    This has been the most terrible experience of my life. They claimed to have one ready for shipment, but each week the representative would call, promising it would ship by Friday. Yet, Friday after Friday passed without a tracking number. Then, they attempted to have me approve a manual transmission and sent a photo. Fortunately, I was more knowledgeable than they anticipated, and I noticed it wasn't the automatic transmission I had ordered. It took an additional three weeks for them to dispatch the correct type of transmission. Despite assurances of its functionality, it was defective. The repair shop reported that the ****** bolt holes were worn oval, the torque converter was filled with black sludge, and there was an evident presence of metal in the fluid from the transmission. Moreover, the transmission was jammed. Now, I've lost $2,250 in labor costs. Optimal has refused to assist in any way, even though they supplied a faulty transmission. They are also procrastinating on issuing a refund. I made the purchase on May 9th, and now it's September 9th, and I'm still struggling to get my money back. I advise staying as far away from them as possible unless you're willing to waste money.
