      I Bought a power reclining Sofa and love seat from BOB's ********* also bought Guardian protection plan for five years , That I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO WASTE THE MONEY and buy it ! It is a waste of money. when you file a claim then they will come up with excuses and tell you that the damage you reported is not eligible for coverage under your current plan,If you report that it was an accident IT IS NOT COVERED , if you report that it was NOT an accident IT IS STILL NOT COVERED , Also they stated that they will review your claim in **** business days , but actually it took them more than 2 weeks If they even review it , SCAM , I will make sure to add my review everywhere so people do not make the same mistake I did . they need to give me my money back!

      I purchased a couch and loveseat and purchased the 5 year protection plan for cleaning as many times as needed. (purchase date Jan, 26, 2019) I created a claim in 2021 and on Jan 6, 2022 I received a message that they received my claim and pictures. They also told me that they would get back in contact with me within a week. I never heard back from them. When you call the customer service number they put you on hold and never pick up. Based on the 798 complaints that have been reported to the BBB I am very surprised that their license Has not been pulled. Its very frustrated that you buy a plan trusting that the company will provide the service you paid for and they don't. *************************

      Cannot even put one star up. My Guardian journey started in June, multiple calls finally received a technician visit 7/6. He reported that he could not get the stain out of my couch and called it in to Guardian. Two weeks went by and I got on the web and they said case closed. I received no phone call from Guardian in reference to a reconciliation. Many, many phone calls to Guardian and no answer after waiting ***** minutes a call. Called Bobs furniture which wants nothing to do with the complaints they get from Guardian clients. Back on the website, 3 more requests for action and then your company wants to send out another technician. No reference to first visit or report. I agreed to get this done with and the company Square furniture repair. Never called me , never set up an appt. And their phone number ends with hanging up. I want my full $129.99 back and a new couch. I also put in a formal complaint to Bobs furniture that they should not do business with Guardian. I am also in touch with our local television station in ****** that helps out with client complaints.

      We purchased the extended warranty on our Couch and Loveseat from Ashley ********** We had a claim in 2021 & was handled relatively quickly. However, we had to file another claim in early July this year & the first technician they assigned for our work was out of *******. We live in *********. Our claim is not a minor ***air either. The cable to use the recliner snapped & essentially made one half of our couch stationary. The company from ******* called & told me they contacted Guardian about how we are out of their area & would not be doing the work. I felt that made a lot of sense considering they were out of *******. Guardian then assigned a second technician for our claim. This time, it was a business in the Carolina ***** I called *********** said they didn't even have our claim & wouldn't be traveling all the way to *********. I've tried contacting Guardian over the phone only to be on hold 45 minutes one time, 35 minutes the other without even speaking to anyone. Their supposed "live" chat did not provide any help either. I did reach out to Ashley ********* for help but they were trying to charge me for parts & a service call to fix the furniture. The Ashley *** said he would contact Guardian for us to help resolve the issue. We paid for an extended warranty but are left with a broken piece of *************** arms in the air searching for any kind of communication from Guardian. The last contact was July 27th. Judging by the comments, we won't be hearing from them again anytime soon.

      We bought the Guardian Protection Products Furniture Protection Plan from LazyBoy 2 years ago when we bought our couch . We wanted to keep our couch looking nice. We don't have any large significant stains, we just wanted our couch cleaned after 2 years of sitting on it.I first tried to call them and have someone come out, but NO ONE [absolutely No One !] answers their phones.. I know this as held on the line for over 45 minutes!I then filed a Claim online over a month ago which included pictures of our couch as they required in filing a claim...and only received 1 email [see below], asking that we send in pictures to complete our claim. I have now emailed them over 4 times with absolutely no results and no return emails so I am filing with the BBB against them.thank you,*********************** ONE & ONLY EMAIL BELOW-, RECEIVED FROM GUARDIAN PROTECTION On Jul 20, 2022, at 11:40 AM, claims:New Message New Message Received from Agent Dear : ******************* Guardian is reviewing your claim however we need clarification regarding the claim you filed on.You reported: We have had guest and stains have occurred by accident- usually liquids and one large stain -which we think was food 1. We need close up photos of all the stains.2. If facing the furniture, is it on the piece with the arm on the right or left? On that piece are the stains on the right, left or middle seat cushions?3. We need an overall photo of the Entire piece of furniture you are filing the claim on.4. We need An itemized copy of the receipt from the purchase of your furniture. Please ensure the receipt includes the purchase of the furniture as well as the protection plan.Please provide the above requested information by no later than 08/13/2022, to avoid permanent claim closure.To prevent any delay in the process

      I've spent over 5 months trying to get in contact with someone regarding my claim. The first response took 60 days where they denied my claim with no details as to why- even though it is explicitly covered in my plan documents. and I've been trying to reopen it ever since. But you can't get anyone on the phone, no response on the dozen emails, chatting with agents works- but they can't actually do anything and tell you to call. Hours and hours on hold for no one to ever answer the phone. Total waste of money. Please don't use them.
