WORST INSURANCE COMPANY! Claim opened in June 2022, still December 2022 claim isn't closed, I have had adjustors switched 4 times and it keeps delaying the claim. Supplements submitted over 2 months ago, refused to pay or didn't pay attention to all of the supplement. Good luck getting the adjustors direct numer or their supervisors number I have asked 5 times to speak to a supervisor for past 3 months, still have not received a call. When you try to call adjustor directly, you will get a automated system that takes you on a run around and continues to hang up on you when you want transferred to an agent, the system only wants you to go online for help.Liberty Mutual Group

I called and canceled my renters insurance several months ago! Apparently, the person on the phone did not process my request as she stated she had, and I am being hounded for $43 that I do not owe. I have called twice, and Liberty wants proof that I moved out of my apartment, which I do not have. I cant believe they would treat a six-year customer like this. I never filed a claim or anything.Liberty Mutual Group

A Liberty Mutual policy holder flew off the freeway in a road rage incident (noted in the police report) at 1am one morning 2 months ago. The driver of the mini van flew through our business property narrowly missing the billboard columns which would have surely killed him. He blew through the fence onto our property, into a large arrangement of corral panels that we sell in our day to day business activities & out the other side of the property destroying our front gate & pillar on the way out. I filed a claim online with Liberty Mutual as soon as we got the police report which took about 10 days. I was provided and automated claim number. I called the adjuster noted 4 times & left 4 messages. I emailed her 3 times. She never called back or emailed back. I called the main number to talk to someone, anyone. The person told me that they would leave a message for her. She called me the following week & told me in a very brusque manner that she was not the adjuster & gave me a different claim number and adjuster information. When I login to check on my claim status it gives me a different claim ************ contact information, so who knows what's going on there. I proceed to email the new adjuster. The email she gives me is incorrect & it comes back to me. I call & leave a message for the new adjuster. He is out of town for several ************* a different contact to get ahold of. I contact that person. She actually responded to me but not with any sort of update on the claim I've been trying to resolve but with the adjuster's email address. So at least I have the correct email address now. I email him & wait. I know he's out of town so I have to wait for a few days after his return which I do. Then I call again. He answers the phone! He is also very brusque & tells me I have to wait for some contracted company to call me. He has no contact information for this person. So now I am just waiting again. Meanwhile our property has been damaged for over 2 monthsLiberty Mutual Group

Started out okay, but then when its time to get a hold of ANYONE. It's a ghost town. Tried my agent, NOTHING! They will take my money but provide NO SERVICE! They won't even respond to renew my policy! Been waiting DAYS to get a hold of ANYONE!Liberty Mutual Group

The company is unreliable. I took the day off work to get my car towed and towing service was canceled 3 times. No one ever showed. I can not talk to any one in that department. I have never had this problem with other insurance companies.Liberty Mutual Group

Liberty Mutual has extremely poor business practice. Choose them at your own risk. They are not fair. I will never refer anyone to them. They will terminate you for something that happen years ago. The reason given is for a Tow. They have done lots of people like that. Even people that I have referred. Ive been with Liberty Mutual for years and they terminated me for something that happened 2 years ago. They allowed me to continue to pay insurance premiums for 2 years. If there was an issue they couldve terminated my insurance in 2021, or even 2022. Instead they wait until 2023; They continued to take my money.Liberty Mutual Group

We had a terrible experience with Liberty Mutual Safeco. Their customer backed into my Mercedez Benz in a parking lot. We took our car to a certified Mercedez ************** center to get the repairs done. They would not approve the estimate and we were responsible for the difference. ******************************* was our claims representative. I would leave her multiple messages with no response for weeks at a time. When she would call back, she agreed that we did nothing wrong and should not have to pay for the difference. However, when the car was finally finished, she sent a letter to me stating we would be out of pocket for over $800. Very disappointed with the overall experience and would not recommend Liberty Mutual Safeco to anyone.Liberty Mutual Group

****** or *******, not sure of the spelling, but he does not belong in a customer experience role. My monthly bill was going from $500 to $900 and **************, on a recorded line, confirmed that it was because my policy was fraudulently created. I've had my policy opened since April of this year, paying religiously since, and because the initial policy writer made our policy fraudulently, our home and auto bundle was deprecated and now we're going to pay almost double. Ridiculous! ************** decides that I need to speak with someone else and says, "hold", then I hear music, then I new voice from someone trying to sell me on a new insurance policy. Ridiculous! I call back to the main billing line and get ******, who luckily informs me is on the same team as ************** because I informed her that I needed to speak with him. I never raised my voice. I never used foul language. Why was ************** scared to get back on the line? ****** did her best to break down the reasons why my policy was called fraudulent by **************. She was just a messenger so I was not blunt or direct with her. I did appreciate her taking the time to at least put the puzzle together of why I was in this situation. Come to find out, State Auto agents were previously "helping" me out by adjusting things on my policy bundle that were not supposed be...for the last 8 months. It gave us a savings that met our budget, but eventually hit the fan and would cost us a lot. I have a way forward today, but it involves starting from scratch and giving up my good-standing policy. ************** does not belong in an industry that involves speaking with customers. State Auto messed up on their SOP, or the fact is they need an SOP to stay compliant and consistent. I'm stuck if I can't get a better deal elsewhere, so the best I can do is warn you to look everywhere else first before considering this place for any insurance.Liberty Mutual Group

We are very disappointed in Safeco/Liberty Mutual! We have been paying monthly premiums to them for 32 years, home and auto. We put in a claim two days ago, the second in 32 years and it was denied because we waited too long to file but how do you file it when you dont know there is a problem?! ??????? To whom it may concern,After approximately 32 years of choosing Safeco for our home and auto insurance we filed our 2nd claim with them. This was not a large claim of $5200.00 in which we have a $2500.00 deductible. I received the reason why it was turned down; the leak had apparently been happening for a while but it was not obvious to us until we saw water behind our toilet at which time my husband thought we would just need to change the toilet so called a plumber. We have always felt safe knowing we had Safeco Insurance covering us and spouted good things about this company to family and friends over the years because they were so good to us the "one time" we needed them. They turned down our claim which would have cost them about $2700.00. Please add up our premiums over 32 yrs. and it feels like a slap in the face! Thank you for reaching out,*********************
