1 starWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!Summit Energy sold me a solar energy system and installation plan that was approved and signed by me, then installed a different design and layout, that included a battery backup system that I did not order and fewer actual solar panels, than was expected. After this, They tried to coerce me into accepting this system by offering it at a so-called discounted price. Then proceeded to present a contract at a considerably increased cost than was quoted to me. Summit Energy ultimately installed a system that they know had been recalled due to faulty parts and as a result, has failed and does not work. The system was turned on November 1st and has been down for almost the entirety of the 2 &1/2 months since then (as of writing this). Also during the installation, they damaged my roof and it now has leaks in multiple places.I have made multiple requests to have these issues addressed. Their response has been to make appointments for technicians to come out and then not show up at all. I have lost days of work by taking time off, just for no one to show up! They dont even have the common courtesy to call and cancel their appointments.Review fromJudi D

1 starWorst customer service and experience ever. They have not been honest with anything, and 3 weeks after the panels are installed they still have not send the completion paperwork to Eversource (they assure us it was submitted 12/8). We get no benefit from the panels until they complete the paperwork, then we have to wait on the utility company to complete there part. We will now not be able to claim the tax credit in 2022 and we have incurred months of additional electric bills. They dont care, they are not doing anything. Again I am fighting with them to complete the paperwork that they need to submit. I have asked to speak with the president of this company for months, no one seems to know who senior management is. This has been going on since August. They have been dishonest since we made payment, that is when everything we were told changed.Review fromStephen D.

2 starsAbout 4 months ago they repaired two micro-inverters and caused another to drop off. Never came back to fix that dead one. Was also supposed to fix auto-reporting meter but never did. Called several times and no call back. Finally got a response to an email suggested I call a private contractor that works for them. Disrupted panel is still dead. Never finished the job. Nothing to complain about with this professional company. Everything and everyone came together to install and complete as promised by Summit Energy Staff. They even took our advice and re-routed the outside electrical conduit to keep the antique 1800's barn roof authentic. Would highly recommend Summit Energy for solar. 4 starsOnce I got all the "paperwork" done they completed the installation quickly. I amazed at the efficiency of the system. It is supplying all of my electrical energy. The inspections went smoothly: all hardware left at my home in one delivery, and installed in only two hours. The ease with which the workmen navigated my steep roof was quite impressive. The only significant problem for me was processing one of the forms for my power company to connect me to the grid, delaying the activation several weeks. The guys did a good job collecting the bits of metal conduit and other pieces of scrap. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of work performed.Review fromScott B

Overall it was great experience from start to finish with Summit Energy. **** and *** from the first day we met were very good at communicating and answering all my questions. **** got the design with the maximum power possible, planned and approved which other company said they could not do. It did took a while to get inspection done after installation but that was probably a problem in scheduling with the town.Summit Energy
