This company is quickly becoming a monopoly. They’ve been busy buying out all the other trash companies in the areas they cover, which is allowing them to increase their prices to whatever they want. I paid $27 a month when I first started my service about 3 years ago. Now they’re charging $46 a month for one residential can once a week. They’ve gotten better with picking up when scheduled. It was horrible in the beginning. I just refuse to pay their price and cancelled my service, even though there is nobody else that services my area anymore. I now take it to a private individual down the road and he charges $2 a bag. I have about 6-8 bags a month. This company is only going to keep going up.Live Oak Environmental, LLC

Been with this company for two years now. My monthly bill started out at 27.69 and just got my monthly bill yesterday @ 42.59.
Price gouging or what? They surely don't lower our prices when inflation or the fuel prices drop. They keep the inflated rates at the higher rates just like every company in the world does to keep gouging us, the consumers for our money.
They might have a good profit margin.

Worst trash removal company I have dealt with. Paid for 3 months at a time. Missed my pick up half the time. Still have 2 months remaining and called to cancel, didn't refund me and didn't pick up my trash yet again today! Pitiful!!!Live Oak Environmental, LLC

Live Oak works diligently to service all customers to the best of our ability. Ms. ***** is on an automated side load route and we have requested that the carts be brought closer to the road (3 - 5 feet from the edge of the road) so that the truck is able to service the carts. As long as the carts remain on the fence-line, the automated side load truck cannot service these carts. The refund request form was completed on the day Ms. ***** called in to cancel and refunds can take up to 60 days to process. Live Oak has made strong attempts to work with Ms. ***** so that we can keep her as a customer.Review fromJames B

Shady business. Raising prices without notification then trying to to charge you for every article of trash they pickup. Piney Woods was so much better prior to Live Oak taking over.Live Oak Environmental, LLC

I have attempted to connect with the ***********, but was unable to speak with anyone. Our invoices have included the statement, "Due to rising costs, your next invoice may reflect a rate increase" and the most recent invoice states, "Due to rising costs, your current invoice reflects a price adjustment." The Broussard's are currently paying for a one-cart service and this is what Live Oak has been servicing. A competitor's cart has been being placed out (regularly) with the Live Oak cart that has not been recovered. I have left a voicemail for the *********** to call our office to see if they would like to increase their service to a two-cart pickup and receive a 2nd Live Oak cart.Review fromWayne R

Live Oak Environmental acquired Piney Woods Sanitation close to a year ago. Since that time, we have had numerous missed pickups, including 3 in the last six weeks. They have never given me a credit for the missed pickups. Last week, I sent emails to their online site to cancel service. I received no reply. Today I called to make sure they had cancelled service. The lady who answered told me I had to wait until the end of the month. I told her no, I am cancelling NOW.
Two incidents happened in the last couple weeks with the drivers. The first one three weeks ago, the truck stopped on the opposite side of the street with our container on the edge of our driveway on the normal pickup day (Tuesday). The container had been there since 10 pm the previous night. This was at 1;15pm on November 12 that the driver stopped. The truck stopped there for several minutes and then left without picking up the trash as I was walking to the end of the driveway to see what he was doing. I watched and noted the time. Today November 26, a truck stopped by the driveway at 5;15 PM. My wife noticed. I walked out to the driveway. I had not put trash out as we had contracted another service since I had cancelled Live Oak Environmental. As I approached; the truck took off. It went down the street and turned around. The truck then came back and slowed down and the driver leered out the window at me!
As a final note: Since October 10, I have called Live Oak Environmental Services 14 times! I have been thoroughly disappointed in their service. Or technically, lack thereof. I would recommend looking for another service.

This company charged the first quarter doing weekly pick ups now in the second quarter they do not pick up trash every week, they skip weeks for no reason calling to say trash will be picked up next day and failing to do so, they do not offer solutions to they inconsistencies, just empty promises. I totally regret having to deal with this company. We are located in Livingston Tx and now looking for another companyLive Oak Environmental, LLC

They didn't pick up my trash a week ago and it took 3 phone calls with an email to get them to pick up my trash . Now they didn't pick up this week and when I called the young lady stated that I was on the list for pick up today . This trash pick up is for a 90 yr elderly woman and I am handling her affairs .Live Oak Environmental, LLC

Live Oak worked well until they changed our pickup date. At that point they no longer picked up for 1 full month. Several calls, emails etc promised pickup in 24 hours. Didn't happen. I was told, in an email, that 1 month would be credited back to us. Didn't happen. I had payment set up on autopay. The payment went out before the matter was resolved. I requested reimbursement at the time I cancelled service. Nothing. Nor any reply from the man who was responding to my emails. Live Oak works diligently to provide the best customer experience for all customer. At the same time, we must also provide safety to our communities and employees. This customer was asked to bring their cart 3 - 5 feet away from the edge of the road, instead of keeping the cart up by their fence. They refused to do so. We have to ensure that our driver and loader are able to grab and go as the FM road this customer lives on is very busy. We are in the process of issuing a refund check for the unused months that were prepaid. Refunds can take up to 60 days to process.Review fromJody T

Live oak environmental bought out Piney ***** Sanitation and has missed my trash pickup two times. This last time happened Friday and called Monday at 8 am to inform them. I talked to ******* and she told me they have 24 hours to resolve once the notification goes in. So Tuesday at 8am I called to tell them my trash still wasnt picked up so the sent an email and said it would be escalated to management and VP. Tuesday at 5 pm I called back and *** told me actually they have until 9pm. Wednesday I call at 8 am and informed them my trash still hadnt been picked up and they said they would email management and I asked to speak to a manager. They said management didnt answer and would note for them to call me. I never received a call so I called ********* to possibly speak to some sort of management within the company to be told no one answered their phones. Wednesday evening I get a nasty note from the *** to have my trash removed off the road by Friday or I will receive a fine. Thursday I call at 8am this is the day before my usual Friday pickup and speak to ********* and she informs me that the dispatcher was suppose to call me on Wednesday and let me know when they will pick my trash. I never received the phone call that the dispatcher said she made to *********. I missed a call at 10am this morning with no voicemail left. I called back during my lunch break from work to once again reach no management. The numbers listed in ***** goes to a call center. All they can do is send emails to the company. You have no office nor direct number. I would not recommend this company as they evidently have no control over their people from dispatchers to management. The first thing this company did when it bought out piney ***** sanitation was shut down the local office and move all issues through email and these call centers. Cutting employment Im sure and not having to deal with local customers. Just another example of we want your money even if you dont get the service.Live Oak Environmental, LLC
