These are the issues that we have been having since purchasing the Brand New 2022 Heartland Bighorn fifth wheel in February 2023 and have been having other issues with it and the same reoccurring issues with shower leaking water coming from under the bottom of shower floor and also going under the bathroom sink as well. Water leaking from the door frames of the shower as well. The results of this caused the floor to rot & needed replacing. Kitchen sink was leaking on floor & had slow draining problems from the beginning and had to be fixed. One of the touchpad levelers didn't work from the beginning. Sofa needed readjusting a few times to hitting up against the window knob which could have led to a potential hole in the back of sofa. Toilet leaking on floor and needed replacing. Problems with the entry door & screen door not closing correctly, Refrigerator kept coming out of place during transit. This has caused the floor to rot, and they had to replace the floor. This is like the approx. the 6 or 7th time having to bring in for one same issue or other issues. Have been trying to resolve this fifth wheel as a possible lemon and need a resolution. We did get the full warranty on this unit but seemed to have spent most every month bringing it in the shop sometimes more than one time some months instead of making lasting family memories in it. This is a nightmare, and we are upset, frustrated, devastated and heartbroken.Great American RV Superstores

sent a technician out twice to your campsite this week to address the shower
leak. It was resealed Monday and we sent you a video of it not leaking,
but after you called Wednesday to say it was leaking again, we sent the technician
back out to dismantle the door frame and clean off all old sealant and reseal
the shower track again. That issue should be resolved.CLEOPHIES P

For the record; I am correcting the statement received from Great American RV Superstores (GARV) as follows:---Great American RV (GARV) sent a technician out twice to your campsite this week to address the shower leak. (Corrected Statement: GARV DID NOT send out a technician 2X'S---They only sent out 2 TECHNICIANS ONLY ONCE to the campsite WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2023 to fix the shower leak. This was only a 1X THING OR EXCEPTION. Thus far, The shower leak seems to be fixed and working properly. This has been only almost a week from Wednesday, but we remain hopeful.Review fromTatyana L

This business is absolutely outrageous. They lied to you that they have the unit you're looking for just to get you in and to push other unit on you, more expensive one, of course. I scheduled an appointment with them to see the RV I was looking to buy. I told them I was coming from OH, which is 1000 miles away. So when I was almost in Grand Bay, AL they called and informed me that that unit had been sold just 30 min ago. What a coincidence? And the buyer is the local one, just stoped by to get a loaf of bread and bought it right away. Considering this unit was posted for weeks. Of course, they pushed another unit on me, more expensive one. That is EXACTLY why they asked me, when I called them for the first time, what my requirements and if I was considering other units. What a bunch of liars. So now, you owe me, at the very least, price of fuel that I purchase to drive to AL for nothing, I'm not even talking about the car depreciation. Will be posting negative feedback on this dealer all over the web so people will know what to expect from them and decide if it worth their time and money to deal with them at all.Great American RV Superstores

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience. After some research into this situation, it appears that we had advertised a used Airstream motorhome for sale at our Grand Bay, AL location on our website in which you inquired with one of our sales outfitters via long-distance phone. At that time you indicated that you would be visiting family and/or conducting business in the area and wanted to physically inspect and drive the unit when in the area. An appointment was set, but you did not want to put a down payment on the unit in order to hold it in your name. The outfitter did remind you that the unit would still be advertised for sale and we could not hold it without a deposit.
On the morning of your appointment, another customer came into the store and agreed to buy the unit and paid their deposit. When the outfitter learned of this, he immediately contacted you and explained the unit was no longer available for sale. The outfitter also identified a similar Airstream in our inventory at another Great American RV location, but it was more expensive because it was 2 years newer. When you questioned whether the original unit was truly available or existed, and said the outfitter and sales manager lied, you were shown a copy of the other customer's work-up sheet to prove it was an actual deal. It’s unfortunate that another customer bought the same unit you were interested in buying, but without a deposit, we could not hold it as this was explained to you. bought a 2021 bullet from great american rv .they brought it to me.the 1st week water started leaking from both vents and both sides on the camper at the ceiling.they came out and put duck tape on the two vents and corked around the seams on the roof.one week later started raining and water was pouring out of the vents and where they corked on the roof.they sold me that trailer knowing it had concerns.the mananger told me that it had a life time warranty on the trailer.the floor feels like its fixing to fall in and the back of sthe trailer is the same way.i am 80 years old and fighting cancer for 30 years.all i want is to give me another trailer.Great American RV Superstores

After doing some research it looks like you purchased from our location in Hammond, LA in January 2021 on an “as-is” basis with no warranties.
At that time, it was noted that you had issues with your microwave and water heater, both of which were addressed at that time. Since then, we have not seen you back for service and an issue with water leaks was never brought to our attention as far as we can determine. However, we will be glad to diagnose the problem if you would like to schedule an appointment with our service department. Please know that if any repairs are needed, it would be “customer pay” since the unit was sold as-is and without any warranties.Review fromMona M

Saturday I spent with ***** who tried to sell me a 5 year old camper for new price with damage to the outside that they would not fix. I backed out. Tuesday the 4th of July I spent with will. He was an exceptional salesman, knew his products and was very helpful. When it came to the financial crew I was basically black balled because I spoke my mind on Saturday and told them there was no way I would pay new price for a 5 year old camper with damage that would not be repaired. They wasted my entire day and never even ran my credit, although they kept asking for more information. Do yourself a favor. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!! these people are not professionals.Great American RV Superstores

We were sold a camper under false pretense with a cash down payment. We never received a copy of the voided contract that was promised to us by *****. *** told us our down payment refund would take 7-10 days. We followed up on the process then was advised it takes 4-6 weeks. After seeking other reviews , I noticed this place is not reputable for its honesty. I will never recommend Great American RV to anyone looking for a camper.Great American RV Superstores

****** ******* did an impressive job of explaining everything on our Grand Design 373FB-R unit. He was knowledgeable in all aspects of the coach and its systems and I highly recommend him as a walk-thru specialist. I bought a 2022 Keystone Raptor from the Hattiesburg, MS dealership. The first red flag was the finance manager did not know the correct sales tax for my address and tried charging the incorrect amount and said if the sales tax was incorrect then we would be mailed the price difference. He finally called a third party after we argued this amount who agreed his amount was incorrect and it was eventually changed to the correct amount. The biggest problem I had was the following day after purchasing our camper, the dealership dropped the price on the remaining same camper by $8k. This was right after they told us they went to their president to get the best deal possible for us. These people are untruthful and pretty much told us “we got you” when we were made aware of the price drop the next day. I will never do business with them again and will encourage everyone I come in contact with to stay away from these dishonest people.Great American RV Superstores

My husband and I bought a 2022 Jaco motorhome last year in September. Service personal were to detail the unit and make sure everything was working properly. Due to weather when we picked the unit up a very quick show was given plus a written doc showing what needed to be fixed. We have had sever problems: camper flooding due to pipe not connected under sink, generator only runs for 20 minutes, frig doesn’t run off gas, water heater doesn’t run off gas or electric and TV non operational to name a few. Difficulty in contacting staff (major turn over) through text email and phone. Company appears to be not concerned after purchase is made.Great American RV Superstores
