5 starsUnfortunately, my wife lost her wedding ring. Of course she was devastated. She is a **** at a ***************************** where we live and spent the 1st few days wondering around campus looking for it along rhe path she took the day she believed she lost. Thankfully we had it insured as it was an investment. So I call my local insurance agent who informs me an adjuster will call in the next few days. The adjuster was ******** ***********. She didnt call in a few days. She called the very next morning. I explained the details to her and I could tell she sincerely was empathetic towards my wife. It was obvious she was good at her job because she so tactfully extracted tge required information from me. I still cant believe it. The very next morning I received notice of a pending payment for the full amount of the ring. So grateful to Cristella and Safeco! Thank you ****** and thank you **********!Liberty Mutual Group

1 starIn my experience, a negligent and incompetent insurance company. I have spent more time on the phone resolving issues caused by their mistakes and unwillingness to admit responsibility than all other past insurance companies I have interacted with.I requested a seemingly simple home policy switch to rental (landlord) to take effect upon completion of the existing homeowner's (primary residence) policy. However, ****** failed to terminate the old policy when the new one took effect, and billed my escrow for both. The old one was paid and the new one was then cancelled due to non-payment. But not before they billed me for two months of coverage, the entire time sending communications of non-payment to my escrow agents, but not me.After spending countless hours on the phone with them, it was decided that the resolution was 1) cancel and refund the premium paid for the old policy, 2) pay the two months of past-due coverage on the new policy and 3) pay the full premium for a year on the new policy from that day. Which I did (through my escrow account). Fast forward 10 months when I get a bill in the mail for a balance due. After speaking with yet another ****** agent on the phone, I learn that, although they told me a dollar amount for the new policy premium, and all of my documents state this amount, they decided on that same day that my premium would be higher because of the lapse in coverage during the time they had botched things up. They would not be swayed by the circumstances or my insistence that the issue was their doing. They decided, after payment and signing documents, that I owed more money and they were not changing their minds.This company employs unethical business practices and makes mistakes which ultimately result in stress and a great deal of time wasted resolving problems of their making. 1 starBE AWARE Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with ******. We signed with the company for Home Insurance in September 2021. We had a couple of incidents where we had branches damaging our roof and informed the Insurance, however, the damage was always less than our deductible so they never had to pay. In 2023 we started experiencing some problems with the roof and were told by a roofing company that our roof had been damaged by hail and contacted the insurance to have it evaluated. They sent an inspector and he denied any damage and affirmed that our roof was kind of old but still in very good shape, that was his ********* August 2024, we received a letter from the insurance informing us that they would not renew our homeowners insurance policy.this is what they said:"This non-renewal is the result of an underwriting review. The reason for non-renewal is -Condition of property: Roof-Algae/mildew/mold/most outbuilding-missing shingles/tarp "In my opinion, this is a very opportunistic and unethical behavior. They took our money, never paid for any claim, and did not have the decency to honestly inform us of this when the inspector came to the house to check our roof.I would not trust a company that behaves in such a manner.Liberty Mutual Group

1 starA man that was literally parked with his truck on top of the words "NO PARKING". While still looking at her accelerated his full sized pick up truck and due to his eyes being on his child and not the road Tboned my fiance. She was driving my 2017 ****** tacoma which I'd finally paid off a month prior. Due to a high interest rate I've paid over 40 grand for that truck. I have my companies name all over my truck I take alot of pride in it and the work I had to do to pay for it. I served in the ****************** for almost 5 years and was deployed in *********** and ****. And I have ALWAYS held myself to the highest standards in regards to my honesty and integrity. The man who drove into my truck immediately upon asking his vehicle apologize profusely for what he had done and accepted full responsibility I had a pressure washer in the back of my truck that broke my back window and my truck staying damage to the driver side door and the rear fender as well as dense by the back door. It is basically a perfect image of where his giant truck hit mine. I wanted my truck ***aired quickly because I carry my business's name on it. So I asked my claims *** if I were to pay for the ***airs to my truck would I be reimbursed. To which the claims *** told me specifically and matter of factly that I would be 100% reimbursed for all the cost of ***airs to my truck. So taking this insurance company at their word I withdrew over $10,000 from my company's credit line to pay for the damages to my truck to be ***aired. If I paid the money back within 30 days I wouldn't have any interest on it however after 30 days the interest rate is around 20%. I stress this to my clients rap after weeks gone by and I still was getting the runaround after two and a half months of complete disregard for the people that they work for and a absolute lack of integrity amongst the insurance staff I was given $***** it cost me $13,000 after everything they gave me ***** I now have legal ***resentationLiberty Mutual Group

