      Horrific service, it took a month to get a dumpster for our business. Then, it's been two weeks and they haven't picked up the trash. If I ran my business this way, we would have no customers.

      We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused: this was an internal issue that have since resolved. Going forward data entry will reject any paperwork that isn't complete, and customer will be contacted immediately for resolution as to not delay delivery and service.

      I cancelled service through the website as directed by a message on their phone recording back a couple months ago due to their continual increases listed very small on their invoices with no advance notices. I had them set up on auto pay through my bank and did not catch it right away so they began charging fees. I did not agree with the additional fees but ultimately paid them. They keep charging me each month additional administrative fees each month. Ridiculous! I am now at $15 and got no where with the woman who finally answered my call. She insisted it was due. They charged me again an administrative fee for an account that has been cancelled for months. I guess they can’t keep customers so they are trying to make money through unfair practices like these. No wonder they are losing so many good customers in my area.

      We received no notice that their services were no longer available in our area - only after they picked up our trash can did we find that out. We paid 3 months in advance, now we won’t have service for two of them. They claim we’ll get a refund in 60-90 days. Additionally, we had to purchase a new trash can while we wait for our refund. The last several months, trash was picked up late and sometimes not all of the trash was emptied from the can. It’s been a horrible experience all the way around.

      The City of Onalaska has selected a different provider for waste management services and has informed its residents accordingly. The final collection date for this customer was April 24, after which the cart was taken away. Refunds for any prepaid accounts will be processed promptly. Live Oak regrets any inconvenience caused and appreciates your understanding.

      Well really aggravated with this company right now they are responsible for picking up our garbage and our pickup days are on Friday but ever since the holidays they have not been picking up our garbage right but yeah when we're a day late on our bill they penalize us meanwhile my whole street has overflowing garbage been sitting out there since Thursday evening this is getting ridiculous we have called the company and they say they will be here by the end of the day that's two days in a row now and we still have garbage overflowing in the cans at the street. Absolutely ridiculous!

      My last experience with Live Oak was on April 7, 2025, I tried to cancel my account service on April 1 with them. Called in and a spoke with a rep. and was told to put residential container out someone would be by within 5 days, so I did immediately. Three days later they came by and tried to pick up trash, not a container pickup. Then, April
      5, which was the weekend they ran a three-month charge through my account. So, on April 7, I call them back and spoke with another rep. She says on your account is cancelled, oh you need a refund, oh 135.00, I haven't even explained to her why I was calling. Asked to speak to a supervisor ask when I would be refunded the full amount of 140.41. Oh, we can't refund it directly back to your account we have to mail it and checks only go out twice a month, but we can't do that until someone come and picks the container up and signs off on it. So, LIVE OAK didn't cancel the account as I requested, then LIVE OAK didn't pick the container up, then Live Oak charged my account for a service I canceled now they refused to give me my money back with acceptable time. i do not think 30-45 day is acceptable time frame.

      The company Live Oak Environmental has inconsistent service that is frustrating considering we are picked up once a week. They need to be better!

      What a bunch of crooks. After paying the quoted rate for a 20 yard dumpster and billing the client as such, I got a bill for $300 additional a month later. When I called, I was told I had been misquoted. How is that my problem??? Now I have to eat that cost.
      $975 for an under weight 20 yard container for the agreed upon week? That's insane and I build all over the country. Contractors, do yourselves a favor and do not waste your time with this company, they'll rip you off like they did me.

      This business continues to practice sending out late invoices that is received at the due date and wants to charge late fees and invoice and admin fees. This process continues after service was cancelled because of their practice. Received an invoice December 18th due December 20th with a late fee added from October. Verified bank statement for October and was sent in time. No corrections have been made to our account to reflect a mistake per a representative stated. I paid the invoice through my bank on the 18th the same day the invoice was received and cancelled their service due to this and for the constant increase of services (Verifed bank statement, payment sent 18th electronically). Again, March 15th received an invoice for late fees for December 31st $5 dollars late fee and $5 invoice admin fee (15 days after the billing cycle printed on the invoice). I will not continue to pay late fees for this company's ways of thinking to continue to make a profit of a consumer that has a practice of paying before due dates. I have read complaints of this company for the same practice among other complaints and would never recommend their services to anyone. Looks like this practice is across the board with the different branches.

      The refuse to accept cash! The issue is they don’t tell you that on your bill and only tell you when you go by the office! I walked in to pay with cash and my cash was refused! They said card only! I went to use my card and they charged me a convenience fee of $12.00!!! After I was ready to pay cash!! This business is losing customers daily!

      Live Oak appreciates your comment, but we do not accept cash as it becomes a safety issue for our offices that collect payments. Customers can easily make payments at the office using checks, money orders or credit / debit.

      Live oak has went under fast they have very bad reviews and I just changed Dumpster company because they couldn't make up there mind if they were going to dump my Dumpster or skip us all together and the went up on there bill to 160.00 and then after you pay and they charge you for that it would be close to 170.00 and its way to expensive when they decide to not dumped and tell you that you will get a credit and they didnt give the credit but went up on price it's like they want you to get a different company
