    I had made a purchase at Hotwire through Befrugal, that should've earned me a cash back of $109.01. Befrugal has delayed and never paid me that cash back, and citing pending investigation every time I contacted them, for a total of three times spanning over 7 months. There had been no progress in their investigation whatsoever and they had yet paid me the cash back.

    it has been 14 month since BeFrugal initiated the inquiry and theres not progress whatsoever. The lack of action is unacceptable. The $109 credit posted to my account does nothing as its pending and cannot be redeemed or transferred out. BeFrugal needs to take immediate action and reimburse for the missing cashback.

    I have four pending investigation, transactions for cash back that have been pending for 5 months to almost 2 years. I have reached out to customer service and they are passively waiting to hear back from the retailer. They are not doing any investigation on their side actively. There needs to be a maximum time past, so that customers like myself are not waiting this long.

    Today, 11/7/2023, I filed a ticket (#VIXL-8134) with Befrugal stating: Subject: Account Questions "I had access to my account and cash back before ****** stopped the ability to use ****** accounts to sign into sites. Now when I login I don't have any cash back, can't view my profile, and I don't receive any texts regarding 2 factor authentication among other things. What's going on with Befrugal?     I only have 1 account in my name and email address. It seems BeFrugal is making false statements about a lot of peoples accounts with them. Its ok though. I had already figured nothing was going to come out of filing a complaint seeing as the many complaints seems unresolved anyway. Ill just wait until theres some sort of class action lawsuit or whatever.

Its not even about the cash back anymore, its the principal that BeFrugal has this history of swindling peoples cash back bonuses. You **** and Ill never recommend anyone to this company.     Been a customer for a number of years. Within the last month or so, Company has been scrutinizing every purchase of mine by failing to provide automatic cash back and requesting me to submit email confirmations of my orders. Even after providing proof of purchase, the Company denies cash back. They provide a list of reasons they claim might prevent a customer from receiving cash back, but I know I haven't done any wrongdoing on my end. Last cash back denied was on 9/15/23 when I purchased an expensive washer and dryer from ********** with 1.5% cash back. The Company again denied the cash back sending me another long stupid list of things I may have done to void the cash back. After wasting so much of my time dealing with this Company and their cash back restrictions, I do not plan on remaining a customer. This greedy Company steals cash back from unsuspecting customers while gaslighting them into thinking that they did something wrong. Interestingly, I don't have any trouble receiving cash back on my purchases from their competitor, Rakuten.

    I sent the following message to Befrugal through their website.  I will consider this matter resolved upon receipt of the $30.98 cash back owed.  I am waiting a response from the Company.  

    "I currently have a BBB complaint pending. I am requesting payout of the remaining Cashback which is $30.98. Once I receive it you will be authorized to deactivate my account." 

    The Company is not authorized to close my account until I am paid the $30.98.  The amount needs to be deposited into my checking account, as has been customary in the past.

    I made a purchase through BeFrugal to Groupon on 11/26/2022. The company claims I only spent $9.40, however, my receipt from Groupon shows I spent $19.40. I have contacted BeFrugal and according to my account ************* it states "pending investigation", so therefore I cannot withdraw the $1.55 rebate that I have earned. I don't know what else I can do because this "pending investigation" has been over six months. Please help. Thank you in advance.

    I fully understand that you need to wait for the business, however, since Groupon is a legitimate company I would expect that you would get an answer by now.  It has been over six months (purchased made on November 26, 2022), I shopped through your website, as well as, have sent you the proof of my purchase.  I would expect that you would expedite this situation and provide reasonable customer service.  

    I don't know why there is a delay and please let me know if there is something I need to do so that I can use the $1.55 I have earned according to the terms you stated when I made my purchase on November 26, 2022.  I would like to use the $1.55 I have earned as soon as possible.

