Upon seeing my solar meter was not registering I called Posigen last week. I was told they were aware on April 17th the system was not working. Since that call I have spoken to 3 different customer reps, two ***** and ***** trying to help, including the last one today ***** was disrespectful, dismissive and said you know if your car broke it might stay broke for a year, and we have ****** customers and we can't take care of everyone. I am low income, 73 yrs. old and when Posigen does not fix their system I get a whopping Entergy bill. If I hadn't called I would be paying both Posigen and Entergy and Posigen would just let the system be broken. I am asking that the system be fixed this week. That I get a call when they are coming. They did defer the payment for *** to the end of the lease. I know things break but they must report it to the customer, and then give ** a timely date for its repair. I am being reimbursed for my April payment, but I am now told it will be weeks more before anyone can come to fix this. No date. This causes stress, financial hardship and many hours spent calling Posigen back. They keep advertising for more customers and don't care about their existing ones. I have noticed a discrepancy with payments/balance on my Posigen account. The statements are very difficult to understand, but I make a payment of 65.00 each month when billed.On my invoice dated 9/13/2022, I had a contract balance of $8841.93. On my invoice dated 10/19/22, I have been credited for the 65.00 payment, but my contract balance increased to $9037.50, an increase of $195.57. My balance increased even though I am ahead on payments. There are no late charges or any other valid reasons for this increase to my contract balance. I have called Posigen regarding this matter, but they could not or would not give me an explanation for this increase. My contact balance should be decreased each month, not once. All of my current balances are based on this incorrect increased balance.
I have been told that they will look into the matter, but it will take time because billing is handled in China, and on another occasion, that billing was handled in India. It’s obvious Posigen cannot justify this increase and Posigen cannot even explain to me their difficult to understand statements.
I do not know access to all of my previous statements, so I don’t know if this increase has been imposed before on my previous balances.
I need this $195.57 subtracted from my balance. Also my solar system is working is working fine now, and I need assurance that my system will not be sabotaged or compromised because of this complaint,Business Response

In December Posigen declared that everything was ready and started billing me. Job is still not finished and they are not responding to emails or phone calls. The solar panels have been on my roof now collecting electricity for Posigen for all this time and I still have to pay Entergy. I want Posigen to pay me what I have paid to Entergy since the job was finished.Business Response

My Solar panels where installed about 2 years ago , ever since the panels have been installed Ive been having water leaks in my home. Ive contacted PosiGen several times and the 1 st time they came out they agreed that the solar panels where causing the leak and so did my insurance company but they never fixed the problem . The second I contacted them they sent someone out and said that it was my roof . My roof never leaked until panels where put up. They worked on the panels and just put some glue on it and it didnt fix the problem . I contacted them the 3rd time and they changed the issue to its my window leaking . I hired someone to come look at my roof and they confirmed that its the solar panel causing the leak which they took pics of the glue that Posigen put on there and did not fix the issue . Im making payments to this company and they refuse to come fix the problem theyve caused . *** tried contacting them and they said my case was closed and theres nothing they can do. I want to file this complaint due to the facts that they caused the problem and refuse to fix it.Business Response

PosiGen installed a roof November 2021 April 2022 the roof was leaking with 1 leak I called them no one came or called back September 2022 I had 3 active leaks I called again called again ...no call back or visit Called again March 2023 spoke to several people ,several people called me back several promise to send some one out . On 3/28/23 They finally sent a of crew of non English speaking men and woman with a ***** tag and neither had any form of ID the white van had no form of logo .After they left I told the Posigen Director that I will not allow them in my home bc I didn't feel safe .They told me some one would come the morning of the 3/29/23.NoOne Came .They told me some one would come that evening from 3-4 pm No one came .This entire encounter has been a disaster. They are hiring subcontractors that are not English speakers which leads me to believe they are not illegal. They also want give me the name of the people who worked on my house the first time which is ALL A BIT SUSPECT TO ME. I need this matter resolved asap .Initial Complaint

Promised I would save money, but never did. Ignored my calls, finally came to inspect equipment and found that it was not working properly and never came back or contacted me to let me know what they were going to do to fix problems. I am a 74-year-old social security recipient on a very tight budget, and I installed a solar panel to lower my energy bills. Unfortunately, the panel stopped working, and I am now burdened with a bill of $400 plus. Despite contacting your company repeatedly over the past weeks, I have not received any assistance. Instead, I have been given the run-around and subjected to excuses.A technician from the state energy company and also one from your own company has confirmed that the panel was not working, but your company has continued to send me bills. This issue has been ongoing for over six months, causing significant distress and making it extremely difficult for me to manage my finances. As a senior citizen, I have found it especially challenging to navigate your company's customer service system, with the representatives showing a lack of concern for my situation and lack of respect.I am deeply troubled about this situation, as I cannot afford to pay such a high bill, and I am in need of urgent assistance. The delay in fixing the panel has caused me undue stress and financial hardship. I implore you to take immediate action to rectify this issue and provide me with a lower bill. NO customer service whatsoever!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! One of the products they use to build their panels is defective. The manufacturer, Solar Edge, refuses to ship the parts to fix it. PosiGen CLAIMS they have no control over this but it is THEIR client. I am paying a FULL electric bill (about twice what it should be) AND a useless solar lease. They won't help with the monies and threaten late charges if I don't pay for their useless solar panels on time. I'm attaching my contract. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The issue is that they won't ship the part. I found out this morning that ********* is involved in a class action lawsuit and has been asked to remove its products from the market. I will be attaching that link to this email. AGAIN, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SHIP THIS FEBRUARY 22. Then, they were shipping it on March 8, after "escalating it". THEN they were supposed to ship it on March 14. A tracking number is no good if there's nothing being shipped - all the tracking number says is "label created". I still have all of these texts messages AND a voice mail where I was lied to. Fix it or remove the panels. The contract states that PosiGen is responsible for all repairs and maintenance. Do your job and fix it or take them off my house so I can get them from a reputable company.
I was also told I had to fill out some paperwork to defer payments on this JUNK. That also was not done.
This is NOT resolved and I am NOT happy.
I will be contacting an attorney if this is not resolved by April 15. This is a breach of contract.

My solar panels were install Nov 2022, after 1 year waiting to be installed. It worked for 1 month and than it stop working for 4 months, I been calling every month to come and fix them and nobody every comes or calls me from the office up here. I had leased panels installed on my roof in late 2020 and have yet to receive any benefit in savings. Currently their customer portal shows that the panels are generating ZERO kWh as of the last two months but I still receive a bill from this company every month in addition to what I am paying Entergy. It took months of calls and emails to get a technician out to allegedly replace a faulty meter and a year later there is still no resolution. Ive called during business hours and receive a message saying that they are closed. Ive emailed agents with my energy bills and receive no reply. At this point I should be billing these thieves for storing their useless panels on my roof. The City of New Orleans should sever ties with this fraudulent company currently recommended by the Solar for All program the city promotes.Business Response
