STRONGLY recommend The Medicare Coach (TMC).
With all the options available, TMC does all the research to find the best fit for my personal situation.
One mistake can be costly and with the small fee they charge, it is well worth the money for piece of mind.

I am so grateful I found Emily and the Medicare Coach! At the time, I was working in a stressful job and could not take on any more stress with dealing with Medicare so this was a real blessing! I could have probably done this year's Plan D on my own this year; however, I am unwilling to lose this feature as the future may not be as easy as this year! Thank you does not even begin to say how grateful I am for them! They are so easy to work with and I know they are working for me and not for Medicare or an insurance company.The Medicare Coach

Save yourself a lot of money and make an appointment with your local CMS branch to learn about Medicare and your options. They are well-informed and don't charge a fee. I'm sorry I didn't do this. We were in the midst of a pandemic and I didn't want to risk exposure. I decided to pay for the program with The Medicare Coach, which was online, informative and at the time, I felt it was money well spent to make such important decisions. The problem came when the agent they were using did not follow through with setting up my Medicare Part B plan selection. Sadly, I missed the deadline by the time I realized that he had dropped the ball. I'm healthy thankfully but when I required an excision for a skin lesion, I realized I was paying a lot out-of-pocket expenses. When I contacted The Medicare Coach, they acknowledged that there was a problem with that particular agent not following through and they were no longer associated with him. SH*T! Seems like someone should have notified me about this situation.
Ultimately, I had to go with a Medicare Advantage plan because that skin lesion was melanoma (stage 0) and disqualified me from underwriting for 3 years. At this point, it's unlikely that I will ever be able to switch back to original medicare. It's not the end of the world but it's definitely not the outcome I wanted.
At the very least, try your local CMS office first before shelling out hundreds of dollars...it's free information and service that most folks aren't even aware exists.The Medicare Coach

I joined a few years ago and am now getting ready to retire. I called 3 times before someone returned my call. An email was sent to me on 10/4, requesting information that was needed. I emailed them all the info requested that same day. I'm still waiting to hear from them - 11 days later.
No one ever answers the phone and it takes an act of Congress to get a return call or email.
I see nothing but 5-star reviews on this company. Sadly, my experience has been different.The Medicare Coach

Medicare Coach is like having a well-oiled Machine at your fingertips!!
I highly recommend The Medicare Coach team to everyone!
As we know the entire experience of making decisions for this life changing event can be overwhelming as you get inundated with numerous calls and brochures in the mail.
I was pleasantly surprised with the entire learning experience and the detail of which it was scheduled and delivered. You also are emailed the recording of these seminars for your knowledge base to refer back to as well when making decisions.
They were always friendly, knowledgeable & willing to help at every turn. If there was a conference call scheduled I could set my watch by it. They called exactly on time, every time.
My coach and team have been more than willing to entertain a call from me or email with me.
Just navigating all of the parts is stressful & then to be sure you make the correct decisions for each one adds more stress. Even with their help it's a lot to learn & keep up with.
That part has nothing to do with them, it’s the overall Medicare process itself.
Hiring them was a great decision, I can't imagine doing it without my Medicare coach.
A big thank you to my coach Calvin and each one of the Medicare Coach team members who assisted me.
I will definitely refer Medicare Coach to everyone I know.

I just read Cathy M.'s 8/8/24 review & I can honestly ditto every single thing she said. They were always friendly, knowledgeable & willing to help at every turn. I recommend The Medicare Coach to everyone! As I announced my retirement to my staff this week, my inbox was flooded with requests to remind them who I worked with to make my initial exposure to Medicare an easy experience. I have texted the link to The Medicare Coach to everyone!
Each question I have had for my personal coach has been answered in a timely fashion. She has been more than willing to entertain a call from me or email with me. She has offered to make calls for me. She recommends options and helps me make decisions. During a time of making choices about my future that I didn’t have the knowledge to make, my coach has known exactly what to do. She’s walked me through the process and then followed that up in writing so that I have something to refer back to.
I interviewed several services when I started my search for how to navigate Medicare. I needed someone with expertise, someone who could manage technology, someone who was personable, who understood that I am knowledgeable about all the things in my world, but on the topic of Medicare, I needed them to guide me and not let me down. The Medicare Coach was the perfect solution for me. I have gained so much confidence and knowledge working with my coach. I would retain this service all over again!
