      Highly disappointing. Will never book with viator again. My boyfriend got sick the night of our big bus tour in ********* scheduled for the 8th, he was not over the stomach bug until the 10th. I called customer service waited 40 minutes on hold to speak with a supervisor and representative had "accidentally" connected me to **********. The original representative refused to reschedule our tour or refund my $130. Total unprofessionalism this company needs to be revoked of its accreditation they are not customer friendly by any means. My representatives name was *******************, these representatives need to be proactive and assist customers not intentionally directing calls to the wrong state maybe more training is needed, along with a refund or the ability to rebook a tour. I saw plenty of big top tour busses for the duration of our stay and they were not full by any means. Terrible business.

      Absolutely terrible customer service after false advertising in email. They offered a promo through an email titled Friendsgiving where you refer a friend and they get 20% off their 1st tour and then you receive 25% off when they used it. My friend was able to use the link I sent, but I never received a code credited to my account. I have spent countless hours trying to explain the same situation to their customer service and have gotten absolutely no where. I never do these reviews, but I think others should be warned. This has caused so much unnecessary stress.

      I booked a Japanese archery ****** in ***** through Viator. It was advertised as being offered in English and ********. When I got there, only ******** was spoken. The instructor held a few pages in English up to my face for less than 30 seconds. Then shot an arrow once. Then had me try to do it but it was all in ********. I was quite upset since it was my last afternoon in ***** and there were other things I could have done. I was angry, frustrated and on the verge of tears when I left. His female assistant was laughing at me when I walked the door. I see this business has many one star reviews. The ********************* should be embarrassed to have this company operating in its town.

      Please take my advice and do not book any tours with Viator. I booked a bioluminescent tour in Tobago and there was a medical emergency and I was not able to go on the tour but the 3 other customers with me still went. I asked Viator and the tour company for a partial refund which they denied. The other 3 customers said they didn't get what was paid for to either go on paddle board or kayaks. Viator said that was never included in the tour but that is a lie because when booking and entering each customers name we had a choice to choose either paddle boat or kayak which everyone chose kayak. They didnt get this and was told to jump off the main boat and swim in the ocean at night to see the bioluminescence. The tour guy didnt even deny those were the options and said sorry no refund. This company is a rip off. Their refund policies are c*** Don't waste your time using them go with a more reputable company that honors refunds especially for emergencies out of your control.

      Warning , do not book on this ****************** centers around finding ways to give customers a happy experience but Viator will rip you off , will show give you no support once payment is made and will make you regret why you went with them with cold responses. They did not pick up any of my phone lines,/emails for me to find the correct spot for pick up before the trip, refused support on reaching toll booth exactly 5 mins late &refused to give a refund and put all the blame on me. They are just bad news and probably have a significant unhappy customer base.

      Viator is an awful company and I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to use them. They didn't update my pickup location and sent me messages through the app that I had only looked at the time after no one showed up to pick me up. It was my birthday and anniversary celebration in ***** that was deeply impacted by this and their customer service during the ordeal. Truly horrible HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I requested a refund which they promptly denied. Viator SUCKS! DO NOT GET SUCKED IN!!

      Viator does honor their price match guarantee. Glass bottom boat cruise in Waikiki offers $6 discount for seniors and Viator issued refund. It is nice to see a company that honors its promise.

      Worst experience ever. They make it so difficult to find them, we got there 4 minutes late and they didn't allow us to take the tour to the ********. Two days later we booked again a tour with them because they were the only option. The tour included ********* forum and palatine hill tickets. But when we finished ************* they said it was too late to do the rest!!! That we could do it the next day but we had to leave the next day so we lost it.

      Viator is refusing to give us a refund due to circumstances beyond our control. We were on a cruise ship to Mykonos. Winds and seas were too rough to let us off our boat to go ashore. That would fall under bad weather scenario and we should get a refund of $1300 for 10 people. This was not our fault, we were denied access to the island because of ************ authority.

      Viator is a third party who books tours thru local providers. There is a disconnect between them and the local provider and getting scheduling information is near impossible. I suspect there is a very high no show rate because there is no financial incentive to provide the service once payment has been made. I will never use Viator again as previous posters have said, they are a scam outfit who have a significant unhappy customer base. Only book with ********************** who can provide accurate pick up place and time when you book.One of the thousands of unhappy Viator customers
