Cox customer service is horrible. Talked to 6 people today. My bill was supposed to be lowered to $60 when I called 3/15 noticed my bill was not lowered. Went through chat got no help. Called a live person, transferred to another person Rhonda then transferred to manager Barbara then she accidentally hung up on me a didn’t call back. So called again so I am at an hour on the phone, spoke to another person Joshua then transferred to another person whom refused to transfer me to a manager. Sucks I am happy with the internet service but can get no help on billing. I was told 3/15/24 my bill would be lowered from $60 to $90 a month. Was not lowered. Went through so many hoops and did not get help. Cox is about to loose a loyal for many years customer!

I work from home to internet in vital part of my life at home, when I got cox they had constant outages, at one point one of they’re outages lasted two days, when I am experiencing outages I am unable to complete my work and it was causing issues at my workplace, putting me in a risky position at work, I was forced to find another internet provider that was more reliable. When I called to cancel they informed me I would need to bring the equipment in to UPS or a Cox store - in the past when I had to leave cox they had a tech come out for free to pick up their equipment- so when they informed me of this I was very put off. I had just missed a day of work due to the outages experienced the day before, I lost $200 worth of income for missing due to not having internet, and then when I finally call to disconnect they wanted me to spend more of my time and money on gas to return they’re equipment. I was on the phone with customer service for over 2hours trying to get someone to send a tech out to pick up they’re equipment, they refused and one of their representatives actually at one point hung up on me when I respectfully asked to speak to her manager about the issue. This entire experience was completely unacceptable. If there are other providers in your area, try to get with them instead of this horrible company!

Everyday at 3pm I get shut off and rebooted. Not sure why. But if you want TV or download speeds in the afternoon this is not a good service for you! They have a governor on your shit! A 30 day reviewed this. From an actual user.

I had a terrible experience trying to cancel my service. I struggled with unstable services and daily short outages, they would never help me. When I finally found an alternative service and called to cancel, they informed me that they needed 30 days notice, so I would be charge an extra month. I also have to bring the router to a UPS store to return it. If they pick it up it would be a $100 charge. Overall, the pricing for a business internet service is ridiculous, all while delivering unstable service and frequent outages.

My cox internet went out on 3/25. I made an appointment on 3/26 for the following day. The tech showed up and was very nice but told me the cables outside my condo were bad and he would refer it to their construction dept. I heard nothing back and called cust service on 4/1. Justin made another tech appointment for 4/2 even though I told him it was useless. The tech showed up and told me he could do nothing. He said they had tried to call me the previous week. I had no missed call or message. He said his supervisor said to keep my phone near and answer everything. No one called. I cancelled today and booked with AT&T wireless. No more Cox!!!!!!

They basically have a monopoly on the Arizona market and without competitors we as customers are stuck with probably the most inconsistent/low quality service of any internet provider. I have lived in several states for work thus had several different internet companies COX is the only service that you can expect outages 2/3rds of the time. They were disappointing in 2019 when i first moved here, disappointing when i left in 2023, they are equally disappointing upon my return a year and a half later. Definitely not a company I would recommend for people who work from home, gamers, people who stream movies/tv shows or have kids. Disappointed, however, not surprised.

If you have any other choice do not use cox. We have the most expensive package, we definitely do not get the amount they say. Outages constantly, unstable connections, disconnecting when trying to download but not while doing other things? Screams fishy. Disgusting business practices like high sales quota for MAINTENANCE workers. Absolutely horrendous customer service.

Great if you want to pay SLIGHTLY less than other ISP’s and experience average or sub par performance about 75% of the time. The other 25% is nothing but downtime for non fiber users. Fiber is decent if it’s even in your area, however even then be ready for the monthly outages that tend to last at bare minimum 5 hours if you’re lucky, some take up to 2 days for the internet to be stable again. Customer service is ok if you get ahold of the right tech, they’ll help you out as much as they can but can only do a few “checks” or “tests” and if either of those pass they’ll tell you everything’s working properly, just to give you hope before experiencing more issues. Not worth the price you pay unless fiber is in your area and you don’t mind monthly downtime.

Decided to switch due to increasing bills without increased use and poor customer service to find out the problem. At this time found that they were expecting equipment back we never got. They “forgave“ it once we asked for proof of whoever signed for it (since it was never sent) but I found out we’ve been getting changed $5 a month rental fee for equipment we never had which adds up to $180 over 3 years yhat they will not give back and effectivly stole from us.

Terrible company, they should really be ashamed. We had a family member pass away in their house, the entire contents of the house had to be destroyed due to biohazard safety issues. Every other company that we had equipment with that was lost gave sincere condolences and waived all equipment costs. Not Cox, they said pay us our $250 or we will send to collections and put a claim in on the estate. Classless company and the employees who handled it were no better.
