We bought our 5th wheel in January 24 at th Defuniak Springs location. The sales process was ok. We went to pick it up later and found several items broken or missing. Service department said we owe you these items. We will make it right. Today May 18 2024 we have not received any of the we owe you parts. After many attempts to resolve the issue through our salesman and service department we are very disappointed. Buyer be aware. ****** and ****** **** 2023 Keyston Fusion.

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the delay in receiving your parts. Of the four items we owe you; two of the items have been mailed to you, and one item is being drop shipped to you directly from the manufacturer. For the remaining item, the exterior trim, we will need you to provide a photo of the damaged area to *****************, as we currently do not have a one on file to assess what is needed for the repair.

We purchased a new class c from the Memphis location 1 month ago. Our pre inspection by Jason was rushed. Upon getting home with the unit, we discovered a ripped driver seat along with other cosmetic items. During our first trip 1 week later, discovered water leak, bent valve stems and other cosmetic issues. We were charged $1295 for a pre delivery inspection that was obviously not done. We also purchased the ceramic and upholstery protection which may not have been done since the tear in the seat would have been discovered if it had. Have it in for repairs now and are getting the runaround on the process of ordering parts for the repairs. Our salesman was wonderful. I should have known GARV is a problem when our salesman left to work for a competitor 4 weeks after our sale. Also, found out after the fact that Tennessee business tax was passed on to us, lumped in with sales tax, without any disclosure. Based on other reviews we have read, we are not optimistic that we will be having a good relationship with GARV. From now on, we will read the BBB reviews before purchasing. Our next unit will be purchased elsewhere. Sheila

We appreciate your honest feedback and apologize for the negative experience you had with us. We are currently waiting for two parts to arrive, and will contact you to bring in your unit once they arrive. As for the Business Tax, we have been working with our forms vendor to incorporate a separate line item since last September and hope to have this issue resolved shortly. For the second time GARV failed to send our Forever Warranty paperwork in on time. The first time was when they had our RV in for maintenance from 11/21/2021 until 3/24/2022 on which they were to do the maintenance before our due date of January 2022. They did the maintenance but did not turn in the paperwork to the Forever Warranty. I had a paper trail showing that GARV had our RV and show were we asked them to do the maintenance way before our anniversary date. GARV did not turn in the paperwork on time. Once again we took our RV in for the maintenance, GARV did the work but did not turn in the proof that the maintenance was done. Now our water pump is going out and it is not covered because GARV did not turn in the paper work to Forever Warranty showing we did the maintenance. On top of this most of the time if there is a repair they will tell us it is a Freightliner issue. We take it to Freightliner and they tell us it is a GARV issue. It is always a GARV issue. I am not sure what is going on with this company but they are costing their customers money and I will never buy another RV from them and will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else too.

Thank you for your review, we were able to ascertain that your warranty is still active. For future reference, please refer to your Service Contract under Maintenance Requirements, which outlines your responsibilities and requirements to keep your warranty active and to prevent it from becoming void. We look forward to working with you in the future.

      Sales Department = F-
      Service Department = A+
      Parts Department = B+
You do not succeed as a sales manager, nor get promoted into the position, by being an honest salesman. This is especially true when you meet *** *******, the sales manager at this branch.
Without writing a novel, *** sat 18-inches from me and looked into my eyes to tell me multiple service department employees were lying to me, all the while he was telling bald-face lies to my face. Service department employees can't stand him, as he tells lies about them.
*** promises the world but then refuses to deliver on those promises. After robbing me on my trade and making thousands off me on a new sale, he refused to have the service department perform required steps he had promised to me minutes before. "I'll have them help you Mr. ____. We will make this right for you." He calls the service department and tells them I can do it myself and he's not helping me at all if it costs him a dime.
Fast forward two days when I had to bring my camper back because of a water leak; I walk in to the dealership and check-in for my service appointment. *** looks directly at me so I wave and smile. He turns his nose up and never says a word. I come back to pick up my camper later that day and *** passes me three times, looks directly at me, and turns his head. He's within feet of me and turns his nose up.
Is this the type of person you want representing you in a deal? Is this the type of dealer you want to spends tens of thousands of dollars with? Had I not already have unloaded my trade-in and moved everything over, I'd have walked away because of this single individual that didn't learn how to tell the truth in grade school.
When an organization this size allows an individual to act like this, then I can't believe it's the first time they've seen this behavior. I'd dare to say they are overly aware of this adult acting in such a manner. The customer deserves better.

