  TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING. The website says "starting at $109" for a single item. I had one couch. They refuse to give quotes ahead of time, so the poor, WONDERFUL guys who show up have to deal with telling the customer the real price, which in my case was $398. That is a far cry from $109....This practice should be illegal and I really would like some of my money back. I expected to pay around $160 based on website info. So I would take a $200 refund, but I highly doubt I will see anything or even any response from the company. ZERO STARS (except for the guys who do the actual picking up and moving - they get 100 STARS)

  I wont even give them one star they never gave me a estimate online and when they came here they started too take the bed apart I only had three items a box spring, mattress and a small bookshelf and was charged $500 and then they asked for a tip no way. I called the company many times and they said they would call back to discuss it and never did.This company is a rip-off!

  I called them from my cell phone, and they decided it was ok to send me text messages the next day offering their services. It's very rude to stalk people after they make a phone call to your business. I did not agree to allow them to contact me after that phone call. I was quoted over $300 to remove a couch. I declined. I paid my neighbor $30 to take it in his truck 8 miles to the city dump.

  The two men who arrived to load up my bulk trash & donated junk actually did a great job in the work they did. They called ahead, offered to bring me coffee or a drink. They showed up promptly and worked quickly.The problem I had was in trying to pay.Not only was I not given any paper quote, rather the lead guy just pointed to a generic clipboard of charges -- some applied to me & some wouldn't. I was all set to go, but did expect a paper receipt before it was over -- but no. He kept yammering on about being a green company. I wanted something in writing, but no. I would only get an email receipt after the fact.THEN, when I asked for the final price and asked to pay, he put that on pause. He (the lead driver) wanted to know how they did verbally -- THEN asked me to give a ****** review, because they had some wager going on for a steak dinner to the winner of most/best reviews. I absolutely HATE people begging for praise. I Hate WORSE being ambushed with begging for reviews.Can't anybody, anymore, just do the job they are paid to do and be professional about it -- and quit begging for praise???He made me use my phone to bring up the review place by clicking on his clipboard. I asked again to pay. He stepped back and waited, saying "I'll let you finish that review before we continue." That was shady AF and totally ****** me off. Holding my bill as hostage to force a good review for a steak is not in good practice for any business. Before he pulled that c*** on me, I was more than happy to give the company a shout out to my friends/colleagues.Your driver most assuredly shut that down. I won't use your services ever again and here is the review that dude was so insistent on receiving. That is also why the tip I set aside for these drivers remained in my hands.

  Called to ask about pricing to remove a tv and its stand, along with some other miscellaneous household items. Was told it would probably be around $150-$300. It was actually $600 plus $25 per electronic item, which was never disclosed during the phone conversation. Was told that two guys would show up and all we had to do was show them what to take. Only one guy showed up and my husband had to help him load the tv on the truck. Despite sending an email to customer service, we have not received any response. Very disappointed in this company and would neither recommend them, nor use them ever again.

  I have occasionally used Got Junk over the past 15 years. Last time was just before *****, when I cleaned out my cellar-which cost me about $350. I just did a garage clean out, consisted of general trash, cardboard, gardening containers, nothing toxic or bulky not even half of what was taken from cellar. I estimated with inflation that it would cost $500-$600. Two very polite and considerate lads showed up an hour late-gave me a quote (after calling in to the boss) for the trash AND labor, plus add ons for a small appliance and battery. The amount was almost $1000. Well I was in shock and stuck, the trash was out, a storm was coming and it was early evening -I paid. I will however never use ***** Junk, again. Their menu pricing is a scam and should be avoided. Another great company trashed.

  Unbelievably expensive. Found out after the fact my garbage company would have taken the items for $20, not the almost $500 1800GotJunk charged for a small love seat and a small recliner.

  Horrible business, they came out and quoted removal of piano for $500.00, they came out with two guys, then they said they needed two more guys, then radio silent. Very unprofessional with the communication. They could of just said they can't move the piano. Will never use this company again..

  They called to say theyd be 30 minutes late. They were even later. They showed up and told my husband it would be $90 more than the quoted price. My husband refused. It was like bartering with these guys. Ridiculous. I could hear them complaining the entire time they were getting rid of the piano. Rude. Dont use them.

  They are way overpriced !!!They wanted $1,000 to haul away 50 trash bags of aluminum cans - ha hee I got it done for $200.I would never ever use this company nor recommend them !!!
