      DO NOT GET GAP FROM MPP!!!!

      They refused to pay the full remaining balance after the insurance paid off their part because my vehicle was not “Dealer/Retail condition”. When I asked them what that means they told me because the interior wasn’t waxed and vacuumed they would not pay the full amount. My truck was in perfect condition, no scratches, no dents, no stains on interior. I got GAP to avoid having to pay if I got in an accident, AS THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME GAP WOULD COVER EVERYTHING INSURANCE DOES NOT. That was clearly a lie. I get hit by a kid running a red light and I’m now stuck making 2 truck payments. This should be illegal, MPP is a scam. Please seek GAP insurance through your lienholder or a trusted company. MPP is not a good company, as the MANY 1 star reviews will tell you. How they got an A+ from the BBB baffles me. They deserve an F.

      Worse company and even worst customer service. I called on 11/3/23 to cancel a gap insurance and it usually takes 24-48 hours to do so I just called 11/08 to make sure it was right and the rude woman that answered (unfortunately i didnt get her name) just said it hasnt been done and hung up the phone. If i could give them 0 stars I would

      Just completed a gap claim through MPP, and when I review my loan, I still had a balance. Funny because I was always explained that GAP paid off the remaining balance. When I call to ask why it wasn’t all paid off, they mentioned they had “exclusions” and one of them being they do NOT pay off any principal balance… oh is that right? So I get hit by someone running a red light? Im out a car, still stuck with the car payment while MPP decides to take their sweet time processing the claim, just to be left with ONE more payment. How lovely is that guys??? Would’ve been nice to know this information at the dealership or all the times I called MPP for updates. Horrible horrible horrible. Paid for GAP just to put out more money because of their exclusions. Scammers.

      Hello Ms. V******. We have read your review and believe there must be some misunderstanding. While all contracts have terms and conditions that include exclusions, we are puzzled by that you say you were told we do not payoff any principal balance. The principal balance is the starting factor in determining any GAP Debt Waiver amount to be waived. However, we were unable to locate any GAP Debt Waiver claim or Addendum under the name Alleen V******. If you were to provide additional information such as the name on the GAP Debt Waiver Addendum and last 6 digits of the vehicle identification number, we would gladly review the matter further.

      Frustrated that MPP warranty denied my claim (Silver Coverage) The adjuster justified that the component wasn't covered because it wasn't part of the engine. The dealership recommended service:Cylinder Head - Valve - Lifter / Lash Adjuster The Valve Lifter / Lash Adjuster allows for slight changes in the opening and closing of valves. In time these components begin to wear down, and adjusting them brings them back to the recommended specifications.Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the cylinder head valve lifter part of the engine?I canceled both my warranty and gap insurance coverage with MPP. They gladly accepted. I guess they figured they already drained enough money out of this fool. Save yourself a headache and money and go with a different company!

      I purchased the MPP warranty through Seminole Toyata when I bought out my lease in October 2022. I canceled with MPP in April 2023. My refund was less than I thought it should be so I went to the dealer and found out they had wrote me up with the wrong mileage when I bought the warranty. I have all the proof but I MPP is giving me the runaround and will not refund the rest of my money. This has been going on for months. I am getting so frustrated. The supervisor told me today that the dealer said the original mileage was correct. Im not sure who she talked to because the sales manager is waiting to hear back from MPP after sending the correct contract. I am so frustrated and have spent way too much time on this. Very poor customer service! Ive talked to several different people at MPP and have to re-explain everything to each person everyone says something different.

      This extra insurance really *****. They do not cover what is needed. And thats because I purchased the platinum package. And dont even cover what should be covered. Not cool. Not a good back up company. Completely ridiculous purchase.

      I needed a repair, on a differential on my Jeep wrangler. I was away from home and needed the repair done quickly. MPP has decided they will not cover due to not having the prior authorization. MPP warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.

      They wont replace the *** PTU on **** Edge. It has a leak so they say not broke and replace a gasket. **** recommends replace because it has ***** miles.I didn't read the fine print,if it is leaking, that is not failing and they will not pay. If anything has a gasket they say replace gasket not unit! Better look at fine print or different company.

      I cancelled my warranty on my RV in less than a year. They represent that they give you a pro-rated refund. They sent me two refund checks one cleared the other bounced. I talked to their customer service as well as ************** head of finance and provided copies of the returned deposit checks that had been issued by their Bank ***** Fargo. I even gave them the name of my banker and reference # who talked to ***** and confirmed they had not released the money. I sent at least 3 follow-up emails and even copied who I believe to be one of the ** Ops and CFO. Crickets is all I received back. They were not even professional enough to respond to me after many attempts on my part. Do not use MPP as they may rip you off as they did me, go somewhere else.*******

      ************** contacted our office on December 21, 2022 requesting the cancelation on the vehicle service agreement and ***************** agreement purchased on his RV. Those refunds were calculated on a pro-rata basis. Because ************** had purchased two separate products, the refund checks were separate for each product and sent to ************** on December 23, 2022. One check ************** deposited at his bank and the other he deposited by mobile deposit through a mobile phone app. Both checks cleared our bank on January 3, 2023. Around mid-February, ************** attempted to re-deposit the check that was initially deposited by the mobile phone app. That check was returned to him because the check had already been deposited into his account back in December 2022 and paid. ************** contacted our office complaining the check had "bounced". We explained to ************** that the check didn't bounce. He originally deposited that check back in December and he tried to deposit a check that had already been paid and cleared so it was returned. Contrary to what ************** states, we returned every call received by him and sent him documentation of the check being deposited into his bank and clearing. The check was endorsed by ************** when deposited by the mobile phone app and he still had possession of the check to try and re-deposit it at a later date. We requested ************** produce verification from his bank that the initial deposit was never received but have not seen that documentation. We advised ************** that if he suspects bank fraud, to initiate a bank fraud claim through his bank as bank fraud is a felony in the *****************. However, at this time, our records and documentation show the check was paid and deposited by **************.

      Because of a negative and a verbally abusive and demeaning conversation with *****************************, I was told my service contract with its dealership was voided. Immediately, l contacted MPP to cancel my paid contract with *********** because of their refusal to provide me with service. Instead of cancelling my service contract, the MPP customer service representative explained my dilemma to a high ranking company official who asked if l were interested in transferring my contract to another local ****** dealership and l was. With lightning speed, he transferred it to ********************** which also includes a $100.00 disappearing deductible!!! MPP will always be my extended warranty provider because this company truly is "The Best of the Best". Thank you very much for your exemplary customer service, as well as your sterling leadership and utmost concern for your customer's well-being and satisfaction.
