This company is a complete scam! The Sales people baits you end with this fake protection plan and when you try to use it, you are on hold for hours and NO ONE answers the phone. I finally processed a claim on line with GENERIC damage codes that you HAVE to enter and then be told this claim is denied AND send you a copy of the policy! HELLO!! I have the policy, this is why I'm processing a claim! IF I cant talk to you and the codes are generic (maybe ease of system generating denial notices) how do you deny ANY claims? Since your Director of ************* states " due to COVID - we are short handed, please be nice to our agents" THUS real reason for the need of a systematic creation of generic codes to deny claims to free up your already short staff! I WILL never purchase this product again nor will I use ***'s furniture!!!

They will find any and all ways to deny your claim. If its a manufacturer defect it will be denied. If its a rip or tear like they say they cover they will not cover it. Wood chips on tables they will Not cover cause it has to be a specific reason on why it happened and you have to remember exactly what caused it. They are pure crap! Waste of money! Will never purchase from rooms to go or any where that has this c*** warranty place. Scammers!!

Firstly we did not choose to have this company service our home. We bought a home just a couple of weeks ago. A home that we cannot even get into because it is like an oven. When we looked at the home we were happy with the AC system. It worked no issues. After closing on August 12th it was still working as we were moving in on the 13th, and again on the 14th as we were moving still. During the week we were suppose to be at the home for our ISP to install our internet. We were at the home for 8 hours and no AC. We could not figure out why. We ended up calling a local HVAC company to come out and do a check. They came within the hour and spent an hour checking. News was that our compressor had gone bad and would not stay on these two technicians suggested replacing the whole system as the condenser may be bad as well and may have caused the issue. We called the OnPoint, and received differing stories. OnPoint worked to get a Technician to check the system out the week after this and the tech agreed with the initial techs report yes the whole system needs to be replaced.
We then were asked to take pictures for a man who had never been to the property. He stated that it was a preexisting condition and they cannot give us the amount to replace it. They have offered us $2500 to replace a $5,000 ish system, not including the labor to install it by a certified HVAC repair man. So we are looking at possibly a $7,000 bill.
My wife has gone toe to toe with them and they are claiming that they cannot pay anymore. We would be ok with just the cost of the System being replaced but they cannot do this apparently. They can only do the 2500. Leaving us already in the hole in another hole we cannot afford. around 4,500.
We just bought this home and cannot live in it. We are in NC and it is an oven in the house. I am not sure how these people are allowed to stay in business. They cannot even get me the contract for the warranty. This is utterly deplorable.

Hi Ryan. We looked into your case and our records show that you reached out on August 16, 2022, and was resolved on August 26, 2022. After diagnosing the issue with the AC system, we were able to process your reimbursement up to the limit of liability on your home warranty terms and conditions, which is $2,500. We apologize for the misunderstanding. The reimbursement amount is capped at the limit of liability in the terms and conditions.

You call them to listen to music. No one answers phone.
