reach out. Now they’re charging me $271 and threatening collections. This company is a nightmare — deceptive, greedy, and completely unethical. Stay far away unless you want to be locked in and harassed. I’ve filed a complaint with consumer protection and I’m warning everyone else. This isn’t just bad business — it’s shady business.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Do Not Use This Company Wish I could rate less than 1. Set up and charges were as others have explained, not a defined contract and expressed as cancel any time. Well, cancel with a $200 fee. The services provided were with chemical avalible at home depot, diluted with my own water from the outside hose and without my approval. In addition, the hose was not put back, it was left unspooled in my yard. The insect control was less than poor. My ortho home defense was far superior. The company is harassing with multiple calls and texts once dissatisfaction and not scheduling was expressed, 12 times in one day and 3 on a Sunday. And this was after I had spoken to the "owner" to explain my issues. I am hopeful this saves others from what I had to deal with.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Like everyone is saying, this company is a scam. They tricked me into signing this contract and promised the world, only to charge me $200 to spray a section of my house. Sprayed and left, no review or update or anything. They didnt even bother to get my correct email, just made sure money was able to be taken out of my account the moment they arrived. I tried cancelling and then they threw all these extra fees at me. I had to pay $200 to cancel or $600 to continue. Complete scam artists.EcoShield Pest Solutions

It is a scam. They are liars and cheats. I paid for 1 treatment. When the rep had me sign for my credit card payment, (on his phone) evidently I was signing a contract, which was not disclosed. They have been harassing me fo an additional payment if $271. After I already paid $205 for the 1 treatment that was not effective. I have canceled the service thru email, text and phone calls. A Salesperson came to my door explaining he was in the neighborhood , offering me a pest control solution. He was very engaging - while I was uncertain about the offer, he explained it would be a one time fee, and service would be provided over the summer. I don't recall signing a contract, and never received any written communication from company - I really emphasized not willing to pay for more than he asked at that time[ approximately -169 dollars] While reviewing my credit card I found out I was being charged more than I'd agreed to. When I called company the salesperson kept trying to appease me when I tried to cancel, I had to finally just hang up. I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company, and will keep trying to recover the cost.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Two young men came to our house and my husband agreed to one visit to help get rid of mice. A month later his credit card was charged another $219.00 without our consent for another application. When we called the 888 Boston number, a very aggressive woman refused to listen to our complaint. She began asking if we needed a discount and told us that we signed up for a yearly contract. She refused to engage in a conversation and interrupted often when we told her we did not believe we had a contract and if we did, please cancel it. I had to cancel our credit card for fear that they would charge us periodically. Apparently, we did not do our due diligence before hiring this scam company. I purchased a pest control program from a door-to-door Ecoshield salesman. He sold me a plan to address my 2nd-story wasps. When the serviceman arrived an hour later, he said he was not able to treat the 2nd-story wasps, that it was illegal for him to treat anything more than 3 feet off the ground. My request to cancel the service resulted in a reply that said there would be a service fee for cancelling. The person on the phone asked me to let another serviceman come treat my 2nd-story wasps, that the company is able to treat them and apologized for the misrepresentation. The same serviceman came to my house, reported that he was unable to treat the 2nd-story wasps, and left. I reached out to Ecoshield by phone and asked for a refund as the service I purchased was not provided. They refused to refund me reporting they were "unable to issue a refund." I still want a refund for services NOT provided.EcoShield Pest Solutions

Don't get sucked in like I did. this company are a bunch of scammer, i gave them a chance as im allergic to bees and they signed me up for a year contract when i asked for a 2 time chance. They begged me for a 2 time chance and i gave in, but they signed me up fir a year. they came for 10 minutes sprayed and left but gave me a list of sprays they used. This company uses deceptive sales practices to get a signed contract with A LOT of fine print not initially disclosed. I was hesitant to sign contract but was told I could cancel anytime including before the first appnt. The first appnt was scheduled and provided a time to be home for the interior spray. The day of appnt someone came to my house an hour earlier than scheduled. No one was home so they completed the exterior and left. I received a bill that day for the full service that was to include interior. I had to notify the company of the error and they rescheduled for the interior spray. Servicemen was not provided any details from the original consult and appeared lost. After the appnt I called to cancel services and was being pressured to retain service with lower and lower prices. I asked to complete cancelation and was told that would have a $200+ cancelation fee. I complained about the cancelation fee not being disclosed by the salesman. The phone attendant said they would do me a courtesy and not charge any additional fees. I received a bill for the cancelation later that day. The following day I received a collection call from the company. I plan on pursuing legal action.EcoShield Pest Solutions
