SCAMMERS. They will charge you for a yearly subscription cancellation and try to make you pay a portion of each month you would have paid not a refund. They are bad to reach and deal with and are just hungry for your moneyBillshark

I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns, and I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It seems there might be some misunderstanding, and I'd like to clarify our process.
Firstly, I want to emphasize that Billshark is not a subscription service. We operate as a bill reduction service, where customers ***** us permission to negotiate lower rates on their bills. Our fee is based on the amount we successfully save for our customers during these negotiations, and it is set at 40% of the savings achieved. Importantly, if we're unable to secure any savings, there is no cost to the customer.
Regarding cancellations, as outlined in our terms agreed to during enrollment, customers are required to cancel before we commence our services. This is a crucial step to ensure clarity and transparency in our processes. Our pricing and terms are prominently displayed throughout the enrollment process on our website and mobile app.Review fromTimara B

"BillShark, hereinafter referred to as BS, deserves its name, absolute FRAUD! Do not believe their claim that they have saved you several years' of internet bills without providing any evidence. In the end, you will discover that your rates have actually increased significantly. My current internet rate is $89.97. They claimed to have saved me 24 months' internet bills, with the first 12 months remaining at $89.97, claiming saving you $50 per month." The second year, my bill would be $129.97, still claiming to "save you $15 per month." This is pure nonsense. Yesterday I had to contact my internet provider and was informed that there was never a 24-month promotion, at most only 12 months. Now their invoice claims that I owe them 40% of those BS savings. They specialize in bundling several years of so-called savings, which is essentially a disguised way of charging you more fees. They play number tricks with their customers. Please take a look at their responses to complaints on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) they are all identical, copy-pasted, and insincere, showing no genuine intention to address the issues. I urge all victims who have been deceived by them not to be concerned about how powerful this fraudulent company is behind the scenes and to file a complaint with the Attorney General. Because this is not only about the money. Lets fight back!Billshark

FRAUD!!!! I reached out to Billshark after Mint recommended them to me. I filled out the application and submitted my information. I got a text on May 5th, 2023 from a rep at Billshark that my pin for ******** wasn't working. I texted the person back with my pin. They asked me if I wanted to switch to a plan that could save me money where I won't be paying for ******** gogo Inflight, or other premium add-ons, but assured me I will still have unlimited data, talk, and text. I agreed. Then the person asked if I used AAA and my phone's insurance. I said, yes. Then they followed up by asking if I wanted to remove those as part of the package to save even more money. I said, yes.I get billed $******.The invoice did not outline any details of what was done or contain any details other than the amount owed. I reached out to Tmobile and they told me I still had the same plan from 2019, and nothing had changed about my plan. There were no pending changes nor were there notes that anyone from ******** had spoken to Billshark. I removed several add-ons from my account with no assistance from Billshark and received prorated credits to my account from Tmobile. I reached out to CS support for Billshark to opt out and they told me I was still responsible for the ****** even though the agreement was made under false pretenses. Again, they offered me a new plan where I would not be paying for ******* or other premium add-ons and would just have a basic plan, but I am still paying for these add-ons. Billshark uses clear-as-day bait-and-switch tactics to generate revenue. They offered a plan that did not exist to me, and are now trying to bill me for insurance that they not only did not remove but that I only agreed to remove as part of a savings package for my phone bill. BBB you need to remove their accreditation. I will be reporting Billshark to the **** and have my communication with Billshark and Tmobile documented.Billshark

I was not being overcharged for the insurance. The insurance was protecting two devices each for 6 dollars a month in case something happened to the devices. I think it's hilarious how you use the term overcharged too. You don't think trying to charge someone over 300 for doing nothing isn't an overcharge? Or lying to someone that you will change their plan, but not following through isn't a bait-and-switch? Also, when should I be expecting someone to reach out? You said shortly, but it's nearly been a month.Review fromKerry D

Can I give 0 stars? There is no way to have a dispute with them, and you must pay for their services before there is proof the bills were negotiated down. Additionally, they'll debate between a service and a subscription. A canceled subscription will cost you $9, but a canceled service is 40% of 2 years worth of savings. Big difference.Billshark

I wish I looked them up on here before I got scammed. It seems that most of us are all in the same boat. They removed insurance from my phone plan and said that they were only going to charge me 40% off the savings, 40% of $5, I can live with that. But no, they did $5/month for 2 years. But they dont tell you that part. Dont use this service at all.Billshark

Our fee is 40% of the total savings achieved, which we do advertise openly on our website and through all of our partner's apps. We were able to save you money, by removing the insurance on your account, with your permission, as you were being charged for insurance while you're coved through your *********** So essentially you were double paying for the same coverage.Review fromHope G

Absolutely not worth it. Call yourself as the people will "negotiate" jsut simply removing your add-on's and then charging you for it. I even said "I'll stick to my current plan" and they still proceeded with authorizing on my behalf, and later charging me for it. Absolutely ****** and the way they charge is for 24 months of savings billed immediately, even with no written verification / proof. So if you want to waste your money, go ahead. Absolutely appalled at this company even existing. Scummy, shady business.Billshark

**********,We are sorry to hear your experience isn't what you expected.Yes, you could have negotiated your own bill. We do not claim to perform a service that our customers can't do on their own. Our customers enroll in our service for a couple of reasons; 1. they don't have the time to negotiate on their own, and 2. they don't want to deal with the headache of negotiating with their provider. It's also important to note that since our Sharks are doing this all day, every day, odds are that we will be more successful, and save more, than if you were to do it yourself. And...on occasion, we learn about unpublicized savings promotions that the general public would never know about unless they were placing thousands of calls to these providers.Review fromBeatrice M

Billshark has been prompt in replying to my support requests. However, Billshark is unable to provide any proof that a bill was negotiated, and if the ****** increases the rate, there seems to be no recourse. I had to contact my cable provider myself to confirm the promo rate that was negotiated by Billshark, and the cable provider raised the rate nationwide anyway. I would consider using Billshark again if they actually had a written legal agreement between themselves and the ****** on my behalf and if they would guarantee the rate and provide follow-up support at no charge to re-negotiate if the ****** raises the rate.Billshark
