      Do you want to deal with a company that promises you excellent service and don't deliver. Do you want to deal with a company that promises fool refund for horrible and life threatening experience and don't deliver. I don't advise.

      Booked an ***************** tour in *********. Description said nothing about age limits, we were denied entrance because of our 2 year old. Description of event even said "stroller accessible." Asked for a refund, they said no. Filed a chargeback with my bank and Viator refused to answer my bank, meaning I don't get the money back. Avoid this company at all costs!

      Booked a cooking class but were unable to attend. Viator refused to refund even though we cancelled several days in advance and the spots were filled quickly. No one lost money except us. And Viator pocketed the money. So, profitable for them. They will not advocate for their customer.

      Stay away from Viator, inc.! It is a scam!I am including the initial communication via BBB regarding my problem with Viator for not paying me for my services rendered for their company. I will delete any private information pertaining to myself or my company."I am enrolled in the Viator, *************** as an Affiliate sole proprietor business entitled -----. Viator lists my service as a tour guide operator for tourists who may be interested in taking my tours. When an interested tourist requests my service they contact me via email and if we agree on me giving the tour the tourist pays Viator a fee, which in turn Viator is to provide me a payout for my service by the 7th of the following month. In my case, my Jan. 27th tour (Viator Booking Reference: .....) should have been sent to my bank by Feb. 9th, 2024. I never received this payout! I have contacted Viator on several occasions and they repeatedly say that my banking information needed to be updated. Even though my bank account has not changed I updated it on the Viator affiliate link in my account, with the same account number ending in 72, since it has not changed! at least twice on the Viator "partners" weblink/page). I also sent a Viator representative a screenshot of my bank account number which ends in *************************************************************************************** "20"!Since my initial complaint (above) was filed I've responded to Viator twice and they keep writing back "Unfortunately customer care does not have the ability to assist suppliers and payment issues, we have now reported the issue to our supplier support team for assistance. "I am now closing my account with ********************** and considering this experience an unfortunate endeavor where I've lost $170. Be warned and stay away from Viator!

      If I could give zero stars I would. There was a booking error and it was for the wrong date. This would have been fine if they had done the confirmation 24 hours before as it says in the description of the booking. Instead there was no notice the day before or even the day of when they supposedly waited two hours for us. They completed the event and said nothing to us. No message on viator or WhatsApp. The only reason I was aware of this entire situation was because I received a text sitting on the tarmac waiting for take off to ****** asking me to review the service. I scrambled to figure out something before we took off. I messaged the number provided on WhatsApp. They said there was no availability so I quickly booked something else. We got there and had internet again and they messaged asking what our arrival info was. They said we could request a cancellation and get a refund for the remainder of the trip. I tried to cancel and get a refund but they had completed it so that was not an option. We decided to cut our losses and just take the trip back after the end of the vacation. They sent us a confirmation email 2 days in advance and changed our pick up time to an hour earlier than planned. We asked if there was any way to push it back since that not what we had asked for. They said no as it was - shared ride. At this point, I requested a refund with more than 24 hours in advance of the return trip and they denied it. The reasoning was it was booked round trip so there are no refunds for one way or the other. Even though they had originally said to do that. **************** for ********************** was no help. They were rude and hung up on me when they said they would put me on hold. The second person I talked to, ***, refused to let me talk to the supervisor. She blamed me for the incidence as she said they did not have to provide 24 hour prior confirmation even though it is in the description of the booking. Do not waste your time. Do not bother with this.

      WARNING!!!!!!!! do not use this company. I just booked a **************************************** in *******. There was no way to select time or date and so I thought it was coupon. Thankfully I'm wise and old these days. so I read everything. It selected by itself tomorrow? I'm in ********? I called immediately....they were rude and absolutely not helpful. I did get my money back in the end but goodness it was a struggle. Had I not seen the date they selected it could have been another story. Dreadful dreadful company, horrible customer service.Do NOT book with this company.

      TripAdvisor denied our business without any explanation or reason. I reached out multiple times to customer services, but they assign a new person every time and nothing gets resolved. **************** doesnt read and doesnt really want to put any effort into solving the problem. I know a few listings that they approved for people that dont even have a website so they dont do any legwork to check, basically they dont care which is scary because so many people can get scammed.

      We paid $170 for the full-day ******* Islands tour in ********* that we took on December 30, 2023.Our tour was supposed to start at 8am. We followed the instruction and arrived at the meeting point, where the team member was supposed to meet us at 7:45am. However, we could not find any team members until 8:45am. The boarding dock was full of people, and we did not understand where to find our guide. Then suddenly all these people started creating the line. As it turned out that we had to stay in that line and wait for one more hour on the heat to do our check in and get on the boat. Instead of 8am, we left at 10am, losing two hours of our tour.We got seated in the front of a boat, because no other seats were available at the time of our boarding. The boat was speeding so badly, that we were jumping up and down on our seats, and it was very painful for our backs. The crew did drive at a safe speed, and they did not follow any safety rules at all. When we asked our guide to reduce the speed, he said that it is impossible, because the captain likes speeding. Then the captain overcame any limits - our boat jumped too high, that my boyfriend was screaming in pain he got hit in the *****. We insisted on stopping the boat. Finally, they stopped and found two seats for us at the back. When we left that boat, our bodies got a lot of scratches and bruises. We did not want to do snorkeling. We wanted to stay in the shade on the boat while all other people are doing this activity. However, the crew forced us to leave the boat and stay in the water. Their explanation was that they need to fill the boats fuel tank because it was empty. They left us just in the ocean in the sun - that was a real torture to stay in the sun! The captain said that they will be back in 30 minutes, but they came back in one hour! By the time they came back, we got completely sunburned, despite we used the sunscreen lotion This tour was a disaster, and we want to receive a full refund for this.

      Poor communication and customer service compared to other travel booking companies. Viator has canceled my trip last-minute (after waiting an hour for transportation in the morning in ******). Then on a Cabo vacation they posted a pickup time under my trip details page, but then showed up before then and never called (standard procedures with other companies). They charged me over $400 for a trip I did not go on. **************** via phone and email were rude and did not help at all. Other travel companies informed me that this is often the case with visitor, mixed messages and poor communication -d service.

      My husband and I took a trip to ***** in December and booked our trips through Trip Advisor. Worst decision ever.The first excursion listed the wrong meetup point and we spent an hour walking around/messaging the tour guide. Now we're being told the refund is being refused.The last two excursions we had we were unable to join as I had contacted COVID. Once we arrived home I provided my positive COVID test and was told we would receive a refund. Now they are refusing. Horrible.