Buyers beware.. After your deal is done, if they owe you money for what they call “We Owe”, in my case reimbursement for service needed and authorized that I had to have done by outside vendors. On two different occasions, my reimbursement expense was delayed, delayed, delayed in excess of 30 days. It took constant emails, phone calls and texts to get reimbursed. Do your homework.

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had to wait longer than expected for your service reimbursements. According to our records, your first reimbursement was requested on Thursday Dec. 21, 2023, and cashed on Jan. 12, 2024, which is 13 business days and 21 calendar days. The second reimbursement was requested on Mar. 7, 2024, and cashed on Mar. 29, 2024, which is 15 business days and 21 calendar days. It is our understanding that your conversation with our Sales Director on March 28th went well, and you were content with his explanation of events. Thank you for your business and we look forward to your business in the future.

Your facts are not correct and misleading. Here are the actual facts with no spin on them with email confirmations in hand: Reimbursement 1 - Submitted 12/1/23 - Paid 1/12/24 - 42 days. Reimbursement 2 - Submitted 2/1/24 - Paid 3/29/24 - 56 days. Reimbursement 3 - Submitted 2/9/24 - Paid 3/29/24 - 48 days. As to the conversation on March 28th, don’t recall that happening. No further response needed, the facts speak for themselves.

We purchased an RV from them in 2020. While the sales experience was awesome, subsequent service has been abysmal! We were there in September 2023 with specific issues, told them we needed to plan around having rig in shop just prior to Thanksgiving 2023 as this is also our home and we needed to plan when we could be out of our home for a week. Many phone calls and emails went unanswered or we were given the runaround. Long story but after several weeks, we contacted our sales person to tell her the service department had lost a customer for her, after 6 weeks of no answers, the Service "manager" called to say he was looking into it, crickets since then. Meanwhile, we contacted another repair service in our hometown who does forever warranty work, had a quote within 24 hours on non-warranty work as well as a date for service where they agreed to pick up our rig, repair and return it to our site while we were away on a cruise. The forever warranty people called in the meantime to see if we wanted to cancel the claim with our local shop and use GARVSS, keep in mind, this was more than 8 weeks after our initial visit, as they had JUST received a claim from them! Seriously? There must be a reason they no longer offer forever warranty: it was either pulled by warranty company because of dissatisfied customers or they finally realized they were in over their heads as their service department stinks!

We apologize for your frustration with the extended warranty and
insurance process. According to our records, we followed up with you, via text
message, four times in the twelve days after you brought in your vehicle,
letting you know we were working with the warranty company to put together an
estimate. For your claim, the estimate required us to provide specific part
numbers that needed to be researched. If you have any further questions or
concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Company's response is inaccurate. They tried in the very beginning of this journey to help us but then it was crickets. Keep in mind, this started in September and only in late November did we hear from the service manager. It was only after I reached out to our sales person that someone responded. Even then, the ball was once again dropped and when I reached out to her again, the service department manager called apologizing and said he would look into it. He never followed up on his commitment to look into the situation. We received a call from the warranty company that a warranty claim had been filed by GARVSS meanwhile, we had already engaged another forever warranty shop. This transpired in late November, long after our visit to the shop in September. Don't blame Grand Design or other manufacturers if you can't get part numbers. If you sell a product, you have specs on all the units you sell and should be able to get a part number! If y'all want to stick your heads in the sand and pretend you don't have a problem, go ahead. Meanwhile, I feel for the unsuspecting customers who buy products from your store expecting there to be service after the sale.

Hello All, Anyone looking to buy a RV from GARV. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Dot every I and cross every T. I will share my experience shortly. I will never buy another RV from GARV. November of 2023 my wife and I purchased a New Keystone Avalanche. Part of the purchase you pay a manufacturer Prep fee of 750 dollars and you pay a dealer Prep fee of 750 dollars. The dealer Prep fee is for GARV to go through the RV to confirm everything is working correctly and the unit is cleaned inside & out upon taking delivery. Before purchasing we pointed out all the issues that needed to be addressed before taking delivery. They told us the prep fee would take care of all those issues. Also, They told us to please allow 2 hours for taking delivery because the tech will go through everything on the RV. So, We signed the agreement to take delivery a week later. Our appointment was set for 9 AM PICKUP ON A SAT. Upon arrival we started our orientation. As we went through the unit everything that we pointed out was not fixed . Also, the unit was not cleaned as promised. Let's just say the orientation was a failure on GARV. Finally, Around 6 pm we went into finalize the paperwork. We asked for a 750 dollar credit which they honored it. But, I believe they made that money back on their over priced extended warranty & ceramic coating. Fast Forward, We took our first camping trip on 1/13/24. It was very cold that weekend. In the 30's. The heater would not work. The day of delivery that step was missed because of all the other issues. After hours of tracing wires through the RV. I found an uncrimped wire that was exposed that led to activating the Furnace. So, I paid for the Manufacturer Prep fee that I feel never happened. Plus, It made it through GARV prep stage. Also, Please be aware of one of their selling features. 21 days of free camping with ***** ****** ********* What a joke. GOGGLE THEIR REVIEWS FOR ENTERTAINMENT!!

