      I bidded on some jewelry that said it was sterling and real gems and a ***** purse. All of these items are junk. The strap on the ***** purse is not leather. They are in Kentucky and so am I so I asked if I could pick the stuff up to save $40 in shipping cost. They said, we don't do pick up. I will never do business with this company. They order this cheap jewelry and make a killing auctioning it off. Scammers

      The ***** purse being described included 5 photos.  Nowhere did we indicate the strap was leather, I have no idea what the material is.  This is the description that we use, "Important information regarding luxury brand items: Please carefully review the photographs provided as these items are pre-owned and may exhibit varying degrees of wear. Due to the nature of these items, returns are not accepted. However, rest assured that all luxury brand items have undergone rigorous authentication checks and are guaranteed to be genuine."  

      Jewelry we sell is described with 100% accuracy and there is no claim "otherwise" - just a baseless claim that iti s "junk" that is not true.

      This customer has never made any contact with our company to voice any displeasure with anything, but anything that she is unhappy with she can return to us for a refund of bid price.  Of course future participation in our auctions will be restricted.

      I purchased 2 louis vuitton purses, advertised at authenticated. There is no way either of these purses have been authenticated or the person was blind that did it. The black Lot # : 76x - Louis Vuitton Wilshire MM Pom Damur Handbag - is sticky and the handles are peeling off.
      this is written in the description: Authenticity Guaranteed. This is a pre-owned genuine hand bang and will have varying degrees of wear from minimal to extensive, depending on preference. **********'
      I contacted hibid, they informed me i have to contact AJCA, i emailed the form on website because i have tried calling and they keep you on hold then say noone is available call back. Not able to leave a message.

      All of our handbags are authenticated by professional authenticators, and pass two different screenings.  While authentication is an art and not an exact science, we stand behind the authenticity of any item that we sell.  We do not typically allow returns on products sold at auction but this customer was given a return authorization.

      I purchased a gold US Mint coin on their site and the coin I recived was a counterfeit.
      Upon initial inspection, I could see a scratch on the Indian's face, revealing a different base metal. (See attached pictures)
      I tested it with my ***** ******** and got mixed results. Simply testing the middle of the coin was OK, but using the ***** **** showed it was not pure Gold around the edges. (See attached Pictures)
      I weighed the coin, which showed it was slightly overweight, showing closer to 32.2 Grams rather than the specified 31.105 grams.
      I then measured the coin using digital Calipers, which clearly showed it was far off the official specification.
      It measured .33MM0 - .56mm thick - the correct thickness is 2.95mm
      It measured 30.26MM - the correct Diameter is 32.0 mm.
      Finally, the coin has uneven and very sharp edges. The edges could indicate it could have been *** machined and not produced on a US Mint Press.
      I found the mass of the coin is 31.119 is above the mint-defined mass of 31.108g. (Picture attached)
      I measured the Thickness again at .56mm which is well under the mint-defined thickness of 2.95mm. (Picture attached)
      These values indicate the coin composition includes a heavier material than Gold if it is both smaller and heavier than a standard coin.

      This coin was obtained directly from a source from the United States Mint.  We have sold over 100,000 ounces of gold from this source and have never had a fake coin.  We do not source metals from individuals and only use the most trusted sources in the world.  Simply put, this coin may have some irregularities due to a planchet strike, but it is 100% authentic.  When talking about differences of less than one gram or 1 millimeter, the equipment used could also be an issue.  

      We allowed the customer to return this coin and receive a full refund, despite knowing the coin is good. That's really all we can do.

      On September 27th I purchased a set of diamond earrings for $720 plus auction fees and delivery that total over $850. After the items were not received. I emailed the company and they provided a tracking number which said the item is being held at " the local post office at customer request". I'm not sure what post office they're talking about and they are completely unwilling to help so either like my money back or them to find out where it is and deliver the package.

      This item was mailed in a timely manner and the tracking number was provided to the customer.  USPS is still in procession of this item, and it is at his local post office for pick up.  We are not USPS.   I  would advise contacting USPS and picking the package up.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The  items were sent weeks ago and if it is lost in the mail that is not my fault.. I've called multiple local post offices and they either say they don't have it or I have not heard a response so I have no idea where it is currently located. At this point I would just like my money back. The package has not been delivered and I'm still charged over $800. This is between the business and the post office, not me.

      I bought a bracelet that was described as 14 kt gold 7mm Tahitian Pearl 7" bracelet. I had it appraised at my local jewelry store & was informed that it was a fresh water pearl bracelet died to look like a Tahitian Pearl. I will make a note of this client so I don't buy from them again. This is false advertisement.

      Pearls are not outlined in our terms and conditions, however we do outline gemstones which would be the closest thing.  We do not dispute that the pearls are cultured and have had no contact with this buyer independently.  It was not sold as natural Tahitian pearls.

       COLORED STONES: Gemstones listed as "Genuine" or "Natural" are tested by Presidium Gem Testers and are guaranteed to have the chemical properties of a genuine gemstone. All colored gemstones are considered to have had treatments common in the marketplace such as heat, diffusion, lead glass and flux additives. 99.99% of all colored gemstones on the marketplace have had treatment. Colored gemstones without "Genuine" designation are untested and are considered to be synthetic, man-made or unknown in regards to the original origin of the stone. These stones cannot be warrantied and should be purchased for their aesthetic value.

      They sold me a lab created diamond ring that did not register as a diamond at a jewelry store machine that test diamonds. ADAM IN SUPPORT DECIDED TO CALL ME NAMES ON THE PHONE.

      Customer purchased a lab created diamond, which will test as a lab created diamond at any lab in the world.   I can't really respond to that, because it isn't possible, and the amount of confusion this customer has about diamond can not be rectified by us.  Customer returned the ring and we refunded it as a courtesy,

      Customer also has a poor pay history, and is not someone that we desire to do any future business with.
