      If I could give them a zero I would. I relocated to Va in September of 2020. Waited a while to purchase and when I did bought this 5 year warranty on my furniture. I purchased my furniture on 10/4/2020 from American freight and Im not a big person and barely sit on the couch. Yes my couch had a couple ***** but my main concern was after 2 years my couch looks like I bought it used. All Im asking is for my couch and ottoman to be replaced. The ottoman is broken as well. I called them over 10 times and finally got a robot on the phone because the person I spoke with acted like he didnt care, talked real robotic. I payed 200 for what and to cancel its a few really. This company is a big scam Im not sure they are still in business. My couches look so old I clean them and make sure they look decent but the lord of foam in the pillows looks awful. STAY ALL THE WAY AWAY FROM THIS PROTECTION PLAN

      After multiple attempts and MONTHS of waiting to seek support for a piece of furniture with structural flaws, was finally assigned a third-party tech to "fix" the item. The tech came, verbally confirmed the flaws and left without repairing. I was told I'd be contacted in a few days by Guardian to schedule an actual repair. Nearly two more months passed. After checking on my claim (again), I was told via email the tech submitted a report stating that nothing was wrong with my furniture. I called the third-party company to inquire about the discrepancy between what the tech told me in person and the report submitted to Guardian. Surprisingly, the agent I spoke to confirmed the tech's report DID actually describe damage and a recommendation that Guardian should release authorization for repair. I asked if I could have a copy of the report and was told Guardian doesn't allow the repair companies share that information with customers. I'm left to believe Guardian has terrible record-keeping or is intentionally dishonest with their customers. Given the many frustrations, I would not purchase one of their "warranties" again. If I could give less stars, I would. I have an expensive bed that is broken (and has been for MONTHS), and a warranty seemingly not even worth the paper it's written on. Run, don't walk!

      Guardian,This issue is not about the technician that inspected the furniture. Given information provided by his company, the tech did his job properly, documented the defects in his report, recommended appropriate repairs, and filed his report with his office. An agent from that office confirmed that the documentation indicated structural defects and included recommended solutions. I was informed the only thing they are waiting on is Guardian to release the approval to repair the furniture. The last response I had from Guardian was the comment to this thread in which Guardian tried to blame the tech and pass the responsibility for this service failure. Guardian's response is unacceptable. Again, I am requesting the repair and trust Guardian will approve and honor the request. This issue has been going on for too long and is still unresolved. As a customer, I have lost all trust in *******************************************. I hope the company will do the right thing and correct this frustrating situation. Thank you.

      I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing from Guardian Protection Products!!!! I also would NEVER recommend Guardian Protection Products. I purchased the Guardian Residential Furniture Plan when I bought my Sofa from ************ in **********, ********** on 3/9/2022. The Guardian Residential Furniture Plan was activated on 06/22/2022 (when my sofa was delivered to me). Unfortunately, a grease stain occurred on my new sofa about a month after the sofa was delivered to me. I immediately submitted the requested photos of the stain along with the receipt from ************ as directed on GPP's website. After not receiving a response or an update to my claim, I repeatedly tried to contact Guardian. By the way, it is virtually impossible to contact the company by phone. If you are actually patient enough to wait hours on the phone to get through to a live agent (which I did), the agent just tells you that they cannot help your with your claim and then refers you to their website. I contacted the GPP's website several times through their chat line. I was just told that my claim was under review. After the third or fourth attempt, I was told on 8/23/2022 that GPP did not receive my photos or receipt from Sunrise (even though I sent them on 7/21/2022) so I then resubmitted the photos and receipt directly to the chat representative who told me that they would provide to an agent to review and escalate my claim. On 9/15/2022, I was told that my claim had been submitted and that it was awaiting review. I never heard from the agent and then when I again reached out on 10/17/2022 I was told that GPP never received my receipt and that my claim is now closed. This company just makes the process so difficult fore the customer to even make a claim and then falsely states that they didn't receive the necessary documents so they can deny the claim!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

      First of all I cant 100% blame this company.. I was given false information from the furniture company and was told that the claim that I have made is not approved the rails on my son's bed have broken off due to entering and exiting the bed because of this it is due to wear and tear the bed is one year old I spent $500 on it and then another $150 for the warranty because I was told by the salesman that it will be replaceable and fixed if it was due to wear and tear or any accidents , I don't approve of this insurance company. *********************! ************ wont make it long. Scammers and hope they get shut down.

      I would NEVER recommend Guardian Protection Products. It has been a nightmare trying to contact anyone at Guardian to come clean our couch and ottoman (the main furniture we use). A child threw up on our furniture on September 17th ... it is now October 10th. We were told by ******* Furniture that we were not to try to clean it ourselves or it would void the warranty. So we sit here with barf on our furniture. I have emailed, called and used their chat option. They finally sent a tech out to look at the damage ... he didn't even clean it! He found more damage than I saw so he said he had to file another report and start the **************** again. Now I am getting zero response from GPP. We spent a lot of money on this furniture protection plan which has been useless when needed.

      **DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PROTECTION PLAN WITH ANY FURNITURE COMPANIES THAT USE THIS BUSINESS* (Guardian). I be mindful of using this company when purchasing a warranty. In November 2020, my husband and I purchased a sofa from Bobs Discount Furniture (Bobs) and opted to purchase Bobs Goof Proof 5 Year Warranty serviced by Guardian Furniture Protection Plan (Guardian). DONT PURCHASE THIS PROTECTION PLAN. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!!! We knew that **** defects warranty was good for one year from date of purchase and this was no longer a Bobs issue. We noticed in late August that the right arm on the sofa was becoming loose. Around the first week of September, we filed a claim with Guardian for the sofas right arm. Despite having a 5 year warranty and being within the parameters of the warranty, Guardian denied our claim and informed us that we had to file the claim within 30 days of the incident. Weve gone back and forth with Guardian via phone and email wanting to know why the claim was denied if we had a 5 year warranty. After their initial response that we need to file within 30 days of the incident, we have not had a response from Guardian. To add insult to injury, the left arm on the sofa is now becoming loose. Let me make it clear that there are no small children, teenagers or young adults in our household so no one has been jumping up and down on the sofa or sitting on the sofas arms. After this incident happened, we submitted a claim within 2 days, Guardian denied that claim as well. What in the world is it going to take for Guardian to honor the warranty that we paid for. It is obvious from Bobs website that we are not the first customers to have file claims with Guardian and been denied. I have been back and forth with ************************ and ****** all unprofessional and not responsive. AGAIN DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FURNITURE PROTECTION PLAN FROM GUARDIAN! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY.

      Bobs and guardian protection products are scammers. They are the lowest of the low. I received terrible furniture and paid hundreds for protection plan that I dont qualifyfor. I cant even get a representative on the phone to assist with an additional claim after 1st one was denied

      Total scam, I was approved and a tech was to call me. Been waiting months with no call. Have sent several emails with no response. Good luck on calling they won't answer. Disgusted with the company.

      i SHOULD OF READ THESE COMMENTS BEFORE HAND...I too bought a couch from BOBS and added this protection since I have kids. Bobs nor this protection plan want to fix or cover a separation on the seam of my sectional, due to it not being accidental. ITS A SEPERATION OF SEAM< apparently due to poor quality!!!! DEFINITELY A WASTE OF MY MONEY AND WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM OR PROTECTION PLAN AGAIN. This company is just after peoples money!!!!

      GPP is a scam. My home burned down 2 years after buying furniture. No one will call me back after hours and hours on hold. The stores cant even get them to return their own emails.
