Jonathan M***** explained the process, got authorization for the work. Jonathan M***** Informed me that the source of the clog was in the main stack, located in the basement. LBA will be here tomorrow to inspect the pipe line with a camera to determine how far into the main cast iron pipe the clog goes.LBA Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing, Inc.

****** came out today to check all three of our furnaces. He was incredibly kind and very thorough in explaining what might cause us issues in the future as well as an immediate concern with one of them. 1 starSincerely sad to post this negative review of LBA as I've always liked using them in the past many years we've lived in the metro area for our plumbing and HVAC needs. Situation: *** Installed brand new HVAC central furnace and a/c units to replace 18 year old a/c and furnace in July of 2022. Have had no problems with the system through the first winter and now this summer. Fast forward one year. Using their service plan, at the first scheduled A/C and system check up here in late July of 2023, the nice/professional *** service tech informs us that the static pressure is too high and a supervisor would come out the next week to review the situation further. The supervisor came out and after his inspection, communicated that the static pressure of the system was basically 2 times too high for the 2 ton system they recommended and installed just one year before. Was told that the high static pressure would decrease the units' efficiency by up to 50% and greatly shorten the life of the system. To fix it, we needed new larger air intake and air output main ducts installed and to do so would cost us $7,655 more dollars. The existing duct work they attached the new system to a year before was too small. When I pushed back and said the error was theirs in the first place (we trusted them to know what they were doing when they sold us and installed the new units a year before) and if it really was a problem, they needed to fix it and make it right. They simply did not do it right the first time! It would have been an obvious detectable problem for the new units when they first sold and installed them. I had to repeatedly reach out to *** via text to get any response to my complaint and request and pretty much got the answer that the price they were giving us to fix the issue was the best they could/would do. I have since spoken with other HVAC specialists and found out that this is just bad business and borderline predatory business practice.Review fromLeslie R

*** solved my AC problem quickly, professionally and for a reasonable price. We have used a lot of HVAC companies over the years, but *** has earned my loyalty. 2 starsI have had a really bad experience with LBA and their salesman. They told me repeatedly that I would receive a rebate from ************* for purchasing a 16 seer A/C unit. That is what I bought a **** 16 SEER a/C unit. The salesman or the company did not put in an adequate matching Coil. Without my knowledge and that broughtvthe SEER down to 15. **** manufacturing said I met the requirement and should get a rebate of $400 from Evergy. As of this date I have received not one word from ***, which ****** said should make it right. They are not returning any type of communication. I sent Evergy the info about the **** manufacturer stated, they did not call me back, after that. I was most definitely counting on that money to pay partial payment on my real estate taxes. Last year was a really costly year on my home. I had to finance 80% of my income to have sewer work, electrical line damage, new hot water heater and new AC unit. I could not afford a new furnace right now unless I used food money. I am in a really bad situation. In Dec I have to finance my taxes to keep my home.Review fromDavid F

Great company and ***** and ***** were both great service techs; friendly, polite and professional. I called in the am and they were here that afternoon.They did exactly what was needed, did additional water testing at no charge and sent bids for any other services I may be interested in.I will always call this company for plumbing services.LBA Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing, Inc.
