      Tech Joshua k******** was very knowledgeable, he arrived as promised and worked quickly. He was very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone who needs keys made to give car keys express a call.

      They fail to abide by warranty. Bought 2 fobs at event in big store on 9/12/21 the fobs were not on hand & required to be shipped took a couple weeks to receive brought in for programming that weekend 10/2/21. Warranty is supposed to begin 30 days after the technician programsand be good for 3 years. Fobs should be under warranty til beginning of November 2024 based on this. One quit working several months ago and now the 2nd quit working correctly this month. They are refusing to abide by the warranty using an excuse they were purchased and paid for on 9/12/21. Do not purchase fobs from this company they are not built to last, I have had my deal fobs last far more than 2 years with no issues.

      Expense exceeds *** with the multiple drives and waits for service and still no key.
      Ordered at ******, key out of stock, told key would be mailed and to schedule an appt to program and cut key. Called to schedule and they told me it would be faster to go to another ******, and this ****** was further from my house.
      Waited in line at the second ******, retrieved my newly cut/programmed key only to go to my car and one of the buttons for the cargo door did not work on the new key. Tried my old key and it appears that the company de-programmed that one too. Went back to the service provider. He went back to the car and programmed the original key again, and then discovered that the key provided by Car Keys Express was the wrong key and did not have the capacity to raise the cargo door.
      The service provider said that they would mail me a new key and I would have to schedule another appt to cut and program the new key. I asked for the key they had just cut (that had the capacity to unlock and start my car), as I did not know them and they had my address, and he said I could have it if I paid for both that bad key and the new key they would mail. I declined to pay for the wrong key, he cut a notch in it so it would not open the door and said they would deprogram the buttons that could still open my car at a later time. I told him that policy was still unacceptable that they could access my car with that key and I was supposed to leave under these conditions. I asked what compensation for the inconvenience, he said none. I called the company to cancel my order, and tell them the policy was unacceptable, and they said they could not refund my money and invited me to go back to ****** to get a refund from them.
      I went to ****** a third time and waited in line. I got the refund. I have no key after hours into this. *** is more cost-effective with the waste of time, and fuel to drive to ****** three times.

      Wasted time and money. Waited 3 hours only to find out the key wouldn't fit. Said to return in a week for replacement. We're not present when returning. Also broke original car key in the process.

      Multiple trips to multiple ****** stores just to be told each time that my car key could not be copied—copy key had to special ordered, a “special cable” needed to program key not available, specially ordered key had the wrong model number. Customer service abysmal; called to request an email address to someone to whom I could communicate my frustrations. Been on hold for 32 minutes at the time of this writing.

      The positive reviews for this business are probably either from fake profiles or from people who got paid to say something positive about the company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Their products do not work. Their product instructions are useless. Technical support will not answer you to the point where customer support will have to transfer you to an individual. PLEASE skip the waste of time and take your business somewhere else.

      Like other complaints, the key showed up late, and by the time I got it, I had to drive 45 miles from home to have it cut and programmed (because they had since left the location where I originally purchased it). However, after they cut the key and told me to try it, they realized they couldn't program it to start the car and recommended I go to the dealership to have them program the key.
      I have no idea why ****** would partner with this company given my negative experience and their overall general customer review rating of a 2.72 out of 5.

      I had to mark a star but this company doesn't deserve a star
      I was at a warehouse and they said that they could make me a key in 15 minutes. I waited for the 15 minutes then they told me that they did not have the key in stock so they told me it would be 5 to 7 days before I would receive the key in the mail. I heard nothing from them. This is been over 15 days now I called the company and they told me it is on backorder. This is false advertisement that they are saying that what they can do when they are trying to sell a key from people I am now, waiting 30 days before I can do anything to receive my money back or if they receive the key

      This business is a sham! Customer service is non-existent. Each time I tried to phone customer service, the call was cut off. It would ring twice and then hang up. Every email attempt was met with no response. I purchased this replacement key while @ Costco. When I tried the key, it did not work. The tech "fixed" it and it seemed to work but not completely, the door lock feature was erratic. The key never worked again. Thankfully, Costco was happy to refund the purchase! If I had bought this elsewhere, I would still be trying to make contact with someone for a refund! Save yourself the frustration and do not purchase from this business!

      I have now tried using Car Keys Express twice now. Neither time worked. Last year I was at a wholesale store and they had a booth set up so I figured I'd try them. They had two possible key fobs for my make and model car. Of course the one I needed was the more expensive of the two and they didn't have it in stock. It wasn't going to show up any time soon so I gave up. Last month they were back so I went as far as buying the fob I needed. Again they didn't have any of the correct fobs on them so they ordered one. I was told it would take about a week and I have yet to see the fob. I hve called them several times now an they say it shipped but nothing yet.
