      They are claiming to be the same brown refrigeration that has served Memphis for years although they are now greenway heating and air and it caught me very off guard having a different company than the one I have trusted my whole life show up to my door.

      I have been a Doug’s Customer for years. I have been so displeased with their services but always hoped the next visit would be better. However, it only got drastically worse. The last visit was disaster! It took four visits to correct(?) one problem. One technician dripped sweat all over my house. Another asked for a ladder, wasp spray, a drink and didn’t have a clue about what he was here to do. The list goes on. I called for the manager way back in January, 2025, to describe my experience. After listening for a while he assured me I would get a refund. Never heard back. Called a month ago to talk to him and he told me he was on the road. Never heard back from him! Leadership starts at the top so this explains it all. What a total disaster! Would never recommend Doug’s to anyone. Other reviews express the same problems.

      Been sitting here in the heat my compressor blew up didn’t bring temporary solution just terrible. No return calls terrible service my wife and I have been left in the heat and we are over 65 years old just terrible what they have done to us after we paid thousands I have warranty of 10 years in only 3 failed not a 24 hr service I am so disappointed in this company that you can care less about your customers they made a very poor decision to leave us here in the heat when they are home in comfort not returning calls not coming up with an acceptable decision instead leaving us here in our house in summer with no ac

      We had issues with our old system and was told because it was an older model they no longer service it and we needed to look into replacing with a newer model to prevent the same issues from happening again and again. So they scheduled us a new appointment with someone else after waiting all day for the service guy to arrive to this initial meeting. Sales guy came and quoted prices for new systems $11000+-30000+. Got calls bright an early the next day to setup payments right away. Now I can or get anyone to call me back soon enough to come service this Brand new system they installed that is freezing. But anyway After selecting a unit they had to schedule yet another meeting to come install which literally took all of our Saturday time away, only for the system to start freezing after 5hrs when they left called the after-hours dispatch to tell me someone will reach out and didn't. Got a call Sunday someone will come and it had been hours waiting. And again another day all day at our home on a Sunday fixing the new system yet again. Only to be assured it would work this time and that they will send someone Monday for extra assurance to install a 2nd air intake vent. 5hours again the system freezing the home getting increasing hot again and it's 87+ outside as well. Call after-hours dispatch again to be told someone will call me and nothing all that evening. Called again Monday since someone was supposed to come out and was told someone was on the way at 8am. They did not show up until after 10a and again was here until 4p. I was assured for sure it will work this time and EVERYTHING was checked and nothing should freeze etc etc. We Called dispatch again and was told again someone will call. Nothing that night so I had to call again 8a. Told the same thing again. Hours gone by today, Tuesday and no call. Called again and was told they had a meeting someone will call and nothing again. Called an hour later and told he will call after he hangs up with another customer.

      Champion AC: called because system I bought from them wasn’t heating January 2025. First tech came out checked both systems; upstairs good; downstairs he looked at it; said it was working now
      System still wasn’t functioning properly a few days later. 2nd tech came in; after 2 days he couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it; brought in his boss; diagnosed it within 1 1/2 hours; charged $260 for the part. 2 installers came in a couple days later to install the part(s). A few days later the heater continued malfunctioning in the same way; called Champion again to complain about this and the tardiness of their employees by hours

      He came in for a few hours and diagnosed it. That was back in February 2025. They didn’t have the part my HVAC needed, so they ordered it . 4-6 weeks max he said. I asked how will I know if it’s fixed if the weather won’t drop down again until next year. He said it’s right because he’s never wrong.
      called Champion 4-8-2025; asked to speak to Lance. He was in a mtg, never called back as she said he would. Secretary said part should come in 1 day, 2 max. Got a call 3 days later; secretary said part not in. Coming in next week but we scheduled the installation. Lance never called.
      Someone dropped the ball over there. The service has been amateur; it seems someone forgot to order the part needed to fix my heater because 6+ weeks is long enough for the part to come in, especially when it’s within the company—just at a different location.
      I do not recommend Champion AC for purchasing HVAC or for their HVAC services. I cannot even determine if it is fixed properly because I won't use the heater again until winter.

      Think Twice Before Using Willard Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing
      I had a very disappointing experience with Willard’s $14.95/month maintenance plan. After paying for two years, I finally scheduled a visit, and things went downhill fast.
      First visit: A technician came out, inspected my system, and immediately recommended replacing it. Oddly enough, after he left, my Nest thermostat stopped working.
      Second visit: I called them back, and after the second technician left, my HVAC system wasn’t working at all. Later, I found out that the technician had broken my HVAC breaker. I was then quoted $800 to fix it. When I questioned this, I was met with resistance and even had it suggested that I could have broken it myself—which makes no sense, since my system was working fine before they came.
      Third visit: Another technician came and called his boss, who refused to fix the breaker for free, hinting that a recent storm might have caused the issue—even though I never lost power. Eventually, the technician rigged the system by switching breakers to make it temporarily work. He even implied that he would help me fix it properly if I didn’t write a review, which I found concerning.
      In the end, I had to pay $800+ to get the issue properly repaired. I even had Nest data proving my system worked fine until the exact day they came, yet they still refused to take responsibility.
      In my opinion, this maintenance plan is just a way to get into your home and push expensive repairs. If you choose to use them, I highly recommend being present for every step and double-checking their work. I wish I had gone with a different company.

      Kayne ********* arrived at the scheduled time was very polite and very professional. He did the required service on my Generac generator, checking all fluid levels, making sure that the generator was running properly, He was very knowledgeable at his craft and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Shockwave has been taken care of my generator for the last three or four years and have never had any complaints about their service work or the people that work for them.

      They say their tech will do a “tune up” but if coming and looking (not diagnosing) your AC and Heater is a tune up, these are your guys. No actual tuning up is included in the price. They take a bunch of pictures, tell you outrageous prices and then try to tell you with their membership there’s savings. I have their membership, and there’s absolutely no savings. In my experience, their business practices are deceiving. I was told that after they leaked my pressure out, I needed to pay to have the pressure fixed. The unit is 2 years old and we get regular maintenance. I wouldn’t walk, but I’d run away from these guys.

      I explained what I wanted done but they explained what I needed done and it was good sound advice. They delivered exactly what they promised. Everything was explained and priced prior to start of job. I appreciated their knowledge and professionalism and actually learned a few things along the way
