I had keyme program a new key for my **** **** and it did work for the most part but everyday got worse until my car wouldn't start at all and I was stranded I called them to see how much they would charge to reprogram my key and I didn't even get that far they remembered me and transferred me then the next *** told me he would have to call his manager and call me back after an hour I called again and the same thing, transferred me and they hung up on me so I called a third time and again transferred and he said he would walk down to his managers office and then he would call me back in a couple of minutes and had never called me back. I had to leave my car on the side of the road and at this point I don't know what I am going to do. My over all experience is -10.

I was charged $297 for 10 seconds of work. Not to mention the $40 service fee if you use a card to pay. Predatory pricing at its finest. I highly recommend giving your business to someone who will not take advantage of you in your time of need.

I locked myself out of my apartment at 5:45pm and called Keyme to help. They said they'd send a technician and he'd call me shortly. After an hour of waiting I called the customer service line and got hung up on four times. Finally at 8pm the locksmith showed up and said it was going to be 249 dollars to open my door which I had to pay because everywhere else was closed at that point. Then after the 5 minutes of work it took to open my door, I paid. When I got my receipt I was charged 389 dollars. I will never use Keyme again and highly suggest that no one uses Keyme because they will overcharge you and you'll have to wait over 2 hours to get service.

Charging over 300$ for a simple car unlock after stating in person a significantly lower number, customer service was argumentative and unhelpful in even trying to make things right. They have tons of negative reviews and when my review was made they gave me an email to contact them for customer help and it was not even a valid email.

Called this number off ******, thinking it was a local locksmith. The phone got directly connected to someone possibly from the ***********. Lots of background noise, like it is a big call center. The operator takes your info and says a technician will contact you shortly. The technician calls 5 minutes later and I tell him I'm locked out of my house and need a screen door opened. He says he will be at my location in 25 mins. Quoted me at $80 dollars, only if it's a simple lock. I needed one lock on a screen door picked, and that was it. So he gets there, and starts working. Within 10 minutes the door is picked. I said "so it's $80 right?" And at this point I realized he has a thick Russian accent. I can't even understand him. He finally writes the price on a generic locksmith receipt paper for $150 and $14 tax. So he wanted 164 dollars, more than double the agreed on price. So I complain and tell him this isn't good practice. He says how it's my fault I was locked out and makes rude remarks how I'm making a big deal about "10 dollars". In the end I told him I won't pay him $164. I could've easily got a local locksmith for $100 dollars. So, to avoid escalating the situation I paid him $150 dollars. Unbelievable that this character is showing up to unlock people's doors for what is supposed to be a reputable company. Do not use this company for a locksmith!

I did reach out to Keyme support. They took no credibility for setting me up with this certain technician. Instead, told me to contact the support of the company they are using to find technicians. I contacted KeyMe, and trusted them to help me with getting my door open. Why should I have to contact another company? KeyMe as a brand is using sketchy 3rd parties, and the consumer has no idea that this is happening, until it is too late. It's bad business when you won't even take credibility for sending sketchy characters to people's establishments.

Sketchy guy came out to unlock my door k*** Block and charge me $420. He was not friendly. He spoke maybe two or three words to me and I ended up selling his personal account. I was complaining about how expensive this was. The guy did not provide me a receipt. He didnt provide me with the work order and so I put in a complaint and management is refunding me not nearly enough to make this right. The customer service agent that this was escalated with seems to be taking my complaint personally and Id let her know that this is not a personal thing. Im just trying to make this right because I got ripped off. Shes rude. She talks over me and shes hung up on me twice. Do not go with this company!! There are plenty of companies that will do this for $100 or so.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called for their services on Friday. Worst decision Ive ever made. I was told they would have someone out within 30 minutes and that I would hear from someone before then to give me an eta. After 30 minutes I called to find out where someone was because I hadnt heard anything. They told me I was told wrong and that I would be an hour. I asked who was coming since I hadnt heard and they said they would call them to find out and call me back. When they called back I was told they couldnt get in touch with that person, but they left them a message to call me. Not okay. If they cant get in touch with them how am I supposed to know they were coming. Eventually they dispatched someone else because I guess they never got in touch with the person. I still had to wait over an hour and after I asked to speak with a supervisor, they could not get me in touch with anyone. I was told one would call. Of course no one ever called and I received an email saying I was charged the full amount. Not okay. So I called, spoke to a rude supervisor who told me the same stuff they told me Friday (which was all lies). And they claim they have a verified A+ rating on this site. More lies. They have a 1 out of 5 star rating on this site. Most unprofessional company *** ever dealt with.

If you start the process on a kiosk and hit cancel, it will offer you 20% off, if you continue and hit cancel, it will actually offer you another 10% discount which is absolutely absurd. That is heavily deceptive. The key I got was barely cut and even though I had gone a step further and created an account at the kiosk, no combination of order ID (the only thing on the packing is labeled MMID, ORDID (not the order ID hmm weird right) and email or phone number would get me a refund, and they dont even offer to recut it, just refund it. So, I see the game, make it difficult so no one can refund, and Im sure fight the refunds when someone does make it through. Do NOT use their kiosk and hopefully they will go out of business.

      Hello,

Thank you for your review. I would like to address a few of the issues presented here.

Order ID- Your order ID can be found on the receipt provided by text or email that was sent after the order was placed.

Offer to re-cuts- We typically do not offer this because your keys were cut based on the initial scan at the kiosk. It is likely you would receive keys that look similar based on the initial scan. We would recommend a second scan at the kiosk.

Refunds- We offer a way to reach customer support via our online form which can be found on the same page to request a refund. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Please reach out to us at ************** and we will be happy to look into this issue for you.