      GARV's
General Manager of the Hammond, LA store, *** *******, spoke with Mr. ******* about his experience to date, and we understand his frustrations with the
delivery process and that the furnace was not working at the time of
delivery.  GARV reimbursed Mr. ******* his $750 prep fee and we understand
he was complimentary of the technician  helping him thru the delivery
day.  We understand that everything is fine now, and he does not have any
current issues he needs help resolving. He thanked Mr. ******* for the call,
and we let him know to reach out with anything we could help with in the
      future.

My camper has been in for repairs for over 5 months. They called said it was ready for pickup. Arrive there as soon as I open the door I see a trim piece not even nailed in place. Then i look under the slide and wires are out of conduit and hanging so they told me they replaced the seal on top of slide which they didn’t replaced because I have the one on there marked. Slide is still sagging in the middle. I would not recommend taking your Rv in for any warranty or service work.

It is Great American RV Superstores ("GARV") understanding that Mr. ***** picked up his RV from GARV's Hammond, LA store on Saturday, January 20th, and that all repairs are complete. The trim at the entry door that had popped off was a slight bit too wide when installed at the time of manufacturing. It was explained to Mr. ***** that when the slide went out all the way, it hit the wall and popped off. GARV trimmed that piece down slightly, so it doesn’t hit the wall anymore. Now that Mr. ***** has his RV, he is welcome to contact service manager *** ******** at the Hammond store at ***** ******** ***** ***** *f there are any further questions or issues that need to be addressed.

Danger..we have owned our2022 Entegra since August of 2023 and it’s been in there shop for 3 months now. Our salesman will not return our calls and the service area just keeps giving us the run around…as always when you buy things salesman are there to help, but when you sign those papers beware of the warranty. James sure was nice when buying but he doesn’t care about us afterwards.. guess we should have read the reviews before buying

      Great
American RV Superstores (GARV) sold this pre-owned Entegra Anthem to ******** *** in August.   The RV had no remaining manufacturer's warranty, but
the customer purchased an extended service warranty through NAC.
NAC is a wholly separate company from GARV, which makes its own decisions
about whether a repair is covered under their policy or not.    The
process is to first diagnose the customer's repair complaints, identify parts
and their corresponding numbers needed, and submit the claim to NAC.
When NAC denied the claims, GARV decided as a goodwill gesture to cover
the repairs.  Purchase orders for the parts were approved, and the parts
recently arrived.  Service has just completed the repairs, which include:

      Shade at entry door

      Latch on front compartment door

      HDCMM power board for camera

      Roof inspection

      Shower head gaskets

      Rear bathroom window

Window latches behind recliner and sofa

The Production Manager is reviewing the repairs for
quality control, and once approved, GARV will contact the customer that repairs
are complete and schedule a pick up.

Do not buy from them, they sold us a used camper and when you do the walk through make sure you have them remove the access panels to check all pipes. Also check the roof idk how cause unless the camper has a ladder you can’t cause they don’t let you. Bought a camper from them said get the warranty well first camping trip water leaking cause 2 pipes are not connected this should have been caught when they supposedly did their inspection of the camper. So I make an appointment can’t get one until weeks later, finally I bring it in and they do a roof inspection said there is a few spots and sky light that is dry rotted so we think they going to take care of all this cause again this should have been caught before they sold it to use less then 2 months before. They said not their problem very rude people. Well the warranty said they not covering anything cause it’s less than 2 months. The warranty people said since it’s less than 2 months it’s great American problem, because their service/ inspection department didn’t do their job. So now we stuck with the warranty not paying for it and great American not honoring there mistake of not checking the camper from top to bottom or the plumbing. Horrible experience will never buy from them and horrible rude people.
