Computershare has literal taken hostage of a holding that is (presently) valued at around $29,377. My daughter and I (have?) a Custodian/Minor (UTMA) account with ******************** as the fiduciary holding company of Realty Income (O). The holding is inheritance from my late mother (died in 2019) to my daughter and my daughter turned 18 in Dec. 2024 (adult in state of **). Shortly thereafter I attempted to transfer this holding to my adult daughter. Computershare requires a "Medallion Stamp", an obscure substitute to notarization and few financial companies participate in providing. One that does, **********, stated to me that they can't provide it because I don't have a custodian account with my daughter at their institution. Technically, I can't because my daughter is not a minor at this point in time. Computershare provides no alternative; They insist I must obtain a Medallion Stamp (they know well that's next to impossible). They stated I can pay their partner, esignature, approximately $200 to gain the Medallion Stamp however to me this seems like extortion in exchange for re-registering the holding in my adult daughter's name and account. I have spent hours (30+), with and without my daughter on the phone with Computershare, and they will not re-register this holding under her name. When I suggested I might have to sell the holding, they stated I could but the check would be made out to me as custodian and my daughter as the minor. This could sabotage finding a bank that would process (cash or deposit) the check. Then a few weeks later I went to sign into my account only to find ******************** locked my online account, taking from the prior conversation that I might turn to this alternative to transfer the value of the holding to my daughter. Presently, the value of this holding is completely vulnerable to market fluctuations WITHOUT me having efficient access to sell it should it be a last-ditch effort to guard against severe market deterioration.

I have attempted since December to cash out stock that is through computershare from the ***************************. I believe they are stalling, and do not wish to give me my money. There are 100 shares that I am trying to cash out. I sent in all required documentation plus the $250 processing fee, only to get a letter via the US mail over two weeks later stating that I did not supply a certified copy of birth certificate. They could not call or email me? They wasted all of that time! A certified birth certificate was never on the given checklist from them. I also have a banker from my ************ assisting me, and she has stated via email to me several times that every single time we have called, we receive different information from each representative. I sent the birth certificate on ******, the day I received the letter stating theyneed it via two day air with **** It was delivered on Thurs 22 MAY. I called computershare this morning for a status update and was again given the runaround and AGAIN treated extremely rude, as most of the calls have been for me. I have also requested several times for my money to be directly deposited into my bank account, which they have all information for. I was told that it is not possible, and that they must mail me a paper check via ***** I have now spent $70 sending them documentation they demand, proving that I am the owner of this account, yet they are dragging their feet. I believe they are stalling because they do not want to hand over the money, which is rightfully mine. The amount I am to receive will continue to fluctuate due to the market. Im furious with this insane process and Im waiting to see what went wrong now that Ive sent them what they requested. I have every single letter, as well as both delivery confirmations from *** for the items I have sent to computershare.

After account verification and a brief discussion the representative said no replacement check would be provided due to our failure to verify ourselves. I bought 500 dollars worth of stock through them on may 10 2025. They say they never received my money even though I have an email with a confirmation number and a bank statement saying they withdrew the funds. Had to call 3 times and each time was given different instructions on what to do to settle this. They acted like they didn't care or if I was lying. I have now sent them the confirmation email printed along with my bank statement so they can open an investigation. They said this has never happened before which I know is a lie based off reviews I have read on bbb.

My father passed away in January. We found out afterwards he had several different types of accounts open, There are 4 stocks with my name on them. I called Computershare. They sent me the forms I needed to transfer the accounts to myself, and sell them. Some of the forms needed to be notarized and others needed a watermark stamp done by the bank.I filled out the forms had them notarized and stamped.A couple of weeks later I received 4 separate calls from Computershare telling me the stocks were ******** today I received some of the same forms again.I called Computershare and spoke with a very unpleasant person who told me that they had not sold the stocks and that I had sent them the wrong forms and I need to fill out the forms I received today. These are the forms I had already sent Computershare. I asked the representative if as he said I filled out the wrong forms who and why were the Computershare representatives who called and told me the stock was already sold.He made no attempt to answer that question. Its not easy when your Dad dies. I myself am a Senior Citizen now, and have trouble getting around.I really dont need these headaches from Computershare. I dont know if I am being scammed or just dealing with really poor customer service by ************************ something is very seriously wrong here. Please help.

Computershare Investor Services has not effectively communicated or rectified the issue of access to my share holdings. I still cannot access my share holdings and this is day 9. I have contacted Computershare via phone (was told an IT ticket was put in), via their website chat (was told they would update me), and via ******** chat (they would update me and someone from the appropriate department would contact me). I have yet to have this issue resolved and cannot access my holdings in the midst of a financial sell off. I am in the process of seeking legal council.

My mother passed away and owns ******* stock through this company and they are trying to not let anyone takeover the deceased shares. I have filled paperwork out for them twice being told each time this is all I have to do, once they sent me the same form again and said again thats all you have to fill out and now they want a affidavit but can't tell me where our how to get it. They keep adding additional steps everything time I complete something, I believe they are trying to make it as frustrating and time consuming and dificu.t as possible s0 I will give up and let them keep my deceased mother stock. They have lied to me and when I talk to them they are more worrying about correcting me when I say what form this time instead of what affidavid then being honest with what I need to do
