I tried to apply for the BJs credit card on my phone. The website stated that I needed a membership first, and then I could pre-qualify, which was great because it wouldnt affect my credit score. I went into the BJs store to get a membership and explained to the young lady that I had attempted to apply for the card online, but it wouldnt let me without a membership. She convinced me to get the black card. She then told me to verify my information on a small screen, and soon I was on my way back home, excited to see if I would be approvedonly to be greeted with a message stating I had already applied. I had to think for a moment before realizing what had happened. I contacted customer service and was given some instructions, but Im getting old, and if I put things off for long enough, Ill forget about it.I am requesting that a refund be initiated because I never used my membership and that the hard pull be removed from my credit report.Business Response

I renewed my membership in the club and they renewed another persons membership with the same name as me and my membership was auto renewed on the app so I ended up paying for someone elses membership and my own. Ive been trying to resolve this with them since January, the manager at the club sent me to the online customer service and after 3 months of trying to process my refund, theyre telling me to go to the club and that they cant do it. I originally only wanted the refund for the membership that wasnt mine, but I see that they have a money back guarantee if youre not happy with your membership for any reason you can cancel and get a refund so now I would like a refund for both memberships.Business Response

On April 3, I went into BJ's customer service located at ***************************************************. I brought in a Snuggle fabric softener 168 oz exchange. I was told that it could not be exchanged because it could not be found in the system. The Snuggle fabric softener 168 oz was bought at BJ's and all I wanted was an exchange, and I was denied. I make several purchases in BJ's and spend alot of money there.This is poor customer service and for a simple exchange for an item that was damaged.Business Response

Two issues occurred yesterday. The ***** coupon was not taken off upon check out. False advertising regarding Downy. I went to customer service and asked about the coupon and I was told they could not do anything at store level I had to call customer service. I contacted customer service and they said the store had to fix the issue. Second issue picture in front of downy stated buy two get one free. Only downy picture was shown. Upon check out the third downy was not removed and customer service said I needed to buy pearls in order for this third item be free. It was false advertisement.Business Response

My concerns are twofold: unauthorized business solicitation on BJs premises and misleading pricing tactics. First, I have frequently visited this BJs location and encountered an individual who appeared to be a BJs employee. I have seen this person multiple times, and he even engaged me in discussions about home improvement projects. He ultimately introduced me to **********************, a company based in ************. The company presented itself in a way that gave me the impression that BJs endorsed or backed its work. They even offered me a discount, which further reinforced the belief that they were officially affiliated with BJs. However, I later discovered that Ameritech is not officially approved by BJs. This raises concerns that BJs is either allowing or ignoring individuals who misrepresent their association with BJs, exploiting the trust customers place in the brand. When I raised this issue with the store manager, she claimed she was unaware of *********. However, other employees acknowledged that they were familiar with the individual working for ********* inside the store. I strongly urge BJs to take steps to prevent unauthorized companies and individuals from soliciting business on their premises under false pretenses. Second, I have observed a pattern of what appears to be bait-and-switch pricing tactics at BJs. I have encountered multiple instances where items advertised as being on saleincluding ********************* (two-pack), Gold Bond Cream (two-pack), and a particular brand of orangeswere not actually available when I attempted to purchase them. Instead, I found similar items under different names or packaging at regular prices. I have also noticed that BJs at times places sale tags and promotional arrows near products that are different from those advertised, leading customers to pick up the item and realizing the discrepancy at checkout. These practices create confusion and frustration, and they seems to be misleading.Business Response

Dinesh: BJ's called me once with an ***** number, as it was not clear that it is BJ's I did not pick it. The message said that they will contact me again, which they never did. I would have picked it up on their second call as I know they are trying to get in touch with me. I called that number back but it is a general number and was unable to pick up a choice among given choices.
Will appreciate if they call me back. and let me know how to get in touch with the representative if I don't hear the ring.

[I think this is a old message. Ms ***** from BJ's called me and we talked , she has noted all my concerns and she told me that somone will contact me , who from BJ's side deals with Ameritech. I am waiting for their email, so I can send the contract and bills paid and write more clearly what has happened with my situation. Thanks ***** for her help but the matter is not yet resolved.
