Iron Mountain is completely unreliable and continue to bill for services never rendered. **************** seems to be located in the ***********. They never answer the phone and never replied to emails except to send surveys.Iron Mountain

We canceled them due to there add on costs. We had 11 bins and our last monthly charge was $1600.00. Our agreement auto renewed so we will pay the $2000 plus termination fee. We bought in house shredders at less than one year of their "service". Buy your own shredder and save money.Iron Mountain

I do not recommend using Iron Mountain. We have been trying to cancel our service for over 6 months. We were told we were unable to change the contract without paying balance of the contract. Yet they kept changing the price at every pick up. How can they change the contract without notifying a customer and yet we can't. Our office sent a certified letter in June ********************************************** October 2024. Guess what...they showed up at our office today for a pick up. When I told the driver we didn't renew our contract I got an email stating they rescheduled me for November. Do not use them!Iron Mountain

This would be a 0 star review if that was an option. HIGHLY recommend you don't use this company. We sold our business and transferred our account to the new owner so their would be no delay in service. HOWEVER, Iron Mountain kept our payment information on file and processed autopayments repeatedly for 2 years, despite the fact that all of our information was suppose to be removed. They also made duplicate charges where they charged both us and the new owner. We tried to work with the company to get our money back , but they insisted that they would only return duplicate charges. They refused to reimburse all of the wrongful charges. The level of incompetence is insane. The headache you have to deal with is not worth it, I highly recommend you go somewhere else. We worked with them for 7 months to get the duplicate charges reimbursed and they refused to send us a check. Instead, they kept trying to reimburse the new owner even though we explained over 10 times that the card they kept trying to reimburse was not ours. THEN they told us that we would have to try and get the money from the new owner, eventhough they were the ones who made the mistake. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT use Iron Mountain!Iron Mountain

I have been trying to get into our companies account for over 2 weeks now for both billing & for services. We have boxes that need to be stored & we need to be able to get into schedule *************** invoices. Our team is made up of a lot of new people & no one knows who has access to the account. I was able to get an email to complete an ******************************************** & have it signed by the vice president. I also sent it with all of his information in case they had any questions. I have not heard back & then I received an email yesterday saying that no one has heard from me & that they can't proceed with our case. I have sent & replied to multiple ********** just did another chat a little while ago & was told that I haven't replied to any emails & no emails have been received by me which there is no way for that to be true. I'm not sure what else to do at this point but I really am not getting anywhere & we really need to get in for access to place orders, see our ************* invoices.Iron Mountain

DO NOT use Iron Mountain for your document storage needs. The worst company to deal with ever! I have never seen this level of incompetence in my life! Currently on their bundled services plan, requested unbundled pricing over 1 month ago and ***** is able to provide me with pricing. You call customer service and NOONE can tell you what their fees are, all while continually increasing their bundled pricing for mediocre services. I am in shock!!Iron Mountain

1 star because there is no 0 star option. This is one of the top 3 worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. They trap you with year-long autorenewal clauses, do not notify you of price increases before they happen (they say it's on a November or December bill but I haven't found where). They increase the prices for the same services by $20-$30 per year. Occasionally they randomly add extra charges for items already included in the monthly fees and if you don't catch them, they will just keep doing it. They have "withdrawal" fees AND "retrieval" fees AND "handling" fees for each cubic foot of an item. They send you overdue notices of nonpayment when there are credits on your account to cover the amounts due because their systems must be trash. Their pricing is not available on their website, on their management system portal, or on any invoice. When we requested a pricing schedule it took them a week to send it to us.We are now trying to cancel, and they told us it would take 2-3 business days for a cost estimate to cancel; it took over a week. Then it took another week for them to generate the invoice for the quote. Then although we paid it immediately, we got harassing emails from 2 different **** and a phone call demanding payment. Then we were told it would take 2-3 business days for the payment to show up in their system and then they would start processing the closure. They also want to charge us for the rest of the year for services we don't want or use because of their auto-renewal clause, and also want over $600 just to destroy 10 boxes and return 15 more. They literally hold your documents for ******, obscure their pricing, and constantly overcharge. Their customer service is appallingly incompetent and no issue is resolved with fewer than 3 calls or emails. For closure, it has been tens of calls and emails.Iron Mountain

We are a big company and dealt with them for almost 24yrs. It took months for us to get rid of them. This company is a monster. They use foreign workers for their customer service. Cheap labour but they charged their customer humongous amount of money. I dealt with one of the executive escalations/customer advocacy (Not really customer advocacy). It didn't go well. I ended up yelling at this person because she doesn't understand my point. Very poor accounting. I love when she said she's been doing it for 10yrs of service. Yes, bad service. I strongly recommend to use small company or other business rather than them. DO your research as well. You will not be happy dealing with them. They are monster. Our monthly charges from them was $600 to $800. Every month it changes because they put extra charges. Our new shredding service right now, we only pay $230.Do not have them store your files as they will charge you big time. Protect yourself from this monster! Protect your piece.Iron Mountain

This company put me and a lot of fellow coworkers in such a financial bind. We were told for months that we had enough work to last us at least 2 years. This was a complete lie. The manager knew for 2 months that we were going to lose our jobs and did not tell us until 4 (business) days before our last day. Her excuse was that she wanted the regional manager to tell us. They only gave us 1 extra paycheck and the manager and supervisor wrote us generic letters of recommendation for our next job. We qualified for unemployment but that was not enough to cover our bills. I would not recommend working for this company. They are unorganized and they only care about the big wigs! As strict as they were, they owe us a big severance! Ill never work for them again!Iron Mountain
