      Called Southern Air to service air conditioner, James ******** was the technician who arrived on time. Checked out my unit and compressor and was told all was good. Not only did he take time to look and check what he should have i received before he cleaned and after pictures that he took care of. He was truly knowledgeable and a great attitude. He also gave me some pointer's that i didn't know they did.......Plumbing!!!!!! I was so impressed with this young man that i took out their membership they offer, even more saving's. Thank you southern air for all you do and for the staff you carry, you have my business for life.

      ****** was very professional and explained things clearly. We appreciated the fact that Lochridge Priest was able to send someone so quickly. ****** did an outstanding job in identifying our problem and explaining our options. We are very satisfied with the service.

      They are charging $169 per pound of refrigerant for an HVAC unit when other companies charge $65-$80. I was desperate to get my AC working this week and Bud Anderson was the only company able to come out same day. I honestly believe they are price gouging their customers that are desperate to live in a comfortable space.

      We are very sorry to hear about your experience with us and we regret when any customer is displeased with any aspect of their service experience with us. We stand behind the transparency of our pricing for approval before any work is started along with 100% satisfaction or your money back. We are a flat-rate company, which means our time and material are all built into the price of the repair (in this case $169/lb on refrigerant) so that labor is not added on top of that. Many companies charge the $65-80 for refrigerant, as you mentioned, but then add labor on top. We are happy to discuss more should you choose to call us to discuss. Thank you!

      Willard Technician Circuit Board Misdiagnosed.

      Darrell **** misdiagnosed and would have over charged me $800. Luckily I had the feeling to get a 2nd opinion. Darrell said my circuit board was bad and that the motor may be bad, but he didn't think so but to order in case. The quote was to replace the circuit board being the main objective to repair the downstairs unit and as a side piece to order the motor just in case something may be wrong with it. He wanted to charge $400 in labor for each component stating it was labor-intensive. It wasn't the circuit board it was the motor of which I had it replaced with another AC company at no charge. Because the motor was not only covered for parts it was covered for labor. And the labor was not intensive it took 22 minutes to remove and replace. The circuit board is in perfect condition. This orice was also with supposedly a "membership discount". I can not recommend this AC company due to what I feel is poor quality of knowledge, tools for diagnosing, dishonesty and extremely high pricing.

      Air Tech of Katy, LLC has failed us twice in the last six months on two homes we own in Cinco Ranch, Katy, Texas. 1) Home No# 1 had the HVAC stop working for summer. Air Tech of Katy drove out and indicated the solution was an entire new HVAC system for just under $14,000. They diagnosed three components bad: * Compressor * Fan Motor * Capacitor. We called another company which found that, contrary to Air Tech's diagnosis, the only thing that was wrong was a wire eaten by rodents. The wire was replaced and the HVAC system has been working all summer without issue. 2) Home No#2 - The technician from Air Tech of Katy arrived and attempted providing a diagnosis before actual testing of unit (simply after listening to our description of HVAC failure). His original untested diagnosis that being eith "to replace the fan motor and capacitor or preferably replace the entire HVAC unit ranging between $13,000 and $22,000. After asking him if he was now going to test his theory, yes he did in fact go to the outside unit, take it apart and test. He returned with the very exact diagnosis he had anticipated. His exact words were "The capacitor is bad and needs replacing, and the fan motor is dead" He went further to replace the capacitor to further determine if the fan motor would work with a new capacitor. He said it did not work even after putting in new capacitor. We asked him to remove the new capacitor and that we would get another diagnosis. We chose to request a second alternate analysis from another company. When that company arrived, they opened the outside unit to find that the Air Tech of Katy Technician HAD DISCONNECTED the power WIREs to the FAN MOTOR so it would not work. I was there to witness that discovery. They agreed that the capacitor had failed. They simply replaced the capacitor and connected the fan motor wires (which had been intentionally disconnected) and the entire system worked fine and has been famously good for two days since.

      TechnicianJose ******* did a great job. Took the time to help me try to connect to the Trane app. Spectrum WiFi too slow but at least now I can try to connect to the app. I am very happy with Champion AC. Job well done!!

      He was very professional and very thorough when checking our geo thermal units.He was also real good about letting us know what was wrong and what we needed to do next.He is the reason going forward we will continue using LPI for our AC needs.
