      These guys shark you. I have used it 2 or 3 times. They usually charge you a % of the monthly fee that they save you, which is fair. Well recently they started charging for years of savings. for example if your bill is 15/month and they lower it to 10/month. They'll say they are saving you $180 over 3 years and will charge you that. extremely bad service for doing that, and I used to like them.

      Our fee is 40% of the total savings achieved, which we do advertise openly on our website and through all of our partner's apps. This is not a new fee structure, we have always charged this amount and capped our savings at 24 months. Whilst we may negotiate savings for life, we only charge our customers a fee capping it at 24 months. On the two previous occasions we have only been able to negotiate a courtesy credit for you but as your ******* discount expired on 05/04/2024, your bill had increased so we were able to reduce your monthly fee with *******. Our team will be reaching out to you today.

      This company claimed to save me $180 which broke down to $15 per month. This was incorrect as my bill was $83 and the new price went down only $4 per month. They charged me an outrageous amount for a service they did not provide. Do not use this service they are taking money from people trying to save. Shame on this company.

      Total scam. They got me once but I did hire them the first time through mint. Apparently signing up through mint ops you in to a reoccurring service even though that is not explained up front. They will send you one email that most likely will go to your spam folder before they renegotiate and send you an invoice out of the blue for the supposed money they will save you over two years. What they don't tell you is that the providers are not forced to abide by this pricing. Their customer service is a total waste. They don't care about actually helping people save or understanding the complaints you have. All they care about is scamming you out of money. It's very predatory. Can't wait for the class action lawsuit.

      Initially posted a review of 1 star for Billshark but have subsequently reached an agreement with them over my complaints of lack of disclosure regarding the fee charged and the obstacles I ran into trying to open links sent via their email containing the invoice for their fee. While I still feel that information was not fully disclosed in the Pocketguard app section of "lower my bills" and any text messages between Billshark rep and myself, I am amending my review solely based on the efforts of the customer service rep to reach some sort of resolve. I have included a portion of my initial review for purposes of explanation of the issue. " Saw the option on Pocketguard App to "lower my bills" Followed steps for that for monthly internet bill. Received a **** from Billshark stating a reduction of $504 over 24 months with a 2 yr contract. That was a significant reduction so I accepted via the **** messaging. THEN VIA **** i receive an invoice from Bill ****** When I replied to that text inquiring why I was receiving an invoice for $201 when I thought my internet chg would be reduced and paid monthly, AT THAT POINT FOR THE 1st TIME, I was informed that was the chg for Billshark's fee. When i challenged that lack of information being shared upfront, the response was the fee was explained on the website. I was never directed to the website for anything!! While that still sounds good, I am confident with some patience, I could have called my internet provided and received the same contract "negotiated" by Billshark. So now instead of reducing my expense for this month, I suddenly have a $200 bill that is to be paid immediately. Received an email with link to invoice, link does not work. Option in the email to pay bill over time thru PAYPALL, That link does not work and caused my computer to lock up. Tried replying to that same email." I would encourage anyone to have a lengthy conversation with Billshark customer service before agreeing to retain their services.

      In my unfortunate experience with the Intuit-recommended service known as Billshark, I can only describe it as a complete disappointment. Instead of being a helpful financial tool, it should be rebranded as BSShark - a company that leaves you high and dry and full of - well, you know.First and foremost, Billshark's approach was far from transparent. They contacted the service providers we specified, but instead of negotiating fair savings, they seemed to simply downgrade our services without any clear communication or consent. What they touted as "saving" us money felt more like a sleight of hand trick.To make matters worse, their billing practices were nothing short of dubious. There was no detailed breakdown of the actions they supposedly took on our behalf, or in this case, the lack thereof. It was as though they were intentionally obscuring the truth behind their actions.In my eyes, Billshark's operations appear to be nothing short of a 100% scam. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear at all costs. The lack of transparency, coupled with their questionable tactics, makes them a company to avoid like the plague. Your hard-earned money and financial stability deserve better than what Billshark has to offer.

      If I could give zero or minus I would. This company is a scam. First 2 days after signing up I get a text from a person named ******** asking for the pin to my Spectrum account. What this person did to my account turned into a nightmare. She removed me from my account then she totally reset my modem back to factory which caused all my TVs to not be connected. When I contacted Spectrum they told me I was no longer in control of my account. I fixed that after 2 hours and a helpful Spectrum rep. ** wireless printer is still offline and I havent been able to fix that. I work from home and this company could have cost me my job. It is a total scam I learned from Spectrum she did nothing but a factory reset and tried to tell me I owe them hundreds of dollars because of what she saved me. So RUN DONT walk as far away from this company as you can. What a mess. How are they still in business?

      This company is a scam. stealing money from struggling everyday people that are trying to save money by charging 40% of 24 months of savings that havent even happened yet.? How do you charge for savings that havent happened yet? Just wrong. Everyone at this company should be ashamed of themselves. Look at all these bad reviews. They speak for themselves

      My internet bill was scheduled to increase, so they set out to negotiate that. Two days later, I was notified that they had kept my internet bill the same for next 2 years, which somehow equated to me supposedly "saving" $720 according to them. So instead of saving from a lower bill, I ended up paying an extra $288 to pay 40% of the mysterious $720 "savings" while my bill remains the same. I feel like I just paid $288 for nothing. Would not recommend. Will not repeat.
