Sent *********** and they confirmed the part and pricing. I ordered with 2 day shipping and all was handle as expected. It included a warning about priming which was a good detail to just remind me including how. There was also a ordering mistake by me and they fix it without any issues.Although I agree with little related to phone support, email worked very well.

**************** is very poor. No phone support on an order for ****************** I purchased. I asked for and paid for expedited shipping (2-day) and the part still has not arrived. Kind of wondering if this company actually exists. **** consider putting this in dispute with AMEX if the part doesn't arrive today as promised. Also did not receive a confirmation or tracking number on my corrected email address.

The customer experienced a 1 day delay (due to **** not us) and received his part today - 1 day later than expected.  ******* tracking number was 1Z954Y7A0217026774.  His last correspondence with us was "Thank you!".

I believe he jumped the gun on this bad review.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE While the product was shipped and delivered quickly, we didn't discover until weeks later when my husband took it out of the box (4-stroke outboard carburetor) that he ordered the wrong part. That's on us, but we tried calling and emailed Ready Set Boat to discuss the best way to go about returning it (unused) for at least a partial refund, and received zero response to emails (except one automatic response that said they would be in touch with us shortly - never happened), and there is no way to actually talk to a person on the phone. We understand that they were closed at the time, at least that's what the outgoing phone message said, but we tried calling again when they were supposedly open, and still no way to speak to a person, and still no reply to emails. We went ahead and returned the unused part with a letter, hoping that would spur some sort of communication from RSB (hopefully a refund!), but still nothing, and now we are out $324.99. I would rather not be writing this on a public forum, but have no choice when the company won't communicate with us.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a fuel pump for my 90 hp Mercury outboard and it did not work. I contacted the company through email and was told to send it back and they would send me a new one as soon as they got the defective one back. I have emailed them three times and did not get a response. I should have done my home work and read all of the negative reviews about this company. My attorney who is a very good friend of mine told me to give them a few more weeks before we proceed. This is terrible that I should have to go this far.

We apologize for the delay as we were closed during the Holidays and were trying to play catchup (admittedly, returns/replacements were put aside until we had all of our backlog of orders shipped out).  We have already responded to the customer and his replacement is going out today.

I ordered fuel pumps for mercury and they didnt perform-as required. Had to have marine shop troubleshoot and found that pumps would not meet pressure requirements. Returned pumps and docs as required with statement from shop and they lied stating pumps were good and would not warranty, nor would they return calls. They closed from October to December voiding my warranty return. **** dispute with **** and they would not refund me costing me > 750$. Do not order from this company they will rip you off and not return calls

I purchased a carburetor and had to return it because it did not fit. It has been over 30 days and they have not provided me the refund and they won't response to me with the status.

i ordered a starter and alternator for my mercury verado 300. I was trying to be proactive and replace them before they went out. I received both parts, installed the starter and it would not work. Voltage was coming in but the coil would not energize. I then reinstalled the old one and its working properly. I emailed Ready set boat and after about 3 emails they finally responded saying they usually dont take back parts that have been installed. Just FYI, you cant test the part if it isnt installed. I had to pay shipping to send it back and after aprox 8 follow up emails, i still havent heard back. Fast forward to this weekend. I installed the "new" alternator and took the boat to the lake for some testing before going offshore next month. In about 5 minutes on the water, i started to get a low voltage alarm!!. Took the boat back to the dock, checked the voltage at the alternator and its not functioning as well. For anyone that *** read this, What ever you do, Absolutely do NOT buy anything from this guy! Terrible customer service, and apparently cheap and poor quality parts. From my experience, i wouldn't doubt this guy sells used/broken parts and just repaints them to look new. All that needed to happen was issue a credit for the starter i sent back and non of this would have had to happen. Just to let people know Im only giving this guy a one star for a review because thats the minimum. One is way too much!

Customer did not want a replacement starter when we offered one after he said the first one was bad.  He then claimed he installed his old starter and it worked fine.  Obviously he didn't need a new starter and there was another issue (people don't replace these for fun).  In that same e-mail he stated alternator worked fine.  First of us hearing it did not was in this complaint.  None of it adds up - likely looking for free parts.

I ordered a carburetor for my mercury 15hp I sent them the year and serial number for the outboard and still they sent me the wrong carburetor after many tries they emailed me back and acknowledge that they sent me the wrong carburetor and sent me the correct one and a shipping label to return the incorrect carburetor which I sent it to them and I reached out to them to see if they received it and they won't answer my email or refund me the difference in price. I you need parts I suggest you look elsewhere

I sent back a carb that did not work with my motor and I've still yet to hear a word from them

We sent the customer the information about returns needing to be unused (his part was still under warranty, we offered to replace it).  Instead, he sent back a used part asking for a refund, which we denied per our return policy.  We can not afford to provide parts for people to troubleshoot with and then take them back, refund and throw them away because they are used.

****** O Ordered a ****** high pressure fuel pump, received a cheap after market part and was charged a restocking fee By the way you advertised it as a ****** OEM part

    Ready Set Boat

    Date: 07/11/2023

Nowhere did we advertise that as an OEM part - we said what it fits, and it would have worked for you as well as an OEM part.
