I have emailed & called about my order many times with no help at all. I have asked for supervisors over the phone and was told theyd call me back but no one did. I was already charged $336 for my order and have been told by ********* that they cant find it. A person named **** said he would issue me a refund if I didnt receive my order today. I just called and he is not in today & the operators say their systems are down. Im not sure what else to do. This is what I originally wrote My order was placed on April 13, and still NOT shipped at all. Please just cancel & refund my $336. ClarksAmerica had a recall on a specific shoe around the beginning of Nov. 2022. I filled out the form and sent them back for a full refund. I got an email telling me to call to make the refund possible. I called, (call took 35 minutes to get through) and spoke to a representative. He said the refund would be placed on my original credit card. That card is no longer. He refused to take a new card number. He said they would refund me the full amount on the original card. Somehow we were disconnected. I've emailed them several times, included my name, address, phone number, only to be told to call again. I tried again to call, but was on hold 40 minutes and hung up. I sent an email to request a check. I do not want a gift card. It is February 2023 and I have not gotten a response, a refund, or call. I received notice the shoes I purchased were recalled. I have called, filled out the forms multiple times. They are supposed to send me a package so I can return the shoes. I started this in November. I want to be able to return the shoes and get a refund.Business Response

Wednesday at noon, I went to Clarks at Tanger in Commerce. I pulled up at the curb; when I walked in, I was greeted by a lady; and I told her I left my two little girls in the car because it was cold and raining that I needed a specific shoe, and she said, it was okay that they weren't busy and she would go see if she had the size I needed I was the only customer in the **********************. I was standing up front, and she was walking back to the register with my shoe box when a man threw open the front door and yelled at the lady and said, who is parked at the curb. He then saw me, and I said, Youre so entitled, and sorry you cant walk? You cant park there. Move. I said, I pulled up to run in for a certain shoe she went to get it. He said, No, you parked. he walked by me and mumbled under his breath that I was a dumb b**** I looked at the lady because I had no idea who he was. And she said with big eyes Im so so sorry. She started checking me out, and he came out of the back room and came behind the counter, and started rolling his eyes. So I asked him who he was. He said, *******, the Manager, then told me that disabled people wheeled across the parking lot to come in, but I was so lazy, entitled, and blind that I couldnt see the yellow line on the curb and had to park. I asked him if he owned the establishment or paid the rent. He started mouthing that I was a b**** again. I then told him that, yes, I did park on the curb on an empty weekday to keep my girls out of the cold and rain. What was worse? Where I pulled my car to or how he was treating me and calling me names. He then told me he could care less about my kids. The lady checking me out mouthed she was sorry. I said its okay. Not your fault. Thank you for helping me. He then smirked and told me to get in my car and leave. If he was that aggressive and combative to me a customer in the 10 mins I was in the building over a curb, then what would he say or do to her, a woman, and alone in his store. I called the sheriffs office and told them what happened and they said they would send an officer to watch things. I reached out to the office at Tanger and was given the manager and regional managers emails and numbers. I sent an email and called them. The regional manager returned my call and said he would be back in contact with me by Friday. Today, he called and said he would credit me back for the transaction. I asked had anything been done at the store location with the manager and I was informed he couldnt discuss employees. I told him I still needed the shoes but I needed a different size. That I did not feel safe going into the store if he was going to be there. The regional manager couldnt tell me I would be safe, if things were made safe inside the store, nothing. Just that if I wanted to come in and exchange then he could be there in two weeks to do my transaction. A simple thing of buying your husband shoes at Tanger has turned into being called names, attacked, and yelled at because your trying to keep your babies out of the cold, and rain. When the manager could have helped check me out as quickly as possible and on my way or politely asked me to leave. Ladies, beware. There are no cameras at Tanger stores. A male manager can attack you with no recourse from Clarks for your protection in the future. Just offered a free pair of shoes. I forgot it was a mans world long enough to pick up a pair of shoes.Was told by ****** the manager was ********************************* a key holder at Clarks.Business Response

Clarks takes this matter seriously, and has investigated the situation according to its regular HR practices. While Clarks investigation resulted in some disputed facts in contradiction to the customer's complaint, the employee was issued a verbal warning.
Clarks also took steps with the customer to rectify the situation by providing her with the subject pair of shoes at no cost, and when those shoes did not fit appropriately, Clarks offered to work with her to exchange that pair for a new size. Clarks considers this matter resolved.

Clarks Womens Shoes apparently has 2 different versions of the ***** Poppy slip-ons. One is a dark leather classy looking shoe, and the other is a lesser quality "Collection by Clarks" shoe also called ***** Poppy. I ordered the classy looking shoe and received the cheap looking one. I can find nothing online about this problem online. I do see that the "Collection by Clarks" shoe is sold by Kohls and QVC.I was unable to get through to someone in customer service today.
