      Let me start by saying the sales pitch was great, 10/10 would've bought with the guy that showed up. I spent close to $11,000 on my system and installation, only to be told it costs me $700 a year to service it. None of which was discussed during the initial sales call. After going back and forth, the representative I spoke with says they only service my area every other Friday which does not work with my schedule. The lady said she can get an approval for a supervisor for a different day but it will be another $100 service charge. How is this considered good customer service or business practice. Makes me regret the entire purchase

      They pretended to be Lowe’s employees and ask you to fill out a gift card raffle entry form when you walk in the store. They then call you non stop from multiple numbers saying they plan to come to your house. Never authorized them to have my info. They call the most between 7-9pm which is annoying.

      The sales person was not truthful about what the installers would be able to do after we had told him we would not let them drill a hole in our quartz countertop. The sales rep said that would be no problem they would be able to install under the sink and attach it directly into our faucet. The installers soon said that would not be the case and they would have to come up with another solution. I was not home it was my husband and when they said they could tie it into our refrigerator then he was OK with the install. Well that didn't work because a few days later the water pressure was so low to the refrigerator it burned up the motor in our ice maker and we had to replace it and disconnect the line to the refrigerator per the repair mans advice. We called and told them because the install was not working like they said it would we wanted them to come get their system and remove it from our house. They said we signed a contract so they could not do that. We just want them to come remove the system and cancel the contract on grounds their rep told us false information to get us to agree to the install. If they had been able to install where we wanted it we would be good with it. The actual system is installed in a sink in our basement we never use other than to give our small dog a bath in. We don't need a water filtration system for dog bath water.

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the concerns raised by Mr. and Mrs. M*********. At Moore Water & Air, we value our customers and always strive to find reasonable solutions when concerns arise.
      The water treatment system was installed on May 28, 2024, after a thorough consultation. During that consultation, the customer expressed they did not want a hole drilled into their quartz countertop. Our sales representative acknowledged that and informed them that alternate installation options would be explored.
      At the time of installation, our technicians determined that tying into the existing faucet was not possible due to the faucet design. As an alternative, the technician proposed running the reverse osmosis (RO) line to the refrigerator upstairs. Mr. M********* approved this solution, and the system was successfully installed in the basement utility sink. The equipment included a reverse osmosis system with alkaline add-on, a refiner, and a refrigerator line.
      We did not receive any feedback or service requests until August 7, 2024, over two months after installation. At that time, the customer expressed concerns about water pressure to the refrigerator and damage to the ice maker. We immediately scheduled a technician visit and offered, at no cost, to:
      Install a booster pump to restore proper water pressure to the fridge
      Swap their soap pack with a free and clear starter pack
      Conduct a full system check and verify performance
      When our technician arrived, the customer refused all service and demanded the system be removed entirely. The technician verified the system was functioning properly, performed water testing, and documented the visit with photos and signatures. Unfortunately, we were not given the opportunity to address the issue.
      Despite the customer's refusal of service, we want to resolve this in good faith. We now offer a new solution that aligns with their original concern about drilling the countertop. We can provide a replacement kitchen faucet that includes a built-in RO spigot, eliminating the need for an additional drilled hole. We are happy to install this faucet at no cost to the customer to ensure they have filtered water at their kitchen sink as originally intended.
      While we are unable to remove the system after such a long period of use, we are still very much willing to work with the M*********s to ensure their satisfaction and address the installation concerns.

      Moore did a great job of responding to my worries that the system wasn't working properly after installation of our whole house water softener system.
      I called them a couple of times, and they responded in less than a day to each of my contacts, even though my fears turned out to be groundless. The price we paid was thousands less than we anticipated, and the end result is perfect. At this point, I can't say enough good things about this company.