1 starThis company is a joke!!! They canceled my insurance for a blurry aerial picture showing a tree shadow on the roof, saying it is ****. They said there is an appeal process. That is a lie, they refused the we photos we took that proves there is NO ****, refused the appeal process and cancelled my policy. Stay away from this headache!!!Liberty Mutual Group

1 starOne star is not low enough for this crappie insurance. I am currently moving all of my business to a different insurance company. I had two car and two houses. I have found better rates with GEICO. Better customer service so far. ********************************************* claims is a joke. Do your self a favor a dont waste your time.Liberty Mutual Group

1 starInsurance companies should want to prove their efficiency, effectiveness and timeliness in insurance claims, but Liberty Mutual likes to take their times and claim you're at fault even though the police report states and proves otherwise. July 29th i was driving home and passed through a green lit (for me) intersection when the final cane's occupant, while on her phone, ran her red light and t-boned me. This caused me to spin and flip my 4runner and totaled it out in the end. The 2 lanes to the right of the person who hit me stayed put because they had a red light, or of they did have a green light they would have hit me first instead of the final lane's occupant. ** decided they'd conduct their own investigation which is reasonable, but they're just going off of what their driver said, not the police report and statements from all ******************** They blatantly blamed me for running my red light even though I was proven not at fault by an officer of the law. Here it is October, and the most I've heard from LM is letters saying "the reason this is taking so long is to conduct our own investigation." Pretty sure it does not take 2.5 months to obtain a police report from an accident, video footage of said intersection, and any witness/driver statements to prove or not whether who is at fault. As an insurance company, you should be ashamed of your employees blaming others for something they have no clue about nor were present at the accident. One of many reasons why your company is sub-par in their business practices and why I would never suggest anyone use you for insurance. Fix yourselves, your employees, and your ethics of the company. I will be posting this on all review boards and making sure people are aware of the failures of your company and how atrocious the employees are trained. Do better, be better.Liberty Mutual Group

1 starI would give this company zero stars if possible. Put in a claim on my roof for wind damage. *** came out. He was late, but gave me a heads up and I was ok with that. He turns around and is an arrogant and rude, know it all. He took pictures of every part of my house BUT THE ROOF. He sent the estimate that covered a small portion of the roof. I got a contractor involved to look at the roof and do an ITEL test on the shingles. I find out I have pretty bad hail damage throughout the entire roof and that my shingles are discontinued. I live in a matching state meaning my shingles HAVE TO MATCH and he is refusing to cover the whole roof because according to his definition of matching its fine as long as the shingles are close enough to the rest of the roof. Roofing company is fighting it, but hes unresponsive and apparently his arrogance is a front for lack of intelligence. Really regret carrying insurance with this company.Liberty Mutual Group

1 starSafeco insurance is not a good insurance company they Safeco are taking advantage of my mom and lying about not fixing the roof when it's already fixed then making up lies about other things in our yard that Safeco insurance or someone who works for Safeco went over his supervisor s head or the companies head and took it upon him or herself to committ fraud by taking my mom's money then saying oh we cannot insure you anymore about your houses roof yard and the next door neighbors yard..these people should be put in prison...this insurance company should review what its agents appraisers and workers accusations and the work that the workers are doing and getting away with..we put a new roof on our house.
