I used this company to find a repair a gas leak in my home. The technicians were helpful and knowledgeable and the repair was made quickly. I had a problem, Chris contacted me immediately and it was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. To know that a company cares about its customer is invaluable!!! They have gained a repeat customer.

Very happy with the work by Stuart Services today on a full HVAC system replacement. Malik, Juan, and Caeleb worked quickly to get the 35 year old system out and the new one in. They showed up in time and all work completed today--I have working AC again! We ran into a problem but they worked with a supervisor to get it resolved. I am pleased with the work and will continue to use this company.

Called and asked for a site inspection to determine what was wrong and was quote $79. They arrived and did no work whatsoever, only to then tell me the $79 was just to show up. They then told me (in writing) we would need pay an additional $425 to have it actually diagnosed which "included small repairs". I get a message saying my capacitor needed to be replaced and that I would have to spend another $518 to replace it! I didn't accept the additional service as they hadn't provided yet provided the agreed service to do the small repair for the $425 as capacitor replacement is a small repair. Proof of this, the very next day I had another service provider come out and they installed brand new capacitor (with photos) PLUS gave a very thorough inspection which helped to identify other issues which they also fixed, all for nearly half the $425 + $79 I was charged by Stuart, producing nothing. Wait, I take that back...they sent me a photo a photo of the outside of the unit. I reached out to Stuart in 3 separate emails voicing my concerns. No response other than sending an invoice, a photo of the outside of the unit, and then automatically deducting the full amount. The invoice of course made no mention of doing small repairs, but the text message they sent to confirm prior to doing the $425 work clearly did. So in total, we are billed $500+ just to have them tell me they think the problem is the capacitor? As a consumer and multiple property owner with experience on home repairs, you can understand my concern here. I appreciate the last minute refund on $79, but this is simply not right. If you say in writing before the work was done that it is "including small repairs" you do not them and also provide no evidence of the actual diagnostic, that is consumer fraud. I'm willing to pay the $79 trip, but the the $425 should be refunded as the service was not rendered as written nor was any actual proof diagnostic work provided.

After buying a house we were slim on money and have to use credit cards to get things done around the house. My coworker recommended them because they were efficient. But our surprise came when they wanted to charge 425 diagnostic fee for each issue. This is absolutely absurd on top of the pricing we to fix a doorbell. They also quoted to install 2 $75 fans and wanted $500 each to install. I can usually do this myself, but I am pregnant and can't do any of this stuff anymore. I get companies have over head to pay for but if you would make your prices cheaper maybe you could get more customers. I work for an automotive dealer and our diagnostic fee for an entire vehicle and ANY issue is ****** then that cost goes towards the repairs. The technician had a problem with wanting to separate the quote like it was an issue. And wanted to argue with me about my ring device. I have installed many of these rings to a doorbell and haven't had any issues. Just because we are women and aren't electricians shouldn't mean anything. My wife's father was an electrician, and this is just not how you need to be treating people. Or charging people this absurd amount of money. Granted they let me cancel and refunded for half of the charges for the job but still had to pay the diagnostic fee. Doesnt even deserve 2 stars now.

The customer called for service on Friday 8/18/2023. An Electrician arrived at home at 3:06pm on Monday 8/21/2023 and worked for 3hrs and 29 minutes the customer had doorbell and 2 master bedroom outlets not working. The troubleshooting fee, given to the customer before work was started was $425 for the above-mentioned issues. Diagnostics can go towards repairs, but the customer declined repairs. On Thursday 8/24/2023, the customer called to complain about prices. When our Service Manager attempted to called to the customer, she hung up on him.

I would never recommend Stuart Services. They charged me $425 to show up and take pictures of the existing electrical. They sent a quote for $7,128 to replace a weatherhead, conduit, meter box, circuit breaker panel and wiring for 100amp service. This company absolutely tried to take advantage of me. I contacted two other electricians to look at the project and send me a quote. Neither one charged to inspect the existing electrical. The electrician who ended up replacing the electrical charged $1,312.

Thank you for your review. Im sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. We provide upfront estimates before work is started so that you can make the best decision for your home. This estimate that was given was to demo and move the equipment to another location, as well as file permits for the work.