      We purchased a system that a sales person came to our home and sold us with a 20 year warranty. We start having issues and then are told the warranty is only 5 years. The softener stops working all together so we call and they set an appointment 1 month out. That day comes and they have to reschedule and that’s another month out. Eventually when they do come we are told that it will be under warranty and we will not be charged for them coming out because of that. Well they don’t have the part for it and need to order it. They set an appointment for 2 weeks. They come with two parts, if it’s one of the two parts we will owe $72 for the part that is supposed to be under warranty. Oh and now we have to pay a service fee for them to come back out because THEY didn’t have the part the first time and they only have a 1 year warranty. I do not recommend the company at all. They are constantly changing information and the contract you sign when you purchase is extremely vague. Stay away from them if you can.

      We understand your concerns. As explained to you today when the office manager called, the warranty on labor covers the first year of service related to installation or manufacturing defects. Past the one year there is a labor fee of $100 for the first thirty minutes $25 for each additional fifteen minutes. Your equipment was installed in 2022, that is why the service fee applies. This was also discussed when scheduling on 03/19/2025. Since we did not have the part on 3/19/2025 we did waive this fee for you on that specific ticket. Today when we came out we did charge that fee since work was preformed and part was replaced.

      They came and installed our system today, and we are so happy!!! All the soap is fabulous, and the purifier is super nice! We had an old water softener and it had done it's due. So happy to be back up and running with a brand new system! The install was super quick, and he did a great job explaining everything! Thank you thank you!!

      Read the reviews and then just don’t choose Moore.
      I had TWO systems installed- one in my own home and another in the 2nd home on my property. I actually was very happy with the existing system in my own house but the second home had a rotten egg smell in the water. It had an adequate system for soft water but needed something for the smell. I fell for an approach in Lowe’s one day and had a quote done. I made an uninformed decision and had two systems installed. After reading current poor reviews I can tell my negative review on the overall experience and poor end result will only be met by denial. I called Feb 26 for assistance with continuing issues in the house with the softener AND drinking system. I was advised the warranties were recently out and there would be service charges. Two systems is a great deal of money / I should have read reviews and listened to my gut. So ..shoppers - just don’t choose Moore.
      Moore please don’t write a defense to my review stating all the reasons I am wrong and you are right. This is my first BBB review but I think they are to help inform folks as they make choices on providers of goods /services. This is only my opinion but reading responses that put blame on the customer doesn’t help either party.
      Moore please don’t contact me regarding the issue only to state my warranty is recently expired and there will be charges ( for an ongoing problem).
      Moore please stop contacting me to set up an appointment for the one house to “replace filters” I don’t want to spend over $300 a year to “keep my warranty in place” since apparently I don’t even have a warranty.
      Moore make an internal company goal to earn an A rating, In general happy customers don’t take time to write reviews but there are common threads in your negative ones - try to fix them.
      Customers who are in the market - - just don’t choose Moore until they are a 5.

      The AO Smith Specialized solutions AOE1054U unit which you own 2 of has the following warranty.

      Lifetime – Filtering Media and Media Tank

      10 Years – Brine Tank

      5 Years – Valve and Moving parts

      1 Year – all other parts.



      The AORO50 Reverse Osmosis which you own 1 of has a 5-year warranty on all parts.



      These are all warranties that are directly from the manufacturer, AO Smith and are clearly laid out in the owner’s manuals that were provided for you at the time of installation.



      Moore Water Treatment does offer a 1-year service warranty on installation and for any adjustments that need to be made within the 1st year on top of the manufacturer warranty.



      We take reviews seriously, both positive and negative, as they help us identify areas where we can improve. We will certainly review your case internally to ensure that we are addressing all customer concerns more effectively.

      Do Not Trust this Company!!!! They will sale you a great line, but don’t trust a word. It was supposed to take a couple hours to install, but the technician which we have no complaints about was at our house for almost 8 hours and after midnight. We had to purchase a $200 regulator on top of the $10,000 system. Our hot water has never been the same and takes forever to reach the destination. Even when you are still paying on the equipment they will charge you $100 service fee and still do nothing to improve the system.