    I made a purchase through BeFrugal from Target July 5, 2022 for a sub total of $52.48. I've made many attempts by sending the appropriate information to BeFrugal, to collect my rebate. BeFrugal had the initial posting, so they know it was done correctly through their application. They claim that Target will not pay their commision, so I cannot collect. My argument with that is, that should be between them and Target, not me. I used their service correctly, and fulfilled my requirements, now it should be their argument with Target. If what I purchased had some sort of "exclusion" then that was never presented prior to my purchase, and should have been, and then BeFrugal would not have the information to begin with. At this point, it's the principle, and not the money. BeFrugal needs to stand behind their service and do a better job advocating for their customers. There seems to be some discrepancy with the purchase dates, but the order number is the same.Thank you.******

    I have written to BeFrugal many times and my last correspondence was on 6/15/2023. I keep being told that "To date, we have not heard back from the retailer regarding this appeal. Once we hear back, we'll let you know." I have called Total *********** and they told me that BeFrugal needs to issue the rebate. After making 2 purchases (5/19 and 6/14) BeFrugal states "We have recorded your shopping trip If you made a purchase, Cash Back will be added to your BeFrugal account today. 3% Cash Back" I have made the purchases and this has been going on for over a month and I am not getting what the company promised. For my purchase on 5/19 I am supposed to get .96 (spent $31.98), plus, a "$3 bonus for spending over $25 between May 18 and 21." As for my 6/14 purchase, I am supposed to get $4.50 (spent $149.88).In the past I have received my rebate from BeFrugal when I made a purchase at Total *********** and I don't know why they are not continuing to provide the rebate that they advertise.Thank you for your help.

    First, thank you for adding the 96 cents.  In the past I received my rebate from Total Wine & More as promised - "We have recorded your shopping trip If you made a purchase, Cash Back will be added to your BeFrugal account today. 3% Cash Back"  I don't know why there needs to be any inquiry since I have made, as well as, picked up these purchases.  Please add the other promised rebates for my purchase on 6/14 ($4.50), plus, the "$3 bonus for making at least a $25 purchase between May 18th and May 21st."

    For the additional sale mentioned on 6/14/23 please submit through the BeFrugal ticketing system a copy of the order confirmation.  If you do not see the sale tracked through your BeFrugal account from 6/14/23 you will need to open a ticket and submit the order confirmation.  Once we have that information we can post and adjustment to your account and open an inquiry with the retailer for the cash back.

    Regarding the $0.96 adjustment that will lock within your BeFrugal account once approved by the retailer.  As of today the cash back is waiting for retailer approval.

    Thank you for the .96, however, I don't know why I am not also getting the $3 bonus since I made a purchase of at least $25 during the dates you specified in your email.

    Also, my purchase of 6/14 is listed in my history (14-Jun-2023 4:48PM Total Wine & More Terms 681-451-867), and once again, you state if a purchase has been made the rebate will be posted in your account later that day.  The purchase was made and picked up, however, I have not received my rebate.

    I don't know what has happened but in the past, there was never this type of problem with Total Wine & More.  I will submit an inquiry, however, I sure hope that I get a positive resolution, rather than the standard form letter.

    I had an account on ********************** that I have created using an Apple ID. After requesting a payout for ~$5 of cashback, they have requested more information and afterwards deactivated my account. When contacting them using the ticket system, they refuse to provide more information other than it was terminated due to the violation of the Terms of Service. I strongly suspect it was because of the legal information I provided.

    I have created an account using Apple ID and the email that Apple gave to the account is *********************************************************. I find it unreasonable to suspend an account and withhold the cashback payment just because of an technical issue linking the account, as it is clearly evident the account youve found in your systems has no transactions at all.

    Per review of the account *********************************** the transactions on the account were identified as fraudulent activity.  Due to fraudulent transactions on the account **********************'s terms and conditions were broken.  This also included the additional duplicate accounts creating duplicate sign up bonus.  


    As outlined in the terms and conditions agreement termination of any account without notice can be made at BeFrugal's discretion.   Also as noted in the terms and conditions agreement there is a single account requirement.
